A young friend of all my grand daughters
committed suicide today...
Her parents who are INDIA natives own our Motel here
The parents had arranged a marriage
with her for some old man in India
and she wanted to marry an American
which calls for being dis-owned by parents
she went in the shower and shot herself

Hard to say who lives here with standards we don't believe in and what really young girl wants to marry some old man she has never met....those older men in India pride themselves with getting some young thing to marry and practically put in slavery...some not allowed an education or to shop or drive a car......really makes me mad--my g/kids have cried all day. Women in Our good old USA don't realize their freedom...

We are having quickie showers this morning,In A severe weather watch,but been not to bad here. Sadie@ what did the vet say about your dog?
She had gone into heat--never went out for a month --she has a uteran infection --she had never been spayed but had never had puppies...so I guess it was her age --10 years old...had to give her a ton of shots and pills and now have her spayed when she is better.
