Trump: Had 'very successful meeting' with Russian officials
Vladimir Putin offered Wednesday to help settle the controversy over claims President Trump shared classified intel with Russian diplomats.
Railing against “dangerous” U.S. politicians whipping up “anti-Russian sentiment,” the Russian president dismissed the claim that Trump disclosed such information to Kremlin officials and offered to hand over records of an Oval Office meeting to Congress.
Speaking during a joint news conference with the Italian prime minister, Putin said those attacking Trump for allegedly being too cozy with Russian politicians were guilty of “political schizophrenia.”
Putin said – if the White House agreed – that he would share his records of a meeting Trump had last week with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ambassador Sergei Kislyak in which it was reported Trump blurted out sensitive information given to the White House by Israeli intelligence. Making light of the situation, Putin said he would have to reprimand Lavrov since the alleged intelligence was never passed along to him.
“He hasn’t shared those secrets with us,” Putin said.
The former KGB operative said he wasn’t yet ready to judge Trump’s nascent presidency and would only do so “when he’s allowed to work at full capacity,” ostensibly referencing the tidal wave of legislative resistance that’s greeted most of the items on Trump’s agenda.
The White House has adamantly defended Trump's conversations in that Oval Office meeting, saying what he discussed was "wholly appropriate."
"It was nothing that you would not know from open-source reporting," National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster said on Tuesday.
Trump, in a pair of Tuesday morning tweets, also defended the information he chose to share in the meeting.
"As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety," Trump wrote. "Humanitarian reasons, plus I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against ISIS & terrorism."
But reports claim Trump divulged an element of the intelligence -- related to an ISIS plot against air travel -- that could have allowed Russia to divine the sources and methods used to gather the information. Making the sharing of intelligence with Russia particularly tricky is the Kremlin's close relationship with Syria and Iran -- adversaries of Israel.
Turning to Russia's alleged meddling in the U.S. presidential election, Putin said he initially found the claim "funny," but said Moscow is now "concerned because it's hard to imagine what the people who produce such nonsense can come up with next."

Trump said that he would drain the swamp and much to the surprise of his detractors, he appears committed to his campaign pledges. Comey’s unceremonious but well-deserved firing was a warning shot across the bow, and it appears that former National Security Advisor to Obama, Susan Rice, has heard the shot loud and clear.
For the record, let's be very clear here. Regardless what nonsense the Democrats or the mainstream media will be spouting in the coming days ahead (and there will be plenty of it), make no mistake, it will all be pure B.S., and it will all be in an attempt to distract Americans from what is easily going to be the largest scandal in our nation's history…
In the following video, Right Wing News looks at reports which claim that Rice is now seeking immunity in exchange for spilling the beans on higher ups. The stakes are high for Rice; she stands accused of ordering illegal wiretaps on Trump and disseminating the information to journalists, a very serious offence. If someone as high up as Rice testifies, who will she implicate?
Ever since the scandal has come to light, Rice has tried to avoid the glare of the interrogator’s light.For instance, she refused to testify before the Senate during their investigation into the Russian hacking conspiracy, via CNN.
On other counts, Rice has attempted to clear her own name by giving supposedly candid interviews to “serious” journalists.
In each interview, the fact that Rice is a compulsive liar comes through time and time again, via FOX News.
Rice has a reason to be evasive. The House is currently looking into whether or not Rice ordered the NSA to spy on Donald Trump and his team before the inauguration. According to some evidence, all of this was done with foreign intelligence services as cover, via Washington Times.
If convicted, Rice could face serious jail time. With immunity, she may name bigger names than herself.
Now, with Comey gone, the investigation into Rice and her cronies looks likely to continue. One of the major reasons why Rice is seeking immunity now is because, without Comey, the FBI no longer serves the interests of the Democratic Party.
Rice’s testimony could implicate people like Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, or even Obama himself. From the emails that have been leaked by WikiLeaks, it is clear that former AG Lynch tried everything in her power to stop the investigation into Clinton from proceeding too far.
Similarly, the defeated Clinton campaign launched the Russian hacking theory a mere 24 hours after the final election results. This means that they may have been involved in espionage to find evidence for their claims, via Breitbart.
In a perfect world, Rice would be forced to testify without immunity. However, if her testimony can finally bring down Clinton, Lynch, and Obama, then that is good enough for us.
Keep draining that swamp.

Republican Asks For COMEY Memo On Clinton Meeting With Loretta Lynch
Now that former FBI Director James Comey has revealed that he keeps memos on everything a Republican is demanding to see the memo about the private meetings between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton last year.
The Daily Caller reported:
A House Republican wants to see the entire memo from former FBI Director James Comey on President Trump asking him to drop the investigation of Michael Flynn, as well as any memo Comey might have composed on the infamous meeting Bill Clinton had with Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
“If the New York Times has [Comey’s memo] that means we’re going to be able to see it and I would assume that would be fair. I assume that Mr. Comey also kept, if he’s disturbed by the same memos, that he gave to or about when Mrs. Clinton’s husband appeared in the jet with the attorney general,” Texas Republican Rep. Pete Sessions told The Daily Caller Tuesday.
“So I assume that memo would be available to us also. And I would assume that we will see a number of disturbing trends that took place at the Department of Justice [during the Obama administration] for whatever he’s claiming and I’ll look forward to seeing all those,” Sessions said. “But I cannot comment, because I have not seen them but I would assume that Mr. Comey that if he kept one on this visit, evidently, he has others now look forward to seeing those.”

Tucson.com reported:
The FBI arrested a TUSD employee on suspicion of threatening U.S. Rep. Martha McSally.
FBI agents arrested Steve Martan, 58, in connection with three messages left on the congressional office voicemail on May 2 and May 10, according to a criminal complaint filed May 12 in U.S.
District Court in Tucson. Martan is a campus monitor at Miles Exploratory Learning Center in the Tucson Unified School District. He was placed on home assignment and told not to come into work as the district investigates the allegations.
The voicemails contained threats to McSally, including that she should “be careful” when she returns to Tucson and that her days “were numbered.” He threatened to shoot her in one of the expletive-filled messages.
The complaint stated Martan told agents he was venting frustrations with McSally’s congressional votes in support of the president of the United States.
Martan was accused of threatening to assault and murder a United States official with intent to impede the official’s duties and to retaliate against an official for the performance of the official’s duties, according to the complaint.

On Fox News, Gowdy came out and said that Comey did at least one thing right: wrestling the Hillary case from the DOJ. He also strongly implied that there was MORE collusion between Hillary’s campaign and the DOJ than the public even knows. Get them, Gowdy! (via The Daily Caller)
Trey Gowdy is one of the few good politicians in the Capitol. It is a shame he is surrounded by the swamp creatures that reside within it. The radical Left hates Gowdy, and that means he is our friend.
The corrupt Democrats and the RINOs panic when they see Gowdy. He is always on point and ready to call out any nonsense in the swamp. After Trump’s eight years, we should push for eight years of Trey Gowdy.
I’m surprised the radical Left hasn’t tried to defame Gowdy. He must be as clean as a whistle, which isn’t surprising, considering his public character. The Comey firing has silenced RINOs, but Trey Gowdy isn’t afraid to call out the Left.
The corruption running through the swamp is at critical levels. We need someone like Trey Gowdy to help Trump drain the swamp. The mainstream media hardly reports on Trey Gowdy, because they cannot find anything wrong with him.
Gowdy is an example of why we need more conservatives in office. We need to replace the RINOs with true conservatives. These career politicians are plaguing our government.
Meanwhile, the Obama-era holdovers — like Comey — and the corrupt Democrats are now struggling in their unending quest to undermine Trump, and we can blame the RINOs for that. The RINOs are just cowards.
The radical Left should be in full panic mode. With conservatives like Gowdy, we aren’t going to take any nonsense from the liberals. We need to drain that swamp, so thankfully, we have Trey Gowdy and Donald Trump one the job. It is a beautiful thing to watch true conservatives work, while the Left trips over itself. The mainstream media is even struggling to help the incompetent Left.
The RINOs cannot stand conservatives like Gowdy. They are afraid of honesty and the truth. The RINOs are not going to leave DC without a fight, and they will likely rely on the media’s lies to remain in place.

Justice Department taps former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel for Russia investigation
The Justice Department tapped former FBI director Robert Mueller to be a special counsel overseeing the Russia investigation, the department announced Wednesday.
"I determined that it is on the public interest for me to exercise my authority and appoint a special counsel to assume responsibility for this matter," Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said Wednesday. "My decision is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted."
Based on the "unique circumstances," Rosenstein said, "the public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command."
After the Justice Department's announcement, Trump on Wednesday night denied any collusion between his campaign and Russia and called for a quick end to the investigation.
"As I have stated many times, a thorough investigation will confirm what we already know – there was no collusion between my campaign and any foreign entity," Trump said in a short statement. "I look forward to this matter concluding quickly. In the meantime, I will never stop fighting for the people and the issues that matter most to the future of our country."
The new special counsel, Mueller, served as FBI director from 2001 to 2013 under both the George W. Bush and Obama administrations.
Mueller, who preceded Comey as FBI director, was the longest serving director since J. Edgar Hoover. He served two additional years beyond his 10-year term, to ensure stability during a transition period in President Obama's national security team.
In his special counsel role, Mueller assumes all the powers of a federal prosecutor – including subpoena authority.
"I have determined that a special counsel is necessary in order for the American people to have full confidence in the outcome," Rosenstein said. "Our nation is grounded on the rule of law and the public must be assured that government officials administer the law fairly. Special Counsel Mueller will have all appropriate resources to conduct a thorough and complete investigation, and I am confident that he will follow the facts, apply the law and reach a just result."

The media is going absolutely ape s**t over this whole “Comey Memo” story, but it appears the liberal media just bit off more than they can chew.
As we reported yesterday, Jason Chaffetz was ready to request a subpoena of Comey’s memo, but now we are learning that the Senate Judiciary Committee has now requested ALL Comey memos related to Pres. Trump *and* Pres. Obama, as well as Trump & Obama DOJ officials!!
That means that we’re going to hear Comey’s memos on Loretta Lynch and all of the other SWAMP officials in the Obama administration!

Good grief, Barack Obama has no business commenting on Donald Trump’s presidency after Obama’s utter failure after 8 years, but that doesn’t stop him.
Apparently, Obama supporters still believe the vomit that spews from Obama’s mouth on a regular basis. And Obama sure does love to listen to himself speak. From Zero Hedge:
People Magazine decided to dedicate their cover story this month to their beloved “cool, even-keeled, no-drama Barack Obama.” And even though it will come as surprise to precisely no one, the story apparently includes the “bombshell” revelation that….wait for it…Obama can’t stand Trump…shocking, we know.
According to two anonymous sources friendly with the Obamas, People Magazine revealed that Obama frequently describes Trump as “nothing but a bullshitter”…
That’s actually pretty hilarious since Obama has been “nothing but a bullshitter” for probably most of his life, but definitely his entire political career. It’s amazing he doesn’t even see the irony in this statement. What’s even more amazing is that neither will Democrats who still think Obama was a good President.
Also from the People story:
A third source close to Obama tells PEOPLE: “He’s deeply concerned with what he’s seen. But he’s also optimistic and heartened that citizens aren’t just watching it happen but engaging with neighbors and elected representatives at town halls.”
Obama calls shouting people down, assaulting people, and rioting in the streets “engaging”? Many of these people are nothing but paid hacktivists who don’t even know what they’re talking about when protesting and asked by the press.
Obama clearly isn’t going to respect the Office of the President like other Presidents did before him, but that just shows how classless he’s been all along.

State Sen. Carlos Uresti, D-San Antonio, appeared in court in handcuffs after turning himself in to the FBI around 8 a.m. Wednesday — the morning after he was indicted by a federal grand jury on 13 criminal charges in two separate cases, according to federal law enforcement officials.
Uresti and two co-conspirators, who also turned themselves in, were all arrested and in handcuffs at a hearing this morning before U.S. Magistrate Judge Henry Bemporad in federal court in San Antonio.
Uresti, 53, disputed fraud charges relating to his involvement in bankrupt San Antonio oil-field services company FourWinds Logistics and public corruption in Reeves County. He could face more than 200 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Fox News says it fired Bob Beckel for 'insensitive' remark toward black staff member

Bob Beckel was fired again by Fox News for making an "insensitive" remark toward a black employee at the network, according to the cable channel.
"Bob Beckel was terminated today for making an insensitive remark to an African-American employee," the network said in a statement to Variety magazine.
Variety reported that Fox's human-resources department "was made aware of a complaint about what one person familiar with the situation characterized as a 'racially insensitive remark'" on Tuesday. After an internal investigation, Fox decided Friday to part ways with Beckel.
Beckel, a longtime strategist in Democratic politics, is one of the co-hosts of primetime program "The Five." He was fired from Fox once before in 2015 for what the network described as "personal issues."
Fox News is currently facing lawsuits related to sexual harassment and racial discrimination at the network.

Nolan Bruder Rapes His 16-Year-Old Sister, Judge Gives Him Slap On Wrist

Nolan Bruder Given Slap On Wrist By Judge William H. Follett For Raping Juvenile Sister
Crescent City, CA – A judge gave a few days active time and probation to Nolan Bruder, age 20, who raped his 16-year-old sister, going against the recommendations of the District Attorney and the Probation Department.
According to KRCTV, Nolan Bruder pleaded guilty earlier this month to the charge of rape of an intoxicated person. In his confession, he said that his sister had refused to have sex with him. He said that he gave his sister high-potency marijuana known as ‘dabs’ to smoke, until she was so stoned she could no longer recognize him as her brother.
Judge William H. Follett sentenced Bruder to just three years, and then suspended all but 240 days of that. He then gave Bruder probation.
District Attorney Dale Trigg said that “he could not disagree more” with the sentencing.
After sentencing Bruder, Judge Follett said that he believed “the stigma” of Bruder’s conviction along with ‘mandatory sex offender registration’ would prevent him and others in the community from reoffending.
The DA said “I could not disagree more. The message that this sends to our community is that sexual predators who get their juvenile siblings stoned enough can have sex with them without any meaningful consequence. That is not the message I want to send to our community.”
During the sentencing, Judge Follett noted that the victim took off her own clothes and was not unconscious. He also doubted if there was sufficient evidence for a jury to convict.
At the trial, Deputy District Attorney Annmarie Padilla argued that Judge Follett should follow the Probation Department’s recommendation of six years in prison.
The date of the crime predated the Brock Turner case. In that case, Turner, a Stanford University swimmer, served three months in jail for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman. After that case, the California legislature changed the law to make such crimes ineligible for probation.
Nolan Bruder’s crime was committed before the Turner ruling, and the new law does not apply to his case.
Trigg said that this case was worse than Turner’s case, because he took advantage “of a position of trust as the victim’s big brother.”
He said, “He knew she didn’t want to have sex with him. She told him that repeatedly. So he got her stoned on dabs he gave her until she didn’t even recognize him in order get what he wanted.”

Russia Special Counsel Mueller Worked with Radical Islamic Groups to Purge Anti-Terrorism Training Material Offensive to Muslims

Now that Robert Mueller has been appointed special counsel to investigate if Russia influenced the 2016 presidential election it’s worth reiterating his misguided handiwork and collaboration with radical Islamic organizations as FBI director. Judicial Watch exclusively obtained droves of records back in 2013 documenting how, under Mueller’s leadership, the FBI purged all anti-terrorism training material deemed “offensive” to Muslims after secret meetings between Islamic organizations and the FBI chief. Judicial Watch had to sue to get the records and published an in-depth report on the scandal in 2013 and a lengthier, updated follow-up in 2015.
As FBI director, Mueller bent over backwards to please radical Islamic groups and caved into their demands. The agency eliminated the valuable anti-terrorism training material and curricula after Mueller met with various Islamic organizations, including those with documented ties too terrorism. Among them were two organizations— Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)—named by the U.S. government as unindicted co-conspirators in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorist financing case. CAIR is a terrorist front group with extensive links to foreign and domestic Islamists. It was founded in 1994 by three Middle Eastern extremists (Omar Ahmad, Nihad Awad and Rafeeq Jaber) who ran the American propaganda wing of Hamas, known then as the Islamic Association for Palestine.
The records obtained as part of Judicial Watch’s lawsuit show that Mueller, who served 12 years as FBI chief, met with the Islamic organizations on February 8, 2012 to hear their demands. Shortly later the director assured the Muslim groups that he had ordered the removal of presentations and curricula on Islam from FBI offices nationwide. The purge was part of a broader Islamist operation designed to influence the opinions and actions of persons, institutions, governments and the public at-large. The records obtained by Judicial Watch also show similar incidents of Islamic influence operations at the Departments of Justice and State, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Obama White House.
Here are some of the reasons provided by Mueller’s FBI for getting rid of “offensive” training documents: “Article is highly inflammatory and inaccurately argues the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization.” It’s crucial to note that Mueller himself had previously described the Muslim Brotherhood as a group that supports terrorism in the U.S. and overseas when his agency provided this ludicrous explanation. Here’s more training material that offended the terrorist groups, according to the FBI files provided to Judicial Watch: An article claiming Al Qaeda is “clearly linked” to the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing; The Qur’an is not the teachings of the Prophet, but the revealed word of God; Sweeping generality of ‘Those who fit the terrorist profile best (for the present at least) are young male immigrants of Middle Eastern appearance;’ conflating Islamic Militancy with terrorism. The list goes on and on.
Mueller’s actions have had a widespread effect because many local law enforcement agencies followed the FBI’s lead in allowing Islamic groups like CAIR to dictate what anti-terrorism material could be used to train officers. Among them are police departments in three Illinois cities— Lombard, Elmhurst and Highland Park—as well as the New York Police Department (NYPD). In the case of the Lombard Police Department, CAIR asserted that the instructor of a training course called “Islamic Awareness as a Counter-Terrorist Strategy” was anti-Muslim though there was no evidence to support it. Like the FBI, Lombard officials got rid of the “offensive” course. The NYPD purged a highly-acclaimed report that’s proven to be a critical tool in terrorism investigations after three New York Muslims, two mosques and an Islamic nonprofit filed a lawsuit.
Considering Mueller’s role in much of this, it makes him a bizarre choice to lead the heated Russia investigation. The goal, apparently, is to determine of Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and if President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russian officials. In the Justice Department announcement, Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein describes Mueller as person who qualifies to lead the probe because he exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command. “Special Counsel Mueller will have all appropriate resources to conduct a thorough and complete investigation, and I am confident that he will follow the facts, apply the law and reach a just result,” according to Rosenstein.

Benjamin Wittes (Comey’s Friend) Claims Responsibility For Leaking Memo To NY Times

Benjamin Wittes has claimed full responsibility for leaking the James Comey memo to the New York Times and he didn’t stop there according to the Conservative Treehouse.
One thing we must remember is that Comey has stated publicly that President Trump never interfered with his investigation so Witts is making a huge gamble here in doing this. Comey is supposed to testify next Wednesday in front of the House committee, which I am not sure he has accepted that invitation.
Wittes claims he is Comey’s friend and laid out Comey’s alleged feeling about Trump in an article. Here’s an excerpt below.
Yesterday, a friend of James Comey by the name of Benjamin Wittes, editor and writer for lawfare blog, now steps out and admits he was one of the primary sources for the New York Times Comey Memo article (Michael Schmidt); and in so doing outlines the severity of the political nature of the former FBI Director:
[…] I called Schmidt Friday morning after reading his earlier story, which ran the previous evening, about Comey’s dinner with President Trump and the President’s demands at that dinner for a vow of loyalty.
[…] I did this interview on the record because the President that morning was already issuing threatening tweets suggesting that Comey was leaking things, and I didn’t want any room for misunderstanding that any kind of leak had taken place with respect to the information I was providing.
[…] I insisted that Schmidt record the conversation and give me a copy of the recording, so that we had a good record of what was said.
[…] Comey understood Trump’s people as having neither knowledge of nor respect for the independence of the law enforcement function. And he saw it as an ongoing task on his part to protect the rest of the Bureau from improper contacts and interferences from a group of people he did not regard as honorable.
This was a general preoccupation of Comey’s in the months he and Trump overlapped—and the difference between this relationship and his regard for Obama (which was deep) was profound and palpable. (read full article)
So how did this guy get Comey’s memos exactly? Makes you wonder how many other leaks that were detrimental to the Administration came from Comey’s friend. Someone should ask this clown if he ever leaked unmasked names of Trump’s People gathered from the NSA or any other governmental Intelligence agency forms of electronic surveillance?
Do I believe there was a memo? Nope. Not until I see it and it would be a stretch for me after that too. If there is a memo, Comey could be prosecuted.
We have major conspiracists on our side who use Twitter for their personal pleasure to lie to their followers and parade around as if they know things they really don’t know jack, and that hurts real truth tellers later on down the line. These sorry sacks of filth have been projecting Dina Powell as the leak of the memo but as we will check below, it’s not true.
