I love this idea. A new twist on re-purposing which is the latest thing to do these days. Saw a dog bed made from an end table the other day and was painted in the new chalk colors. Table was turned upside down, drawer also turned upside down so it could be used for storage of dog toys, painted the blue and finished with a brown/blue cushion. Looked like a 4 post bed but with the height of the legs it appeared to be missing the canopy. Was a neat item.

History of Daylight Saving Time — DST
Daylight Saving Time (DST) is used to save energy and make better use of daylight. It was first used in 1908 in Thunder Bay, Canada.
Benjamin Franklin suggested, rather jokingly, to wake up earlier to save candles.
DST normally adds 1 hour to standard time with the purpose of making better use of daylight and conserving energy. This means that the sunrise and sunset are one hour later, on the clock, than the day before.
