Auto mechanics 101 will be held at the computer lab. Haven't heard from hunters what is up. And dont care. Dont miss getting up in the dark, putting on half a closet, waddling out in the cold dark dragging a rifle, sitting on a log listening to noises that turn out to be damn squirrels....waiting for sunrise...and waiting for deer that never show. Worst is getting one, gutting it,dragging it, loading it, hauling it, unloading it, hanging it, skinning it, cutting it up....So..THAT was FUN? I see now here no more need to load and haul. Go on Iphone or computer to put in tag number and register. Damn DNR doesnt want to do anything to earn their keep. And assume EVERYONE has a Smartphone and computer and internet. Especially in the back woods. But, some taverns and stations will offer theirs so they keep the business. At lest saves washing blood off the trucks paint.

Gramps may rate. Otherwise I have discovered when a hunter asks if you want venison..you get a neck roast or legs! I dont care for venison anymore anyway so pass. Only way it is good is fast fried with onions and eaten hot. I gave up gun hunting long ago..prefer truck. Although once when we were heading home..husband behind me in his truck....a big buck ran across. When we got home, husband said didnt you see it. I said yep. But you never hit the brakes I saw. Nope...you also didnt see the plow come up to full ramming height. LOL. I was on the gas..that buck ran so fast his a** passed his head! Rats..missed...

For those who never saw any of the Burma Shave signs, here is a quick lesson in our history of the 1930s and 1940s. Before there were interstates, when everyone drove the old 2 lane roads, Burma Shave signs would be posted all over the countryside in farmers' fields. They were small red signs with white letters. Five signs, about 100 feet apart, each contain 1 line of a 4 line couplet.....And the obligatory 5th sign advertising Burma Shave, a popular shaving cream.

They need them back. Maybe todays drivers would watch the road. I can see why people hit deer. They freeze their eyes to the front. Never look in ditches nor behind them! I heard since they raised interstate and some highways in WI to 70, the accident rate has increased 13%. Oh the State boys say...could just be more drivers on roads with cheaper gas. Yeah..right. I argue with Joe..he says it is the slower drivers that cause them. Not if they stay far right. I see when speed was 65, many doing 75. Raise to 70. now going 85. I hear cops after speeders and they are doing 100. My advice..buy a plane or jet if you are in such a damn hurry! And then they cram a cell in their face to text and a computer screen on the dash to watch! I have enough trouble changing bands on my radio and seeing what station it is!

Awwww..are the poor bull balls shrunk up against his backbone? hee hee hee..try the 19 last night here.
Friend sent and email that another bud had sent him that the old scrap yard in town is down to 4 employees and may close. That is in addition to the other one who will accept only trailer loads now. Scrap is 30 a ton and everyone is sitting on it so no business in town. So what do we do if they both close..haul 50 miles or more. Not worth it for tin or aluminum cans. So guess the land turns into a dump again and ditches fill with metal as well as tires.

Cushman had their own motor, cast iron flat head called a Husky largest and best was the 8 hp from 1961 to 65 they also had a 9hp over head valve aluminum motor called OMC
I think this meant Outboard Marine Co.?

Scooters look like a good way to fall over. On a bike, feet are on either side and ready. Scooters have both feet on wide platform and rider is not ready. Pass on them thankie. Insurance is dropped to comp on truck and battery out. Call today and see if they have fuel pump for plow truck. Guess winter check should be in Oct, not Nov. sigh....

Scooters are ok for falling over, but just like a motorcycle I would rather not!!
I sometimes think many people don't understand the difference between the two? They are really two separate cultures that only look similar. Both are fun both are useful. One is to be ridden less than 26 miles One can take on the world But nothing says home town like a Cushman scooter

Sweet parents Star. Gift from heaven so to speak.
I am draping the garage in black bunting. I just got called that my only girlfriend died. And makes things not worth it. Her husband is the one who just had the Cameo restored to showroom. And she convinced him to send the 58 Chevy down afterwards.Sitting down state in the shop now. He had restored her old Blazer just cause she liked it. And now..he sits in his garage all alone. They were tighter than glue and did everything together. So no joy in the garage today.

The entire turkey meat just fell off the bones, just pick up the breast put on a plate & carve the best one can, every thing else was just pick out the bones & serve.
I saw a ring made of tinfoil hear on the computer some days back and it said the secret to a perfict turkey so I tied it, guess it works
