What some here don't seem to be grasping is that this woman dressed like a SLOB for her first date with this guy. That's the main thing. If he had told her they were going to eat frog legs -- that they gigged themselves -- then she was dressed appropriately.

But no...he had enough consideration for her to take the time and effort to look nice. She apparently couldn't care the hell less. She sounds very lacking in the social graces.

That said, the OP didn't strike out, so, as Medusa said, obviously that was the main thing. If a guy knows he's going to get some p*ssy, or at least the reasonable inference of some future p*ssy, all of a sudden what she's wearing becomes a moot point.

Exactly like a good ol' Cracker Barrel, from what I saw of it, but perhaps a little more crowded, and the Cheesecake Factory I've seen up close felt like it was aimed a bit more toward a younger crowd (I got the impression it was a bit like the higher end of the sorts of restaurants you'd see in a mall).

I'd probably dress up in khakis and a button-down shirt for a date there, but wouldn't feel bad about wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, either.

If I were younger, it would feel like I was on a pretty fancy date there.

I wouldn't feel too guilty about taking a date to one now, either, especially if she were to say she loves eating there.

That's just it. During the call I said, "That dress on your profile pic probably looks even better in person." She said it definitely did. So with that said, and her knowing where we were eating, I was expecting more than what she wore.

Not a casual meet/greet. An actual dinner date. Ladies, you'd make an effort to look presentable right?

Had the meet/greet Sun. Went well and ended in a kiss. Called her Mon night and arranged a dinner date for tonight. I wore a nice button up shirt and good pair of pants. She wore an old t-shirt, jean shorts, and sandals like she was going to the beach. I actually felt uncomfortable walking into the restaurant because of how differently we were dressed.

Ironically, the date itself was awesome, and the good night send off was really passionate. But I must admit, what she chose to wear REALLY rubbed me the wrong way.

I hate when this happens. Usually it's the other way around. It's a turn off to be honest. Not a complete date killer, but it's stuck in your mind and begins to fester as a negative against that person.

People should always try to dress nicely no matter what, imo.
