17 this morning. The weather has been weird. It was 73 last week and now it is freezing. We had snow squalls yesterday. The sun is out right now and it may hit 40.

Confused! March should be below freezing and blizzards..and was when I was young. Today is to be 51, cloudy and south breeze. I hope so and it melts the 6 inches of snow I got the other day. Tomorrow is supposed to be 61 and the rest of the week in 40-50s. The geese are on the river and so are the cranes. I heard an owl singing two nights ago. So they all think it is spring.

Ridiculous!
It's been in the high 70's here during the day since January. We were cheated out of a decent Winter. The hail storms we normally have in April were in February. Horrific Thunderstorm this morning at 4am, lots of rain. Received an emergency weather alert just an hour ago warning of high wind and that we have a fire ban until 8pm. Oh and we are supposed to get snow this Sunday. Over a month of summer weather and now Snow?
Yeah, RIDICULOUS is the right word. And holy roller conservative church folk don't think global warming is real. The apocalypse is coming because their Bible says so and nothing to do with taking shit for granted and continuing to waste earths natural resources at an even faster rate than ever before, people have nothing to do with us not knowing one season from the other and marking the 'end of days'.

Went through two days of high winds. Lucked out on farm, but other places had lines down, trees down and fires. 14 Semis blew over. All I got was a tarp that split down the center and left shreds all over. Oh well..it was ripped and the birds will like all the nesting material. The lawn windmill flew apart and found the second blade in a pine tree. Good thing no one was standing there. And the tree that I heard fall in on the cliff and was dead already. Most plastic torn that needed replacing anyway. Big windmill as usual, kicked out of the wind to save itself. Wish all my need to do raking had blown off...sigh...

Mother Nature & her fury. 70 last week. This week is blistering cold, 20 degrees, very windy & snowing. We are expecting a snow storm about 18 inches of snow where I live.
I am 130 pounds & the wind is blowing my skinny body around like it was nothing. The cold blast of wind hitting against my face, it's bitterly cruel. I can't feel my face, my hands & fingers when I am outside.
But overall the whole winter was very warm, mostly in the 40's degrees weather. Mother Nature is showing us what she can do in an instant. It would be 70 in the morning & 20 at night time. The temperature dropped drastically at night. So you have to carry a sweatshirt & put it on at night time around 5 pm. Wear it under your jacket to keep warm. Because it's too hot to wear the sweatshirt in the morning in 70 degrees weather. But after 5pm it gets really cold, like in the 20's & windy.

The overnight storm missed us so it was a nice sunny, but cold day, for the St Patrick's Day Parade to go on as scheduled. Rainy now and until tomorrow. Still over a foot of snow on the ground.
