Ok. So they think 4957 is actually 5000 and closed our garage again. Guess they cant count. Spring is here, time to force the old garage doors open and let the fresh air in and sweep out the Asian beetles and get more ambitious than all winter.

Joe welded the patch on the frame on Thur. He does nice work. Said if he could bring up his other welder,be smoother. But, at least the frame wont break now nor drop the spring end off. He will cut another patch for passenger side at home and do that one too. Not as bad as drivers side. I started to sand down the frame. When I get into town next Tues will buy rust erase and rustoleum paint to do the frame. Then next step is assemble the box back on. I said do I get the cab corners now...no hurry..easy to take box back off. He is going to try to get the shock arm thing functioning again. Otherwise will add on real shocks. I like it as stock as we can keep it.

Got the mule gased up & loaded on the trailer put windsheld on the back seat & put it back on after we get to the poker run, the ride is about 45 miles long.
So ready to go just an Ice stop for cooler along the way. Ride is near the river from Monowi to boat landing, then Gross NE, then Bristow, Lynch, and back to Monowi for last card & supper This is my 1st 4 wheeler poker run, cus I'm old me thinks

I know what you mean about time. I cant figure out what happens to the first week of any month. It is the first. Then it is the 3rd. And then it is the 10th! WTH?!!
We got the Lincoln fired up. So I drove down the road a half mile and then told Joe he should try it. So we head back and I said you can keep going up to the other corner if you want. So he did and then hit the brakes and....uh....NO brakes. Shit! We got back to the house and checked. Blew a passenger front line. sigh....so much for a "new" car and find with lots of work done already. So next week instead of the 49 he gets to work on Mark. I offered to take it in but he said no, he will do the brake. At least it went at home and not in town. That is why I never trust a car til driven around the farms first for a bit.
I need to post stuff again for sale. Like Joe says..why leave it for someone else to toss out cause they think it is nothing.

Had a ball yesterday at the poker run, we definatly had the slowest 4x4 their and it got realy slow in the wet clay roads, was muded up so tight could barly move at all. but once past that crap about 5 miles of it things went better just leave 1st and get to the next card stop last but the days view was awesome just beautifull the hole trip.
But it is going to take a long time to power warsh the mule clean again

Just saw in paper. Some 20 year old punk got arrested for his upteenth DUI/drug/speeding. He was doing 100 and went between two bikes. Ran the gal off the road. She held the bike for a couple hundred yards before ditching it. When cops got there, husband was holding her and she had skin off leg.( why dont bikers get smart and dress right!) They got report of a car blowing through a stop sign with tire gone off front. Caught up to kid in trailer park. Car left was messed up and wheel ground off. He faces 43 years. I have a better idea. Just shoot him and toss body for fish food!
Hot Rod mag has an ad for Automotion Carshow in the Dells. Wow..show is getting better and better. May 20-21..Sat and Sun. City was talking in winter about how they need to get their heads around the traffic and cars and get it figured out. One way would get it off the strip and out in country more!!

Up this morning to go and pay the lady for the tractor & machinery I agreed to buy last night on the phone so she can get a early start to her husban who is in a care facility way out in Iowa. Said she woun't be back till next monday.
The tractor looks kinda like a ford 3000 but was made in India,Romania,China, ect. HP anything from 38 to 45 does have front wheel drive roll bar with shade cannopy & the lady said it was a 2007 Farmtrac 545 DTC model
with farmtrac 5345 Loader With that is to come a mower, snowblower, 3pt blade chains & other little things
The tractor is a 3 cillinder Desel

am I buying junk? I realy do not know I did a search but it was imposible to tell just that if i need a part it may need to come from over seas

So you can turn into one of those old guys who drive the tractor to the bar because they lost their license?
Dad had a poured cement garage done, 2 1/2 car. Over the years the threshold on the one double door rusted off its bolts. My husband bought a hole maker that shot .22s. And when he tried to put a new hole in for a new bolt..it didnt even phase the concrete. Only material that hardens more and more with age.
The farmhouse is double brick in the main part with concrete overlay instead of plaster. Fun to hang a picture.lol.

The FFA boy's were great help yesterday. They dug 14 post holes & filled them with big heavy post, moved old tractors around in my old shop so could work on my 1918 14-28 Oil Pull tractor and one volinteared to strip the motor head down for removal, Had to remove the carberator & valve rocker arm ect. They cleaned up a lot of the concrete out side my shop so my new snow blower & mower & blade also new post hole digger can set on concrete
and the removed the new digger from tractor & put the 3pt hich back as it was before the digger was mounted on. just a few of the big things they did for me and many smaller ones as well
