Bosh and wade were impressive, but my question is why the HELL didn't they play like that in the finals? We do have to put some perspective on this game, Cole was on fire tonight, in Miami with Beal not playing. I still have Miami the #5 seed.

The dude is legit, and LeBron could've used him and Miller in the finals. Napier it good too. He killed it last year in the tournament and I expect him to take most of Chalmers minutes by playoff time.

Vic are you coming around to the idea of trading Kobe to the Knicks? Kobe's head probably explodes if he is in LA the whole season, man lol. Kobe's gonna be cool with a trade after about 10 more games of this. No one wants to end their career on the worst team in the conference, and that's exactly what they are.
I'd be willing to bet Phil would trade for Kobe. Just assuming you can sign marquee free agents? How did that go for the Lakers?
Unlike the Lakers the Knicks are moving into the right direction already in terms of supporting cast members that look attractive they can either trade cough Jr smith or Iman shumpert. Then you have their young prospects in Larkin and Tim Hardaway jr.
Couple that with the fact that amare the guy that has handcuffed them into mediocrity the last 3 years comes off the books for them.
said it before nyk future looks alot better Phil hasn't even had cap space but has gotten good role players like Jose cauldron and stealing lacking from Dallas was genius.
Overall trading for a 36 year old kobe does not make a whole lot of sense it doesn't make them better then Cleveland and their nemesis Bulls who seem to always have their number... plus it would basically be a waste of what Phil did this summer in terms of setting them up to get a 2nd star.
If they were to target someone it should be mislap

I agree with Shaq that it'll take a good 10-20 games to get acclimated. The spacing is bad right now looking like every time LeBron drives, he runs into 3 Knicks players. Not to throw Blatt under the bus, but I'm not liking his rotations. Either way its game 1 of 82 and it's good to see the king back in Cleveland!

All in all it was a fun but sloppy game to watch.There's a learning curve for both teams, the knicks had some success going out of the triangle, whereas Cleveland had some success posting LeBron and Love in the mid-post. In my opinion Blatt needs to find more minutes for Miller and Haywood while the Knicks have to learn that offense. Looking forward to the game in Chicago tomorrow night though Cleveland might get blown off the court.

Like I've said numerous times, I had NO REASON to post here after the finals, I am a football and basketball fan. After the finals are over the only sport going is baseball and I watch zero baseball. Its just too slow paced for me. Even if your guys Wade and Bosh showed up and helped LeBron win the finals, instead of being absolute NO SHOWS I would've done the same... Bro, I have forgotten more basketball then you will EVER KNOW. I played the game unlike you, and I watch every game I have time for. Their not overrated but people think their unstoppable cause lebron is back there is false. Knicks did look good jr smith looking better then he did last season however their offense in crunch time was a bit stagnant they went away from the triangle so they still need to work on that.
Side note sucks for okc with westbrook fracturing his hand might be a golden opportunity for golden state or the clips to get that 2nd seed.

I worry when shooters are off esp doubling melo and the rest on court are cold...i expect this to happen more on road ...i did not see the triangle much in second half when knicks got back into the game but if future is triangle then use it...but if they're in triangle and they dont score or get an big apple turnover get down court to play defense by all means,,.

They're still unfamiliar with the schemes of the triangle melo should operate in the mid post that's where jordan and kobe was effective. He did that in the 1st half but they went away from it almost completely in the 2nd half I would like to see them feature Tim hardaway but jr smith was hot last night so I can see why they went with him.

If you think back to the HEAT's first year together, they started out 8-8 and LeBron had 8 turnovers that first game. They ended up winning 21 of the next 22 and the rest is history. Cavs fans shouldn't be worried at all, even if they get blown out tonight there's no need to panic. Its gonna take 10-20 games to gel.
What a shitty start for Thunder nation, Idk if they'll even make the playoffs now with those injuries. Sun's will be coming hard for that 8 spot and who knows if Durant/Westbrook make it back in time to not be about 10 games under .500.

Wow was it was a good game in Chicago!? Rose got hurt but Hinrich/Brooks filled the void. Cleveland shot under 40% but yes you can win with rebounding, kids! Kyrie and Love were terrible offensively but they pulled it out. What a difference a night makes.

Lakers are getting killed by schedule makers. Steph Curry and the Warriors are up next tonight. Did anybody see the highlight of LA huddling last night totally unaware of the Clippers inbound to Griffin for the dunk? 
Games I'm most interested in tonight are DAL/N.O. & MEM/CHA. Of course I'll keep my eye on the Suns going for 3-0 too!
The Cavs' next game isn't until Tuesday @Portland, that should be a good one!

The knicks play charlotte next then wizzards. ..two improved teams...that's four tough teams right off for 1-1 knicks..

That is a pretty tough slate of games to start, sorp.
My Suns were blown off the court tonight to the damn Utah Jazz. Gobert and Favors were BEASTS.
