I know this has probably been brought up in the past but I don't have hours and hours to spend looking through all the threads to find one. I personally would date someone with tats and piercings. Just because they have those doesn't mean they are bad people. I have tats and I am pretty laid back and down to earth.

I got "over" all "that" with my daughter and her generation they're all tat'd up and pierced EVERYWHERE, not for me...but it's their "expression" of themselves, well OK, but I've got a Plastic Surgeon that owes me for when she "outgrows" it...I picked my battles!

Some people just don't like them while others do.
Me, I don't mind a regular ear piercing or a few tattoos....but those gauge things people get to stretch their ears out really gross me out. All I think about when I see them is how many things can fit through the hole they created.

Dermatologists make tons of money removing stupid tattoos off peoples skin. Piercings make me thing of cheap hookers or druggies. Combination of the two = drug use and no brain.

I guess I could live without her wearing backless dresses in formal settings. And if I don't like the tat I guess I could close my eyes during doggy style. I guess it would depend on the tat. Big difference between a beatiful landscape and a skull with fiery eyes.

That's the best look in my opinion.
If God created us, and we're miracles like Halle Berry's new pregnancy, then isn't it hubris to think you can improve upon God's artwork? If God had thought you'd look great with a tattoo, wouldn't you have been born with one? Who are you to try and improve upon what God created?

One of my exes would get a tattoo after bad things happened in his life because "he liked the pain." I thought he was absolutely stupid for it, because he would drop $200-300 on a tattoo when he desperately needed money for something else, like a car payment or his rent money. It wasn't responsible to me, not to mention they didn't look good on him either.

On the news this morning some guy got a free tattoo of the face of the man who helped the girl escape in Cleveland. A tattoo parlor was giving away the free tat as a tongue in cheek joke and some guy took them up on it.
The tat is on his calf right next to a tat of Chuck Norris.

If and when I get a tattoo....it would need to have some kind of meaning.
It's going to be on me forever, so I wouldn't get something stupid just because.
And my body doesn't take well to piercings. My ears used to get infected all the time, and when I got my bellybutton pierced, my body didn't accept it and pushed it out. No more piercings for me.

I wouldn't be interested, going by anyone I have met so far who had them. I developed a prejudice against that kind of thing. The art is almost always bad, the story worse, and then I am supposed to react as if I am not looking at an example of a self-inflicted ugly for no good reason. I have seen very few good tattoos but it seems like everyone who has one beams with pride. There is probably something about it that is lost on me, and they would be better off with someone who gets it.

For tattoes
Too much and I wouldn't be interested, too much and their earning ability is very very low.(with a few famous exceptions)
For peircings, other than ears, not a fan. My rebellious 17 year old daughter has a few and I HATE THEM! Not her, just the piercings.

Sorry, ladies, but a tramp stamp is a trashy look. It's like high hair, it was a fad, but the fad has passed. Unfortunately tats aren't like hairstyles, you can't just change 'em.
Neck tattoos also say trashy to me. Sleeves of tats say trashy too.
Most titty tats say trashy as well.
I think ankle tats and back of shoulder tats are sexy provided they're a tat of something cool like a butterfly or winnie the pooh. A skull with a dagger in it on her belly isn't sexy. A small rose on her hip is sexy.
I guess it depends upon the tat and the placement. Some are sexy and some are trashy, in my opinion, seeing as beauty (or trashiness) is in the eye of the beholder. As I behold them, some tats are okay and some are trashy or overboard.
Same with piercings. A nice belly button piercing can be sexy. Eight chunks of metal sticking out of your lips and eyebrows is never sexy.
Once again, just a personal opinion from someone who doesn't like mayonaise or cooked spinach.

problem I see with a tattoo on a woman is that you don't know if you should touch it or not, especially during times of sexual intimacy, some have tattoos that are tributes to weird things even dead relatives, if you rub and caress that part of the her body... are you getting turn on by her or by the grave markers

Interesting story, sort of, I was at some house party when I came across this beautiful woman. She had the most gorgeous eyes, her hair was on point and looked great in what ever she was wearing. A friend took me over to meet her and when she turned around she had a tat on her chest and a full sleeve. I was like awwwww! I'd still bang her, though. True Story!

Well maybe some would say that. I'll explain it this way. I would bang the color out of her red hair. I'd sneak her into and out of anyplace she wanted me to bang her.
I would not however, marry her, take her anywhere important to my career, introduce her to family members, take her to a formal ball etc.---Hypocrite-yep. Is that reality, yep. I have been the good enough to bang, not good enough to marry-so it happens to both sexes.
