There are many factors when it comes to attraction and all of us are different. For many the idea woman is thin or athletic with a small but well rounded rear, and that does not describe the typical black woman. Also black women are less inclined to date white men so there are less to choose from. In the end men can only date and marry the women that are willing to go out with them. With in my circle of acquaintances there are only two single black women and one of them is already dating a white man, the other is very attractive and many men of all colors approach her. Women are really the ones that choose which men even have a chance so if there is a disparity in the percentages it is because less black women choose white men. And as an aside my son married a black woman and it was her family that had the problem with the interracial relationship.

And white men with black women in any great numbers is relatively new, so getting to the point of marriage would be relatively new too, and not enough time has manifested to be any significant numbers in this, especially considering that the time period for this type of interractial to finally come about, came at a time when as you can see by the majority of the people here....are opposed to the idea of marriage, plus its more with the younger croud, and many of them are forgoing marriage, till their education is over and careers intact. If black men didn't beat and humiliate their women for even thinking about dating outside the box for so many decades, and this new found phenom of black women seeking white men thats recently become the case....would have happened much sooner, and the numbers in marriages would be closer to what they are in other interracial situations. Then you have to factor in this too. If a white woman marries a black man, she may pick up some flack...but the worse that can happen is, some white men may call her a few names. Reverse this....and the white man who marries a black woman, has to look over his shoulder all the time...because likely some black guy will pop him off with a .45. Why is that???? But black women just honestly need to accept that it'll never be as strong as black men & white women. Black women & white men just had a too f**ked up history. And men in general are too focused on their image or how they would be seen in society. It's 2014 & they still can't even get over our damn hair ! Black men in general still think that kinky curly/ wavy hair is BEAUTIFUL no matter on what race. And a lot go crazy over a woman with curves or extra meat. Just like a lot white men want a girl who works out daily, a lot black men want a woman who cooks daily. Plus white women are more likely to have their own mind towards people outside their race. And not just listen to the tv, web, or their buddies
