I picked strawberries too. Got paid 60 cents for 8 quarts of strawberries.
Whole families of Mexicans worked where I did with my momther and brother as a child.
They had to get the kids to work too to survive.

Why does a cat seem to prefer the back corners of a wing back chair as their scratching post? In my junk shopping trips I have seen this many times. A couple days ago I was in a thrift store and spotted this very beautiful wing back chair. Checked it out and it was so clean it did not appear to have ever been set on. Checked the back to see that it was OK, and it was completely ruined with cat scratches.

Sorry, you are wrong...I criticize both parties when necessary. It seems both parties were involved in Fast and Furious, but Bush's initiative program had a different name so Obama got called out for linking it to his program, which started the whole thing. This is a short link...
Our ruling
Obama said that the Fast and Furious program began "under the previous administration." That is not the case; Fast and Furious did begin during the time Obama held office.
Another similar program, called Operation Wide Receiver, did happen during the Bush administration, and a recent inspector general’s report criticized both operations as ineffective and seriously flawed.

Last night... Live TV interview of patrons of a casino bar, somewhere in Arizona...
Interviewer talked to about 10 people... All donny dump voters...
Not one of them, still sounded excited about the job donny is doing...
All of them showed some sort of reluctance, for how he is doing...

Trump is giving voters in coal country a real taste of the deregulation they cheered for on the campaign trail. It comes in the form of the repeal of a clean water rule that he signed on Thursday.
Coal mining waste can now be freely dumped in rivers and streams that feed into the drinking water supply of nearby residents, and the larger bodies of water they connect to. The toxins include iron, copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum and tungsten, among others, according to the EPA.
Trump claimed that protecting clean drinking water supplies creates an unnecessary expense for coal mining companies. According to The Hill, Trump said environmental rules are, “a major threat to your jobs.”
Trump’s appointment of Scott Pruitt to head the EPA signals that eliminating clean water regulations is only the beginning of an all-out assault on environmental protections.

March 13, 1992 saw a blizzard hit the country after a very unseasonal warm winter.
My feelings won't be hurt....some of the nasty bacterias, germs, viruses, and insects needs to be killed off by a good, solid freeze -- but what do I know -- Ill stay warm, regardless.

Many people are pondering how they could have been so weak...
He called Hillary Clinton a crook.
I bought it.
Then he paid $25 million to settle a fraud lawsuit.
He promised to have Mexico pay for the wall.
I bought it.
Now US taxpayers will be.
He promised to "lock her up".
I bought it.
No investigation was even started.
He said he'd release his tax returns.
I bought it.
He hasn't, and now says he never will.
He said he'd divest himself from his businesses to avoid conflicts of interest.

He is still heavily involved in his businesses and has more conflicts of interest than can even be counted.
He said Clinton was in the pockets of Goldman Sachs.

He then proceeded to put 7 Goldman Sachs executives in positions of power in his administration.
He said he'd surround himself with all the best and smartest people.
I bought it.
He nominated an anti-EVERYTHING in Mike Pence for Vice President. A white supremacist Steve Bannon is his most trusted confidant. Russian business partner Rex Tillerson is Secretary of State.
He said he'd be his own man, and owe nobody.
I bought it.
He then let Betsy DeVos buy a cabinet seat for $200m.
He said he knew more about strategy and terrorism than the Generals did.
I bought it.
He promptly gave the green light to a disastrous raid in Yemen, against all Generals' advice. This raid resulted in the deaths of a Navy SEAL, an 8-year old American girl, and numerous civilians. The actual target of the raid escaped. So much worse than Benghazi!
He said Hillary Clinton couldn't be counted on in times of crisis.
I bought it.
He didn't even bother overseeing the Yemen raid. He was tweeting about the New York Times and sleeping during the actual raid.
He called CNN, the Washington Post and the New York Times "fake news" and said they were his enemy.
I bought it.
He now gets all his information from Breitbart and InfoWars.
He called Barack Obama "the vacationer-in-Chief". He promised to never be the kind of president who took cushy vacations on the taxpayer's dime.
I bought it.
In 4 weekends in office, he has spent 3 of them at the Mar-a-Lago estate at a tax payers cost of $3m per weekend!

Amid all the hand-wringing over Republican plans to eviscerate Medicare and Medicaid and repeal the Affordable Care Act, it shouldn’t be overlooked that the GOP has the knives out for Social Security too.
The latest reminder comes from Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Tex., chairman of the Ways and Means Social Security subcommittee. Johnson on Thursday uncorked what he termed a “plan to permanently save Social Security.”
Followers of GOP habits won’t be surprised to learn that it achieves this goal entirely through benefit cuts, without a dime of new revenues such as higher payroll taxes on the wealthy. In fact, Johnson’s plan reduces the resources coming into the program by eliminating a key tax --another way that he absolves richer Americans of paying their fair share, while increasing the burdens of retirement for almost everyone else.
No one voted for massive cuts to Social Security, nor to end the program as we know it.

I'm bad when someone pulls beside me at a stop light and their car is vibrating from RAP. I keep a country music station programed into my radio and I just hit it to the max volume. It's made some of them turn the volume down.
