To most men, sex is just an activity that is very enjoyable. They do not have the emotional ties that woman commit to in the same act. Therfore, it would have nothing to do with sex on the first, second or third date. It would depend of the personality of the woman and if they are actually a match.

Well, I think it depends on the personalities. did they really enjoy each other's company besides the sex? If I had sex with a woman on the first date, and I really liked her, maybe I'll ask her out again. (honestly!)

for unknown reason i wanted to answer.
this is from old fart,who learned nothing over the years.
before i send an e-mail i read what woman want and if i see---romantic,dinner with candles
and other stuff which may run my tab into 200$ area i say to myself--stay clear of
this bs,you not that smart to handle.
ladies,if my first date going cost me 200$ i rather take a prostitute...
no,not because i will have sex but because i will be with her without pressure
to impress her;yes,i buy her time and i dont have to be smart or rich or pretty.
yes,man and woman do evaluate each other on first date but the bottom line is--
woman make decision about sex not man.
men dont like to be under pressure and if it cost money it is pressure and as we live
in USA men expect something in return.

I think it has alot to do with what both are looking for, if they went to the trouble of setting up a date and it went to the point of actually having sex for whatever reason then it must have had some kind of spark.
Weather there is a second date well that would be up to both of them.
 Myself if I am having sex on the first date there will definately be a second.

I don't believe a woman should on the first date! That would be respect for herself! I a woman did with me then it would most likely be a one night stand! Thats what i would think she would want for the first date!

I guess that would depend on the vibes you get from the women. Its not a pirioty for me but if its there and protection is with why not. Doesn't mean it would be the last or mean it will continue. Depends on if we clicked or not

It has happened several times, and yes, I did call her and send roses. (a gentleeman always does) We had such a good timer, and one thing led to another, and we thought enough of each other to let it happen, with no regrets !

Is it not why we date ? I mean sure it may not be the main reason we date, but with alot of surfing the dating sites a little chemistry and even more posting of profiles you find that person you are intrested in .With luck on your side a connection ,eventually if you havent you know you willSo why put off till tomorrow what you can experience today.It may not even matter when it happens as much as it matters who its with.
