But shortly after falling in love with a Muslim and moving with him to Turkey, her little world of unicorns and rainbows would soon be destroyed. Through her blog, she would go on to tell the world about the horrifying things her Muslim boyfriend put her through, describing the fear and hell she lived in as he began practicing Sharia Law on her, controlling her every move as he beat and raped her for going against his wishes.

I am a radical activist based in Washington DC. I fell in love with an energetic, charismatic activist I met in November when I was present to write about resistance to the G20 Summit, a global event in Antalya, Turkey. After I came home to the US, we talked every day. He was lovely and charming, I thought at the time. He offered a ready smile, engaging kindness, and intelligent conversation. He said all the right things to convince me that he cared about women’s rights and activism. In February, I decided to return to Turkey with the promise of love driving me forward. I couldn’t have known things would turn sour.
The first two weeks were quite the love story. I observed that he was drinking heavily, and called him an “alky,” but it was just a joke at first. We went to the beach and historic sites, and he introduced me to his friends. All seemed to be going well, and I felt that the romance was solidly moving forward.
Then came our first fight. I had wanted to interview a local woman for an article on Syrian refugees. He did not approve. He knew the woman and did not like her, so he strictly forbade me from speaking with her. After I questioned his rationale, he yelled and stormed out of the room to go smoke a cigarette. I just stood in the middle of the room not knowing what to do. Of course, as a Western woman, no one had ever forbidden me from speaking with anyone else. It was a strange feeling: Don’t I have a mouth to speak? Why can I not use it as I wish?
Then MacAuley discusses her feminist background that would’ve prevented her from being with a Muslim had she known what they truly believe. But of course this lesson came too late, as she would soon learn:
This is elementary feminism. No man has the power to silence a woman, just because he is a man. How far backwards things would slide in the coming weeks.
What I found over the next few weeks was absolute frustration of my efforts to do my advocacy work. I had put myself in a place of dependence upon a person who, as it turned out, would have liked to keep me by his side and control my every move. He hindered, rather than helped, the work I tried to do there.
Hilariously, MacAuley would soon realize that people who criticize Islam are not bigots at all…as her life was transformed into a living hell with her Muslim boyfriend.
Things deteriorated rapidly. His insecurity and childishness got worse. In the following weeks, I was violently pushed, blocked from leaving freely, and repeatedly told not to speak. If I spoke anyway, anger erupted. I endured threats that I would be burnt with cigarettes, flinching as he “faked” with his lit cigarette. I had to duck to avoid having sharp objects thrown at my face. I had water angrily poured over my head.
Unwanted sex? Rape? All the time. He did not stop to determine whether I consented to sex. Several times, he turned off my wifi and lied about it, a modern-day form of gaslighting. He verbally criticized me for using social media, my main link to the rest of my life back in the US, and tried to discourage me from using it. He forced me to unfriend one Turkish man on Facebook, and wanted me to unfriend many more.
MacAuley then went into detail how she was victimized by other Muslims, and jailed by Turkish police because she was a journalist from America.
Two days later, however, I was jailed by Turkish police for several hours when I tried to simply enter a large public speech in Antalya by the president of Turkey. (They make a habit of jailing reporters and activists, and I didn’t look like I fit their norms. I wrote about this experience with the Turkish police here.) I had an “out of the frying pan and into the fire” sensation.
What’s even more ironic is even after MacAuley’s up close and personal experience with true Islam, she is still in denial. No matter how many times she was beaten and raped by her Muslim boyfriend, she still manages to believe that he believes in women’s rights, going on to state on her blog that he still “saw the silver lining in her activism.”
This story just goes to prove that liberalism truly is a mental disorder. This idiotic woman will still continue to push for left-wing totalitarianism. Too bad that Turkish prison couldn’t have kept her locked up a little longer. Sounds like MacAuley still has a long way to go before she finally wakes from her fantasy world of unicorns and rainbows!

Here’s what you DON’T know about the Obamacare repeal: the good, the bad, and the ugly

Yesterday House Republicans gave an Obamacare repeal a second try following their failure in March. In March the “American Health Care Act” (AHCA) was dead on arrival, without as much as a vote being held. This time around, the revised AHCA (previously branded “Obamacare-lite”) passed in the House 217/213, with 217 Republicans voting in favor, 20 against (and 1 abstaining), while all 193 Democrats voted against the bill.
Outside of some fear-mongering over people losing coverage, there hasn’t been much discussion about what the contents of the bill actually are. As you’d guess from how the vote was split, there was nothing of redeeming value for Democrats – and even some Republicans wouldn’t back the bill (you can find a list and their explanations for doing so here).
As for the details, here’s a key summary, courtesy of Unbiased America.
Parts of Obamacare repealed:
• The employer mandate and penalties for not insuring employees who work more than 30 hours a week at companies with more than 50 employees are repealed.
• The individual mandate and penalties for not having insurance are repealed.
• Obamacare’s expansion of Medicaid will effectively be reversed in 2020 when the federal government stops funding it. States that have not already expanded would not be allowed to do so, starting immediately.
• Obamacare’s income-based subsidies are ended.
• The 3.8 percent tax on investment income is repealed, as is the 0.9 percent tax on higher income Americans.
• The tax on medical devices is eliminated, as are the taxes on prescription medications, health insurance premiums, flexible spending accounts, tanning salons, and retiree prescription drug coverage.
• The tax deduction on expenses exceeding 7.5 percent of a family’s income is reinstated (Obamacare had increased the threshold to 10 percent).
• Obamacare’s prohibition on using Flexible Spending Account and Health Savings Account (HSA) pre-tax dollars to purchase non-prescription, over-the-counter medicines is repealed.
• The tax penalty on withdrawing money from Health Savings Account for non-qualified medical expenses is repealed.
• State Medicaid plans will no longer have to cover some Obamacare-mandated essential health benefits.
• Planned Parenthood funding is eliminated.
Parts of Obamacare kept:
• People with preexisting conditions cannot be denied coverage. The measure would provide states with federal funds to help set up high-risk pools to provide insurance to the sickest patients and to help those with pre-existing conditions pay for insurance.
• Dependents can still stay on their parent’s health insurance plan until age 26.
• Insurers are still prohibited from setting annual and lifetime limits on individual coverage.
• The “Cadillac tax” on generous healthcare plans will remain, but be postponed from 2020 to 2025.
• Current Medicaid enrollees will be grandfathered in when the federal government stops providing the extra federal funds that allow for expansion in 2020.
Parts of Obamacare replaced:
• Obamacare’s income-based subsidies are replaced by age-based tax credits of $2,000 to $4,000 per person per year, increasing with someone’s age. The credits would start to phase out for individuals earning $75,000 and households earning $150,000, and would be unavailable for individuals who earn more than $215,000.
• Although the annual penalty for not having insurance is repealed, people who wait until they become sick or let their coverage lapse for more than 63 days can be charged a 30 percent surcharge on premiums for one year when they do finally sign up.
• The amount people and employers can contribute to tax-free health savings accounts will double.
• Private plans are still required to offer ten essential health benefits, but states can now opt out of the requirement.
• States will now be able to opt out of Obamacare’s mandate that insurers charge the same rates to sick and healthy people.
• Under Obamacare, insurers could only charge seniors up to 3 times more than they charged young people. The new law changes that restriction to 5 times more.
In summary, the heart of Obamacare, the individual mandate, is torn out, as are the major taxes funding the law. The main argument against the repeal, that those with preexisting conditions will lose care is bogus, as the ACHA actually does more to insure those with preexisting conditions.
Will it be viable? The Senate is waiting until the CBO scores the bill (calculates the cost) before voting on it. Senate Republicans currently hold a slight 52-48 majority, but are eyeing special rules to pass a version of the ACHA with only a simple majority.

They (antifa) tried to set it again but failed. Multiple fights broke out yesterday during the march and my iPhone was smashed by someone with antifas (she was arrested).

Colorado Bill Would Allow Victims Of Illegal Aliens To Sue Officials Of Sanctuary Cities

Legislators in Colorado are considering a bill that would allow the victims of illegal aliens to sue the political leaders of the sanctuary cities that they reside in.
The bill is HB17-1134, known as the “Politician Accountability Act,” and was introduced by Representative Dave Williams.
The bill would allow a victim of an illegal alien’s crime, whether it be personal injury or property damage, to file a civil suit against elected officials or jurisdictions that are responsible for creating a policy to operate as a sanctuary city.

The bill also spells out how it would be determined whether or not an elected official would be considered to bear at least partial responsibility for sanctuary city policies.
“An elected official is responsible for the creation of a sanctuary jurisdiction if the elected official votes in favor of imposing or creating a law, ordinance, or policy that allows the jurisdiction to operate as a sanctuary jurisdiction, fails to take steps to try to change a law, ordinance, or policy that allows the jurisdiction to operate as a sanctuary jurisdiction, or is a county sheriff who imposes or enforces a policy that allows the jurisdiction to operate as a sanctuary jurisdiction in a county in which the elected officials have not voted to impose or create a sanctuary jurisdiction.”
One of the most infamous cases of sanctuary city policies having real-world consequences came from San Francisco in 2015.
Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a criminal illegal alien who had multiple felony convictions, including of possession of narcotics, was picked up by authorities for an outstanding drug warrant. Sanchez had previously been deported at least five times.
While being detained in the San Francisco County Jail, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued a detainer, which is a request for local authorities to hold the illegal alien in custody until immigration officials could arrange for them to be picked up for processing.
The average time for detainers is 48 hours.
Rather than complying with federal laws, San Francisco authorities chose, instead, to release the five-time deported illegal immigrant with multiple felony convictions including possession of narcotics back onto the streets.
Two and a half months later, Sanchez murdered 32-year-old Kate Steinle with a firearm that had been stolen from the car of a federal agent.
The Politician Accountability Act, if passed, would place responsibility of the consequences of sanctuary city policies on the politicians that choose to create them in the first place.

An illegal alien who killed two women in a drunken hit-and-run in Louisville, Ky. has been deported eight times, the Justice Department revealed on Wednesday.
Miguel Angel Villasenor-Saucedo, 40, was driving a truck when he hit and killed two women who were on the side of a highway in Louisville following a traffic accident. After striking the women, the Mexican national fled the scene on foot.
He has not been apprehended, but a federal grand jury indicted him this week for illegal re-entry after deportation. If convicted of illegal re-entry, the illegal alien faces a maximum penalty of two years in prison.

Stories like this keep popping up like… Well, illegal immigrants. The obvious thru line? These violent cretins should have never been here in the first place. Unfortunately for their victims, they were always just one border hop away from being murdered. Doomed to an inevitable fate thanks to our tawdry national security (see ICE Brags About Arresting 101 Illegals… Out of 172,000). At least they tried.
Take this guy for example – he was deported eight times. Persistent little wart. You’d think after, say, the first three or four times, officials would begin to sense what we call a “pattern.” See, when something happens consistently in the same manner it becomes easy to predict what will happen next. For instance, ICE being a festering pile of fail? Predictable. It’s part of a long, rich pattern of suck.
It’s stories like this that Democrats always ignore. By shoving their heads firmly in the rectum of the closest feminist they can find. Hence why the political pendulum swung, bulldozing its way through the Democrat establishment. Seems like Americans are a tad fed up with the leftist way of handling such criminality (read 1,800 Illegal Immigrants to be Deported. Obama Admin Grants Citizenship Instead…).

New Biography: Obama Dumped White Girlfriend Because Her Race Was a Political Liability

According to a new biography of Barack Obama, the future president once proposed to his white live-in girlfriend, but broke off their relationship when he decided her race would hamper his political career.
In his autobiographies, Obama only alludes to his previous relationships before meeting his eventual wife Michelle, and at times even used a "composite girlfriend." But Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David Garrow managed to track down one of his exes for his new book, Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama.
Sheila Miyoshi Jager, now an Oberlin professor, was Obama's live-in girlfriend in his early Chicago years before he met Michelle. Jager told Garrow that Obama asked her to marry him twice, once at her parents' house in 1986 and a year later before he went to Harvard Law School. Both times she refused him.

But eventually Obama began to see Jager as a potential liability to his political career in Chicago, where African-American politicians were often looked down upon for marrying outside the race. Illinois state senator Richard H. Newhouse Jr., the Washington Post notes in its review of Garrow's book, was often mocked behind his back for "talking black but sleeping white" because of his white wife.
A mutual family friend also confirmed that Obama tied his decision to dump Jager to her race.
"The lines are very clearly drawn … If I am going out with a white woman, I have no standing here," the friend recalled Obama saying.
Things supposedly came to a head at a summer getaway when Obama and Jager spent an entire afternoon loudly arguing about the issue within earshot of their friends.
"‘That's wrong! That's wrong! That's not a reason,' they heard Sheila yell from their guest room, their arguments punctuated by bouts of makeup sex," the Post reports.
Obama and Jager soon broke up, heading their separate ways. Rich was beaten, shot and killed early on the morning of July 8 while he was walking home and talking on the phone to his girlfriend. Police have said they haven’t determined if his murder was a botched robbery or something else. The killer or killers appear to have taken nothing from their victim, leaving behind his wallet, watch and phone.
Wikileaks just confirmed murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was the source of the DNC leak.

According to a new interview Wikileaks envoy Craig Murray and former British ambassador stated the he personally flew to the United States and was handed both the DNC emails and the Podesta emails.

Since the election of Donald Trump, Silicon Valley tech companies are reportedly paying their employees to have time off to be social justice warriors.
Silicon Valley technology firms are reportedly giving their employees a new perk: paid time off to protest the administration.
According to The Christian Science Monitor, Facebook even gave their employees paid time off on May 1st to protest the administration.
This definitely isn’t the first time Facebook has gotten political.
Just before the French election, Facebook decided to shut down over 30,000 French accounts associated with ‘fake news.’ Not to mention the fact that Facebook actually helps the Pakistani government remove ‘blasphemous content’ from the site.
Now big corporations and small ones alike and California’s bay area are reportedly giving paid time off for their employees to go protest. This might be even worse than liberal professors giving their students the day off to “cope” with Trump’s victory.
The San Francisco Chronicle spoke to a CEO who gives his employees two days off a year for political action.
“Democracy is a participatory institution; it’s not just something that takes place every four years when you have a candidate in a race,” said Adam Kleinberg, CEO of San Francisco marketing firm Traction, which is allowing employees two paid “Days of Action” for civic engagement per year.
The company’s policy includes a list of approved activities and requires employees to state their plans in advance.

Kleinberg went on to reveal the true motivation of his two days of paid time off per year.
“I was certainly motivated because I think Trump is a man with dangerous ideas and low moral character, but I also didn’t want to be a hypocrite and prevent people from expressing whatever political views they may hold,” he said. “Through organized protest, citizens have the ability to apply pressure when laws or government bodies are not really applying the will of the people to the legislation they put forth.”

After the protest, Hoffman sat down with reporters over lunch at a Panera restaurant to discuss his views on society.
“We are the resistance,” he said stoically. “That’s why I wear this mask. The mask represents resistance against our commercial society. And thank God for Amazon Prime, because I was able to get it delivered in two days, for free—so it showed up just in time for today’s rally. No extra charge.”
“Prime is totally worth the money,” he added.
Explaining that he and his fellow “resistance fighters” won’t stop until they see capitalism destroyed, he explained that they have a protest planned once a week for the entire summer. “We plan them out in a private Facebook group we have set up, but we don’t advertise them, so the capitalists never know when we’re going to pop up.”
With that, Hoffman bought one more coffee to go, neglecting to leave a tip. He then requested an Uber on his iPhone, and was gone.
