mrfckinpetey Orlando, FL 30, joined Jun. 2014	Most white men are just afraid of being labeled a racist, so much so that they don't speak their minds on how they really feel, even if they aren't racist. But in all fairness, anytime a white guy even mentions a racial issue, there's a good chance that a black person is going to cry "Racist!". The irony is that by avoiding the issues, or trying to move around them carefully, people are generally clever enough to detect that they're hiding something, which gives more reason to assume that deep down they're racist. The truth of the matter is, most white people I know, don't give two shits about race. You never hear white people discussing racial issues among themselves, especially not how most blacks assume it being "black vs white". Because white people don't even consider themselves "white". There are Italians, Irish, English, Welsh, Norwegian, etc. We all have our own challenges within what most consider "white", and "black" is just another section of people that fall into that category. It doesn't seem this way with blacks though. You don't really see Jamaicans challenging Haitians, or Africans challenging Liberians, etc. There's more of a brotherhood among all blacks, which I think is why blacks assume that all whites form a brotherhood among themselves. I've never met any white people that look at it that way. We naturally like to challenge each other, that's how we progress as a people. It's why in war you have the red coats, and the blue rebels. Or the red republicans and the blue democrats. We naturally use color to draw lines (or at least this is how most white races seem to lean), and so that natural competition can come off as racist to someone not familiar with that way of thinking. It really has nothing to do with race itself, but more to do with how different we look. We like to be around people that look similar to us, because that makes us feel safer. But it's all perspective. To some people, they look at us as human beings as being one team. To others, they look at people with long hair as being one team, or blue eyes, or red hair, etc. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make, is that there aren't nearly as many people who simply think "Damn them n**gers! They're all bad!". It's more along the lines of "Damn, that person seems different than I am! I best be careful to make sure my way of life isn't effected by it!". The solution is to change perspective. If we were suddenly invaded by an alien race of spider people, you'd quickly see blacks and whites banding together like brothers, seeing a common human way of life to protect. Whether you like it, admit it, or stand against it or not...This country is skewed toward favoring people who are assumed to be "white". This permeates into all facets of society. Whether you agree with it or not. That's why we have to make laws and shit to stand against this ever-pervasive racism. Some people like these laws, and have begun believing that race doesn't matter. It may not to YOU, but there are millions that are still racist, and who actively try to oppress minorities. UNTIL THAT IS STRAIGHTENED OUT...it kind of is unbecoming for members of the black race (who are still discriminated against) to walk around acting like all is well. The stats tell the truth, that white men do not see black women in the same light as they do white women. Statistically. So it's black women who should be wary of chasing after certain types of men, that will MORE LIKELY see them as just a f*k, and not a wife. Unless of course they don't mind being a whre and slut. Which they have every right to be. Just look at the comments by white men against blacks on this site, and multiply that by a million. And act accordingly. Have a good day.
