Jason Chaffetz Prepares For The Clinton Investigation By Passing WHISTLEBLOWERS PROTECTION LAW. by Pamela Williams Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Jason Chaffetz has prepared for the Hillary Clinton investigation, which begins today, January 12, 2017. The U.S. House of Representatives passed, as amended, H.R. 5790, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act of 2016 (404-0). The bill clarifies Congress’s intent to protect FBI whistleblowers who make disclosures to managers and supervisors in their chain of command, bringing the agency in line with most others in the federal government. Chaffetz will be investigating the Hillary Clinton email scandal, which the FBI investigated unable to obtain the cooperation of the Department of Justice. He is prepared for the battle with the DOJ, too. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) requesting information on the unusual restrictions placed on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in its criminal investigation of Secretary Clinton’s private email server. The restrictions were discovered in the course of the Committees’ review of the immunity agreements for former Clinton staffers Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson. It is clear to Chaffetz exactly what laws were broken during the investigation into Clinton’s unsecured email server. In fact, there were multiple laws broken by Clinton and her staff. Chaffetz also questions the fact that Clinton committed perjury during that investigation. FBI Director James Comey found his hands tied by the DOJ during that time. They would not allow warrants that Comey so desperately needed to investigate the unbelievable criminal acts of Clinton and her staff. Comey has also been accused of violation of the Hatch Act when he sent his letter to Congress informing them of the fact that he was reopening the investigation of Clinton’s emails. The FBI had been contacted by the NYPD alerting them during the time of investigating Anthony Weiner’s texting of an underage girl, they found pertinent emails of Hillary Clinton’s. The laptop shared by Weiner and his wife and aide of Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, had multiple emails between Hillary and Huma Abedin. It is a tangled web we weave when we seek to deceive, and that is what Clinton and her circle find themselves in…a web of their own making. If not for Jason Chaffetz that web might have gone untouched after the FBI finished in their investigation. However, Chaffetz is a good decent lawmaker, who wants to hold those accountable within the Hillary Clinton circle. Chaffetz knows that during the investigation, he will have to subpoena many who might be afraid to testify against Clinton. This especially applies to FBI whistleblowers and to most likely some in the NYPD. He is well prepared to protect those people, and I believe there will be many who come forward. Of course, there have been reports that many within the FBI were not happy with Director Comey’s decision that Clinton had no intent to do wrong, but was guilty of extreme carelessness in her handling of government materials. Most found this finding of lack of intention of wrongdoing an absolute miscarriage of justice. In my opinion, Hillary Clinton is guilty of the intention to commit a crime, as she had warnings and proof her unsecured email server was hacked, wide open to exploitation by invasive third parties, and she knew she was guilty of leaking highly delicate materials that could endanger our National Security. However, she intentionally chose to disregard all of the above for her own selfish convenience. She is most certainly guilty, and she is getting ready to discover that for herself. Not only is Clinton guilty, but I believe the DOJ/Loretta Lynch aided and abetted Clinton in her criminal acts by tying the hands of the FBI during their investigation of Clinton. I think that Director Comey was weak and scared of losing his job, so he went along with the DOJ. Attorney Loretta Lynch also had a clandestine meeting with Hillary Clinton’s husband Bill Clinton before the FBI concluded Hillary was not guilty of intent. Lynch has declared she is sorry for that meeting, but we know it is too late for that. You are not above the law, Lynch. None of you are, and you are going to discover that. Now that we have a new President coming into office, you will find you are not able to squirm yourself out of following the law. We the American people have suffered greatly as we watched what has played out before our very eyes, as all of these people broke the law and got away with it. It has made us feel powerless and violated, but that has not been properly recognized by anyone but President-elect Trump and Rep. Jason Chaffetz. According to a recent article in ElFinanciero.com, via Google Translator, President Enrique Peña Nieto has confirmed that, on his own, he will work to strengthen the wall at the U.S. border. This contradicts something he said later, stating, “Obviously, we have some differences with the next U.S. government, like the issue of a wall that Mexico of its own will not pay.” My guess is the Mexican president will work to make border controls on their own side much better in an effort to pacify Trump while at the same time making a stink about whatever wall Trump has erected on the U.S. side of the border. Now, as I stated when Trump first made this statement, I never expected Mexico to write a check and hand the cash over for the wall. From day one, I tried to explain that initially the cost would come from our tax dollars, but that money would eventually be recovered through better trade agreements and taxes imposed on our southern neighbor. When push comes to shove, the Mexicans really don’t have a choice. The United States will be fine without them, but the reverse surely is not true. If Mexico loses its ties to the United States and the tourist money, it would not take long for Mexico to become the next Greece. Nieto can posture all he wants, but he knows that, ultimately, it will not be U.S. money that pays for that wall. It may take a few years, but the money We the People front for this project will eventually be paid back in pesos and probably with a LOT of interest! Instead of arguing about it, Nieto would be much better served to work with Trump on the project and get this relationship started off on the right foot. Otherwise, he is in for a long four, possibly eight years. Ultimately, the wall will be built, so it is a matter of Nieto saving some face and Trump playing along. However, I would caution the Mexican president from pushing his bogus stance about the wall because we all know what happens when Trump gets pissed off at someone! Just go ask Hillary how that works out!

Police began their investigation after Arundel High School officials told them about a suspicious Twitter account. The account, named @KoolkidsKlanKkk, reportedly sent out a tweet that read, “We’re planning to attack tomorrow”. This account used similar language to a racial petition that had been passed around Anne Arundel High School by the “Kool Kids Klan”. Police worked with Twitter, and were able to identify the person who created the account and sent out the threatening tweet. That person has been identified as a 14-year-old African American female who attends Arundel High School. Authorities interviewed the girl while she was with her parents, and police say she admitted to creating the Twitter account and sending the threatening tweet. She was charged with a juvenile citation for disruption of school activities and released to her parents. “It makes me really upset. I can’t believe that students would write something like that,” said parent Michelle Fitzurka. “I kind of felt unsafe at the school and a little hurt,” said Taylor Nash, a freshman at Arundel High. The school district said all the students involved in that incident were disciplined, but the students were not identified, and to complicate an already tense situation, Wednesday night hundreds showed up for a meeting at the school, but some parents still had questions. “That is not good enough. What’s going to happen with the students that are still here?”said parent Tamara Hannah. “The federal law prohibits me from telling you exactly what the consequences were. But I will say to you that the school acted swiftly, they acted aggressively and they administered appropriated disciplinary action,” said Bob Mosier, chief communications officer of Anne Arundel Public Schools. As parents left the school, there’s hope the community will begin to heal. “I am very confident that Ms. Davenport and the staff at the school is going to do everything they can to keep all of our children safe,” said parent Sheri Paris. “I just hope that we can all come together, not just here at the school, but as a society,” said parent Lisa Smith. This account was created using similar language to a racist petition recovered by administrators at the school on January 6, 2017. The account was created under the name @KoolkidsKlanKkk and contained a tweet that read, “We’re planning to attack tomorrow”. Detectives were immediately notified and began an investigation. Working with Twitter and area communication vendors, detectives were able to identify the person responsible for creating the Twitter account and tweeting the threatening post. That person was identified as a 14 year old student who attends Arundel High School. The student was located and while in the company of her parents, interviewed by detectives. During the interview, the juvenile admitted that she created the Twitter account and sent the threatening tweet. She was charged on a juvenile citation with disruption of school activities and released to the custody of her parents. Suspect: 14 year old, black female

That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue,” he added. Then this morning the Guardian reported the FBI applied for a warrant to spy on the Trump team, and may have gotten one. The Guardian said it “has learned that the FBI applied for a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance (Fisa) court over the summer in order to monitor four members of the Trump team suspected of irregular contacts with Russian officials. The Fisa court turned down the application asking FBI counter-intelligence investigators to narrow its focus. Trump’s assets -- including commercial real estate, licensing businesses and cash holdings -- will be transferred to a trust under the control of his sons and Weisselberg before his inauguration on Jan. 20. The three will have full authority to run the Trump Organization for the duration of Trump’s presidency; the president-elect will step down from all of his executive positions. Trump will appoint an ethics advisor to vet all business transactions that could present a conflict of interest, according to a white paper released by Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. The Trump Organization will employ a chief compliance officer, whose job will be to ensure that the company does not exploit the presidency for profit. Trump claims to have cancelled all pending business deals, according to the white paper, and the Trump Organization will not enter into new foreign licensing agreements, or any deals with foreign officials or the U.S. government, while Trump is in office. All new domestic projects are to be reviewed by the ethics advisor, and Trump pledges to donate to the U.S. Treasury any profits from foreign governments patronizing his “hotels and similar businesses.” “President-Elect Trump will have no role in deciding whether The Trump Organization engages in any new deal, and he will be completely sequestered from any information regarding the Organization’s decisions,” the white paper reads. “In other words, he will learn about them only through the media, as the American People would.” While Trump said his plan goes beyond what he is required to do, the move disappointed some ethics experts, who have been calling on Trump to sell his assets and put the proceeds into a blind trust. Trump will apparently, through the trust, retain ownership of the Trump Organization companies and will benefit financially from their dealings. “Stepping back from running his business is meaningless from a conflict of interest perspective,” said U.S. Office of Government Ethics director Walter Schaub Jr. in remarks at the Brookings Institution on Wednesday, describing Trump’s plan as “wholly inadequate.” “He has all of the conflicts of interest that he had before,” Richard Painter, who served as chief ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush administration, told Forbes. “We don’t know who his business partners are, we don’t know who he owes.” Forbes estimates Trump to be worth $3.7 billion. More than half of his fortune -- nearly $2 billion -- is tied up in New York City real estate, including signature properties Trump Tower and 40 Wall Street. Trump also owns 30% of an office building, 1290 Avenue of the Americas, with publicly-traded Vornado Realty Trust and holds a 4% interest in Spring Creek Towers, a 46-tower government-subsidized housing complex in Brooklyn. Trump has an additional $1.2 billion worth of real estate and golf courses across the country. House Speaker Paul Ryan and members of President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team met January 9 to discuss the plan, including the controversial “border adjusted” provision. The general idea of the proposal is to tax imports at 20%, while exports are excluded from taxes in the form of rebates, said Chris Krueger, analyst at Cowen and Company. The border adjustment is arguably the most controversial component of the Republican plan to revamp the corporate tax code, he said. Detractors think it is a regressive consumer tax. U.S. corporations are taxed on their worldwide profits at 35%, among the highest in the world. Even ahead of the Ryan meeting, interest in the tax was gaining ground. The plan is a “remarkably good deal” that could amount to $120 billion in new revenue to the government courtesy of foreign companies, said noted Harvard economist Martin Feldstein, in an interview with MarketWatch on the sidelines of the American Economic Association meeting. The tax is meant to create incentives for domestic production, in part because companies also would no longer be able to reduce their taxable income by deducting their overseas expenditures. Feldstein said the plan was opposed by the import-dependent retail and oil industries, which fear prices are going to go up. But its broader impact can’t be ignored. “It’s as if the rest of the world will say, ‘we owe you an extra $120 billion a year,’” Feldstein said What opponents overlook is that the adjustment will result in a stronger dollar DXY, -0.29% that would cut their costs, offsetting any higher costs from the adjustment, he said. With foreign companies as the “net losers,” it is not clear how foreign governments might retaliate, however, he said. Their opposition will be hamstrung, he said, because the effect of the border-tax adjustment is to give the U.S. a value-added tax that many other countries already have. “So what are they going to say, you can’t have a VAT?” he asked. Foreign companies will likely say it is not a VAT “and we can argue about that,” he said. Feldstein said he was optimistic the plan would pass the Republican Congress.
