I wonder what happened between then and now, to make such changes in our society? actually I think I know...but I wonder if the op does? of she doesn't...she wasn't around to see what happened.

Some of these are good things. the problem is, like most movements in the country, they started out a good thing....but went too far....to the point we are seeing the negative ramifications too. and I say that meaning all of these different movements. and most of these things were in the name of freedoms. yet, these days, we have less freedoms """collectively""" than ever before. Of course the op was never around back then to make a fair comparison.

LAZY, as in they hear about an idea, jump to the conclusion that it means "I get cool stuff for free" or "I get blamed for other peoples' crap," and so without bothering to actually THINK, they declare the idea "good" or "bad", depending on which assumption they've made about it. Thus, for example, when a lazy GUY hears about 'feminism,' instead of putting in the work to learn what it means, he just declares that it's "women attacking men for their own crap." And with pretty much all the old 'liberation movements,' there have always been a lot of people who are both lazy AND greedy. So we see the lazy women, who hear 'feminism,' and jump straight to the idea that it means "I get whatever I want, and act rude about it, because I'm female." Because those particular women make a lot of noise, even though they actually represent the OPPOSITE of feminism, the lazy angry guys, latch on to them as "proof" that feminism is "bad." So we end up with what we see all the time: lots of loud, ignorant people demanding free stuff, or declaring that all there is to "liberation" is theft and abuse.

I think that dishonesty and selfinesh is no gender specific; there are bad men, bad women, good men and good women. Especially because if the father of the child is not well off, the child support is not much. However there is no way for men to defend themselves from paternity fraud; the woman can manipulate a man easily into get her pregnant. The LAST thing that I'm going to let happen to me, is knocking someone up, and barely being able to feed myself, deal with excessive amounts of stress, and fail to pay my property taxes because of children amd unfair custody/child support laws. Had a girlfriend try to trap me, in my sleep, while drunk amd passed out(this was prior to my vasectomy). She miscarried, three months later, thank God.(I woke up as she was "finishing") Taught me everything I needed to know about women, that is for sure.

Honestly, prior to male birth control, men should have just been more careful about their sexuality. Condoms weren't perfect or as effective, but better than the alternative. My mom gave me and my sister the "birds and bees" discussions when we were 10 and 12, respectively. Got the drug talks around that time. Learned about guns by the age of 12. Was learning how to drive by 14. That is the difference between what you say, and what most parents do. You would talk to your children. Most parents try to avoid it. I have had female friends, between the ages of 15-18, when I was 18-19 years old. It made my jaw drop, when I had to give them the "Birth Control" talks and planning parenting.

Got the drug talks around that time. Learned about guns by the age of 12. Was learning how to drive by 14. For some reason I just knew about birds and bees stuff without being told so the talk was just kinda awkward lol. I never really knew about drugs much. My mum wouldn't let me go to the classes in school that did stuff on drugs. So I kind of knew but not very much until like 18-19. In recent years I have researched the hell out of it because it's pretty interesting lol You don't want an American man, then. Trust me. American men may say they want a baby, but I live here. I see how they typically react, when they get the news of being a father. You would think they were sentenced to death, most of the time. There are some good ones, that want children, though. And some that didn't want kids, but still love their children regardless. The guy I like is American and wants babies it's freaking so cute Actually my dad didn't want more kids but then had me and my sis xD

There is a joke, that men will fake the relationship to get the orgasm, and women fake the orgasm to get the relationship. Now, how do you suppose those stereotype jokes came to origin?
