Back in October I bought a Ithica sigle shot Trap gun Custom Crafted by SKB for Ithica.
Bought it very cheap at a gun show and it felt like someone after thousands of rounds fired had shot it out as it felt lose. I would almost bet the former owner thought so and traded it in on a new gun. Turned out all it needed was the bolt cleaned
Now it locks up tight as new

You went to an evil gun show

I once had a sears single shot 12 gauge that every time you shot it would open up and send the empty shell right at your face. After a good cleaning with a little help from an air hose it worked perfect.

I have a 2014 Polaris ranger 570efi very fast 60mph but expensive to upkeep and unreliable, put 3 prop shafts in it and 1 clutch and a new set of tires, because the front end goes toes out, wont buy another.

^^ This reminds of a cop that arrested a guy a couple years ago for letting his dog ride in the back of his truck, not tied in. The charges were denied and the cop was fired but a few PETA people picketed the police chief.

We have just seen the first wild pigs around here, never had them before. I was surprised by how fast they can run. Some people claim they eat quail eggs and we have just started to see them return. Will be shooting as many pigs as I can.

No one turned these loose, they have been migrating from Texas for years and have now got here. Your right they will ruin everything, they already tore up hay meadows and acres of soy beans. We'll probably never get rid of them.

We have A$$ holes here in the south that love to hunt them with dogs. And they are some of the lowest life forums of human beings you can find.they have never had a job. And they figured out about 15 years ago that if they went down into the swamps and caught wild hogs and brought them up to the farm land and turned them loose. That the farmers would pay them to catch them. Well it worked very well until the farmers figured out that they were just turning them out on other farmers until the got paid to catch them again. And then they would bring them back to the first farm and start all over again .sorry sacks of shit need to be shot along with the hogs

I never thought about someone turning them loose to get paid to catch them. Thanks for the info we'll have to watch out for the hog hunters.

Went to the local Pheasant forever dinner last saturday night & won a Savage 17A .17HMR simi-automatic rifle. Now I need a scope for it as it has no fixed sights on it.
Basicly got my money back for attending And it did make me happy as well
Should be an excelent choice to carry on & with my new Kawaski mule around the farm.
Anyone know what scope I should buy for it?

Is it just me or is it getting hard to find new rifles with open sights?

I had to special order a savage 22mag with open sights and then the sight were after market and don't work, adjusted all the way and still shoots 10inches high.
