Fingers crossed as well as toes and eyes this morning. Running a friend to his oncologist for the 2nd step in a white blood cell treatment. He had a port put in his shoulder/chest area on Thursday, the 3 hour blood draw on Friday, and they will inject the treated cells today. The other two things last week went OK but don't know today how the injection will go with possible side effects. So far strong and has been able to handle treatments, but there comes the time. Just hoping it's not yet but things aren't looking very good. Wish him luck today.

Alreay been there, done that. I'm certified. Perhaps not as a doctor but certified crazy. LOL. Guess I decided a long time ago that my purpose in life was to be there for others when the world walked out and this is truely one of those cases. I'm all this guy has.

Izz here dear. Kind of. I do on line surveys. And I see why young people are broke. Some are tech questions. And they list maybe 20 things and ask do you subscribe to any. And then list movie or TV channels you may pay for. How many Apps have you bought? How many memberships do you pay for. How many tech type appliances and such do you own? How often do you order out or eat out. What about your Smart phone plan? How much do they spend in a month anyway? $400? 500? Then add in those $4-5 lattes two or three times a day, lunch out and maybe a $60 carton of cigs. and I can see why they are always broke.
Fuzz said he would like to get a bankroll of fake $100s. And then peel one off in front of his co-workers and lit it up and tell them this is what you are burning. HUH? Yep..those cigarettes is just what you are doing. And then they call in and say they cant get to work today because they have no money to buy gas for their car. WTH???   So if you dont COME to work..how the hell do you think you will GET money for gas. Give me a break!

Anyone want an Easter kitten? Ma cat had 3 two days ago. And even had them in the cat box by the wood stove. I cant believe she only had two. She was HUGE! I told her if she didnt pop soon, they would be crawling out her nose. Joe named one BW for black and white. I had intended to kill them and leave her only one to avoid milk fever. But, I am getting soft in my old age and soft in the head. Welll...there are only 3! I told Joe no names and as soon as eating on their own, an ad goes up and they go down the road. And if no one takes them I will be one ticked off idiot for not eliminating them! I know what happens on a farm when too many cats. I wonder what happened to the birth control pills for cats they used to have long back.

I'm thinking the veternarians figured it out real quick that neutering and spading was more profitable than selling birth control pills, thus not available now.

Tell me about it Star. I wimped out. Wont be able to on the next two batches. Each ma gets to keep one only. I am not going to get overrun and diseases. The female is almost all beige and eyes are open already!! The two males not. Ears still closed. Starting to fluff. I am purposely NOT playing with them. Handle every other day. Once they are active I will tame and train them so someone will want them. I hope. If I cant find homes..then what do I do? As far as barn kittens go..hoping tenants dogs still like to eat kittens and solve the problem on the ones who get hidden away til too big.
I was worried about Tumbler. He was keeping one hind leg up. But, after three days, he is back to putting weight on it. So no idea if mule stepped on him, jumped on it or got into it with other cats. They play like they want to rip each others heads off. Not fun if laying on top of me when they decide to play. YOW that is ME idiots!
The worst part about no more kittens is what they would become. Of the 4 Steamboat had..each is so different. Two Spot has ADHD like me and never sits still for long unless asleep. She is a rubber and kneader all the time. Tumbler I call squishy cat. He is laid back, sleeps for hours and is fatter and fluffiest and super squeezable. And takes it all in..luv me more. Butch is the lion king. Taller and longer than them all and a tail that goes on forever. He is macho. Lover some times and stalker the rest. Talks and answers you. Indigo is the delicate lady. She talks and is shy and will cuddle. Steamboat has been shaped by kids. She varies from lover to I want out now.
Hard to imagine how multiple births from same parents can be so unique and different. One thing they are all good at. SHEDDING! I wear black mostly. Had black dogs. Now mostly white cats! In three seconds I am wall to wall white hair. They like to lay on the couch between my legs. I appreciate a white hairy crotch!! Thank you very MUCH! Where is the damn masking tape again!!

I purchased a pet hair roller. It has a rough covering over two rollers and works magic with stray pet hair. Supposed to use until the clear plastic cap gets full, then toss. Nope, because I don't like disposables. I hate to toss something that really works. I remove the hair with the curved end of a thin wire. It really works like magic picking up pet hair.

I have one similar that is a single. also a sponge that rolls hair on carpets. There are role players that dress as Furries. I am growing my own costume. lol.
I cant figure out what is going on with my photos. I added two of my last costume and want to change profile pic. But, when I go to photos all I get is this pic has been removed or under review. No photos show at all. And I think I have to be in photos to edit them. DH screw up as usual I guess. I try profile and then photos and get the same crap. Idiots. Guess they just want everyone payers.

Want fun? Sit with cat outside in breeze. Gently pluck fur and watch the drift fly away. How come ONE cat hair will always find your face and become impossible to get rid of?
Spent a half hour following a female cat being sly til she finally went to loft of barn in hay and found her new kittens. Left her two...sigh. One male but the other was a female. But a calico that people like. I sure hope so. One more cat to whelp? I need to get tougher.

Good news. Fortunately kittens are desirable. Especially when the Humane society puts on a ton of rules and charges big bucks for adoptions. Now the trick is to take the kittens to town to meet people. That way they dont know where farm is so they cant dump them back when they grow out of cute.

I will never forget or forgive myself for blocking a mother starling from her nest. This happened about 25 years ago and it's still a sad mamory even if the starlings are like vermin. Anyway, had a knot hole in a tree near my deck, so was constantly washing bird poop. She was nesting in the tree then messing on my deck. So, I blocked her from the nest with a plastic garbage bag. She would land on the branch near her nest and I swear she would cry. Her voice was so pitiful. Then I learned later after removing the plastic bag that the eggs had hatched, so she was crying for her babies. I've never forgiven myself for that.

I shot a possum long ago. And then..WTH..why is her belly moving. Oh crap..babies in pouch. So got a bucket of water and tried to drown them. Couldnt take them struggling so hauled back out and shot them. Wasted .22s but better.
Steamboats 3 are now mobile. Starting to handle and feed so I can find home for them. Two Spots are getting there soon too. Poor Indigo has gotten really weird since losing hers. She hangs in barn mostly. Comes up to eat and leaves. She will be PG soon and hope that makes her happy.
SBs kittens made it up the cement steps. Now to go down...

I looked up teh making of the movie the Revenant. Man they earned their keep. They filmed in S. America cause Canada ended up with the hottest winter and no snow when they wanted it. Everyone froze their ca-nukcans off. DeCaprio who is a vegetarian tried the fake buffalo liver and said the gelatin didns "bleed" right so actually bit into a real liver. And the gagging he did was not acting. lol. No word as to whether he really ate that fish raw.
The horse was a dummy and its guts were latex. That was obvious. The bear skin would get wet when he had to do take after take, then freeze and weighed 100 pounds on him. They did wear dry suits under neath for the water scenes. Filming was pulled once for a week cause the minus 30 was getting to the actors. And the guy who gets pulled naked on his belly was provided with a sheet of plastic. Whoo whooo thanks!
It is one super movie for sure. My kind of movie. And I am way happier being a re-enactor buckskinner than living it for real.

That does it. Where do you go..hunt in field? Tossed her outside and dusted her with anti flea and tick! The others arent that bad. Not letting her in and sack out if she is infested that badly!

Heard on radio it is due to the mild winter. Great. We get nicer winters and summers infested with more insects. I decided I should go soak in tub last night. And submerged my whole head except face for awhile. Hopefully IF I missed any ticks, I would drown them!

Tenants buds stopped yesterday to take some seedlings. sigh..barely made a dent. One is beau of local sister. He said looks like they will get stuck clearing house. Two sisters are out of state and head back after funeral. Eldest brother got hit after he screwed up two other estates and has bowed out. Looks like I get to deal with much of it. So nice to have family. BULL! Sure though when the money gets distributed, they will be Johnny on the spot!
If I hadnt checked, seedlings would be dead and the stupid gold fish in the house. I skipped feeding him yesterday so have to go in house to feed him today. At least the bud took the two dogs right away so I dont have to take care of them.
Anyone want a damn fish??????

I was contemplating batter and fried. lol. They took him..tank still here but dont have to feed IT.
They have made big headway on house. Getting empty of stuff..furniture will be the big thing. Took the Cadi today too. Then the fun of the sheds and rest of his vehicles. Then start washing the house down! They paid the rent for June so that is good. And his electric to me. The more of him that is gone, the easier it is to be in the house. Getting back to mine again.
I swear that guy had more clothes and shoes than a woman! I said what was he? A centipede?
The wake and funeral is Sat. And the paper said one of the burn victims died so the count is now 4 dead. And yet the company says they are one big family and workers will get paid. Of course they will have to do community work for it til plant is up again. Unless they are in the hospital yet.

He was the forklift one that was buried til the end of the day. Family saw him prior to funeral and decided to do a closed casket. He basically was flattened like a pancake. Nose and jaw was rebuilt but they decided better to remember him as he was, not patched up. All bruised also so ton of makeup on him.
Family was here again yesterday clearing out stuff and cleaning. Now the youngest black sheep brother is being his usual ass. So they cant use the lawyer...conflict. So he took them down the street to a good probate and is glad to be out of it..too much disagreement. That jerk off brother wants a city lawyer. The other 3 said not driving all that distance. And bro says not that sister for executor. Lawyer out says no judge would EVER make jerky the exec. Lawyer is going to become my tenant and said if I dont want him now...I said once stuff is cleared out, probably never see tenants family again so I have no issues with him moving in here. He was Bobs best friend since school.
Jerk has been told to get here to sort and pick. Says too busy. How about his sisters and brother!! I said he said Friday because hoping by then all the WORK will be done.
Mom said it right..family might not be a good thing. Makes me glad I dont have one anymore.

One sis came from AZ, one with husband from Tennessee and one is near the farm. One brother came with wife from near by town where they live. All getting along for the most part. And the brother who is a pain is the one no one wants to see. Bob had co-signed a loan and ended up paying the thing. He said he was writing it AND the brother off.The family said they are trying to be decent to him, but all I see is he will just take it to be a bigger ass.
It would have been so nice if Bob had changed beneficiaries from mom when she died. And written a will!! The nearer sis did mention that loan to jerk at least.
Funny thing happened at grave. The bar fluesy that Bob dated casually showed up. She took a purple flower from arrangement and placed it on the casket. The gal who loved and lived with Bob for 8 years til they split piped up and said he hated purple. And the wind dumped it off. One sis was being nice, picked it up and put again and it blew off again. They placed red roses and they stayed.
I heard Bob was trying to dump the bar fly. She told the lawyer friend..Oh Bob said he was giving me his Cadillac. Lawyer said not in writing, wont happen.
Geeze lady! Joe spotted her at the wake when she walked in where we were sitting in lobby. She had on a black biker cap and must have been thigh high black stockings. One was below the knee and one up.Ok..slut statement or fell down? A few minutes later she was back in view with them both off.
She had to have called the TV to do the interview cause no other way they would have found her. None of the family nor I knew a thing about her.
I heard she heard the name of the eldest brother at the grave and pounced. Funny thing was it was guy with same name. Then she heard sisters name and pounced on her. Oh heard so much about you. And sis looked at her and said.."funny. I never heard a WORD about you."
