CNN Goes on Rampage Against Susan Rice Bombshell, Instructs Viewers to Ignore Story
'We will not aid and abet the people trying to misinform you'
Apr 4, 2017

Since news broke Monday that the Obama Administration's National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, directed the "unmasking" of NSA intercepts of Trump associates, CNN has raced to shoot down the blockbuster report.

CNN Tonight's Don Lemon went so far as to announce he would ignore the news at all costs.

While interviewing a Democratic congressman, CNN's Chris Cuomo claimed it was "demonstrably untrue" Rice sought surveillance of the Trump team, even as that's exactly what yesterday's reports prove.

Over the last 24 hours, the network has also repeatedly called on its chief national security correspondent, Jim Sciutto, to dismiss the reports as a non-story; Sciutto has even excused Rice claiming ignorance of the unmasking scandal two weeks ago, arguing Rice "wasn't aware" what unmasking Rep. Devin Nunes (D-Calif.) was referring to.

And on Tuesday's "New Day," anchor Alisyn Camerota openly pleaded with Sen. John McCain to write-off the news as unimportant.

Last night, Lemon began "CNN Tonight" with an announcement that the Rice report a "fake scandal ginned up by right-wing media and Trump" that he would not be baited into justifying with coverage.

"On this program tonight, we will not insult your intelligence by pretending," it's legitimate, he said. "Nor will we aid and abet the people trying to misinform you, the American people, by creating a diversion. Not going to do it."

Sciutto also claimed the story was "ginned up" to distract from Trump tweeting that the Trump Tower was "wiretapped," when it was in fact communications were picked up through ordinary NSA surveillance.

"Again, to note by senior intelligence officials who work for both Democrats and Republicans, this appears to be a story, largely ginned up, partly as a distraction from this larger investigation," Sciutto told Anderson Cooper, explaining that "someone close to Ambassador Rice" told him this type of unmasking is "not unusual."

In another appearance, Sciutto even attempted to excuse Rice from claiming to have no knowledge of the unmasking she's been caught orchestrating.

"From her perspective she didn’t know what specific unmasking Devin Nunes and others are talking about, in part because that is something she asks — or asked during the regular course of her work as national security adviser," he said. "I do know from speaking to people yesterday close to her that she doesn’t know specifically what Devin Nunes and others are accusing her of when it comes to unmasking because that was something sets in the regular course of her job."

And in yet another appearance, Sciutto also setup something of a strawman, arguing that the unmasking story is not important because "unmasking is not leaking."

During an interview with Sen. John McCain, CNN's Camerota plainly tried nudging the Arizona senator into dismissing the Rice bombshell:

CAMEROTA: “Okay, senator, I want to move on to other news of the day and that is, as you know, the Trump White House has talked about what they see or they say they see as a controversy of the former national security adviser Susan Rice unmasking a name, someone on team Trump, that was somehow caught up in some incidental collection of surveillance. They say that this is a controversy, it shows that she has done something wildly out of the bounds of normalcy. Is this business as usual for a national security adviser to ask for a name to be revealed, an American name, if she wants to know more or is this some sort of a controversy?”
McCAIN: “I think the circumstances indicate that there’s a possibility that that request could have been politically motivated. But we need to get to the bottom of it. As I’ve said, and I’ll probably say many more times because I’m kind of boring, this is a centipede. A shoe will drop every few days, the latest the meeting in Seychelles. This is a requirement, in my view, why we need a select committee in order to get through all this because there’s lots more shoes that will drop. I can’t make a judgment on what I just heard. She did have the authority to do it. What was the motivation for doing it, I think is the question.”
CAMEROTA: “What we’ve heard from the reporting, is that if she saw a masked name that said American number one had these conversations with Russians at the same time that President Obama had imposed sanctions, wouldn’t that arouse some curiosity on her part?”
McCAIN: “All I can say, Alisyn, is that I don’t know enough to reach a conclusion except to say this is another aspect of this multi-dimensional scandal."

Collusion: Susan Rice's husband is Ian Cameron, an ABC News Executive Producer

Susan Rice’s Husband’s Employer – ABC News – Doesn’t Cover Biggest News Story of the Year about Rice Spying on Trump Team

Jim Hoft Apr 4th, 2017 8:46 am

Senior Fox News Correspondent, Adam Housley revealed on Friday that Intel Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) knows who unmasked the identities of Trump and his close associates. Sources also told him that the unmasking was purely for political purposes to embarrass Trump and had NOTHING to do with national security.

Then over the weekend it was CONFIRMED that Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice Requested the Unmasking of Incoming Trump Officials.

This is perhaps one of the biggest news stories of the year and maybe the biggest story of its kind EVER. That politicians were using US spying techniques put in place to protect Americans from terroriststo spy on competing political campaigns is unheard of in US history.

The coverage in the Main Stream Media (MSM) was apathetic but the coverage at one major MSM outlet was nonexistent. ABC News this morning has no mention of the story on its home page.

of course the connections of the illustrious susan (the known liar) rice means nothing???

Also on Monday, Fox News and Bloomberg News, citing multiple sources reported that Rice had requested the intelligence information that was produced in a highly organized operation. Fox said the unmasked names of Trump aides were given to officials at the National Security Council (NSC), the Department of Defense, James Clapper, President Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, Obama’s CIA Director.

Joining Rice in the alleged White House operations was her deputy Ben Rhodes, according to Fox.

Democrats are going to have difficulty trying to explain Susan Rice’s actions involving intelligence on the Trump team.

They apparently wouldn’t be able to argue it didn’t happen.

Why?

Because the NSC has logs of of every time she looked at the information.

From Washington Examiner:

The National Security Council has uncovered computer logs that detail the instances former national security adviser Susan Rice requested and viewed records that included President Trump and his campaign staffers’ names in intelligence reports from July through January, according to a report published Monday.

Hence, the reason now that some are trying to justify her actions as ‘normal’ despite the fact that she denied even knowing about any of it.

Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.

Where was the warrant?

Michael Doran, former NSC senior director, said there “was a stream of information that was supposed to be hermetically sealed from politics” but that somehow the Obama administration “found a way to blow a hole in that wall.”

Doran charged that potential serious crimes were undertaken because “this is a leaking of signal intelligence.”

“That’s a felony,” he told TheDCNF. “And you can get 10 years for that. It is a tremendous abuse of the system. We’re not supposed to be monitoring American citizens. Bigger than the crime, is the breach of public trust.”

Col. (Ret.) James Waurishuk, who is an NSC veteran and former deputy director for intelligence at the U.S. Central Command was upset with how intelligence had apparently been used for political reasons.

Waurishuk said he was most dismayed that “this is now using national intelligence assets and capabilities to spy on the elected, yet-to-be-seated president.”

“We’re looking at a potential constitutional crisis from the standpoint that we used an extremely strong capability that’s supposed to be used to safeguard and protect the country,” he said. “And we used it for political purposes by a sitting president. That takes on a new precedent.”

The logs are bad enough if they show a pattern of behavior over the course of a year, but if the spreadsheet report is correct, she may indeed be finally cooked.

Sounds like the smoking gun…

I was watching Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts online earlier. She was ranting about not voting for Gorsuch for SCOTUS.

It was scary. I've never seen, publicly, a more angry and nasty individual.

Will be fun to see her, and the other Loons heads explode when Gorsuch is seated later this week!

Call your Senators.. tell them go Nuclear and confirm Gorsuch!

Anti-Trump liberal Shia LeBeouf could not pay people to go see his latest movie, "Man Down." The war thriller premiered in the U.K. and sold exactly 1 ticket.

From Variety.

“Man Down,” a war thriller with Shia LaBeouf, grossed just £7 ($8.70) when it premiered in a single U.K. theater over the weekend, according to ComScore. That’s the equivalent of selling a single ticket, given that the U.K. Cinema Association puts the average movie admission cost in the country at £7.21.

“Poor Shia,” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at ComScore. “That opening could be in the Guinness World Records or something.”

BREAKING NEWS: Obama has been caught by law enforcement officials engaging in the illegal International drug trade. And President Trump has now ordered his arrest for involvement in the illegal international drug trade. And Obama has been arrested by military officials and is being held in Japan. (This is big news, since I haven’t seen a thread on this in this forum yet, I am posting it here--perhaps I should have posted it in several of the lying liberal threads, it would have blown their thread up). Obama is guilty of many other grave felonies as well, including murder, embellishment, and treason, which are being investigated, and many other charges are in the pipeline. It is over for Obama. It is said that Obama is singing like a canary and is naming names. It is finally happening. Obama’s shadow government is going down. Obama (and Soros) are the head of the snake, and they are going down.

Obama’s ship was first found with 4,2 tons of cocaine a few weeks ago, then Obama was tipped off and went on the run and hasn’t returned to his mansion in DC, which has now been searched by the FBI and his phone lines tapped. Now his plane at Argyle air port (this may be the newly constructed airport in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, but I'm not sure, I will have to verify that) has been found full of heron and amphetamines. Trump drugs, Obama said after being arested, were to be sold to finance ISIS. President Trump ordered his arrest, and Obama has been arrested and is now in the custody of the US military, and is being held in Japan. See the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5nBmSxbLss

Check out this headline today from the New York Post:

Fresh evidence the Russia ‘scandal’ is a Team Obama operation

“…we also know that the Obama administration later changed the classification of the “unmasked” transcripts, and other similar material, in order to spread the information as widely as possible within the government.

The motive for that was (supposedly) to prevent Team Trump from burying it all once it took over. But the result was that it made it relatively safe for someone (or someones) to leak the info to the press.

Rice certainly wasn’t politically naive about the political uses of intelligence information. She was, after all, the Obama official who famously made the rounds spouting the false “Our intel says it was about the video” line on the Benghazi attack back during the 2012 campaign.”

————————

Team Obama willfully weaponized the nation’s intelligence operations against private citizens to influence an election both before and after. That is a far more grievous offense than anything an unknown Russian hacker may or may not have done in disclosing DNC emails. (which by the way showed proof of cheating by the Hillary Clinton campaign)

An outgoing president actively sought to harm an incoming president.

If Americans are fine with that, this country is in far more dire shape than even the pessimists among us might have thought.

Susan Rice’s White House Unmasking: A Watergate-style Scandal
by Andrew C. McCarthy April 4, 2017 12:08 PM

Her interest was not in national security but to advance the political interests of the Democratic party. The thing to bear in mind is that the White House does not do investigations. Not criminal investigations, not intelligence investigations. Remember that. Why is that so important in the context of explosive revelations that Susan Rice, President Obama’s national-security adviser, confidant, and chief dissembler, called for the “unmasking” of Trump campaign and transition officials whose identities and communications were captured in the collection of U.S. intelligence on foreign targets? Because we’ve been told for weeks that any unmasking of people in Trump’s circle that may have occurred had two innocent explanations: (1) the FBI’s investigation of Russian meddling in the election and (2) the need to know, for purposes of understanding the communications of foreign intelligence targets, the identities of Americans incidentally intercepted or mentioned.

The unmasking, Obama apologists insist, had nothing to do with targeting Trump or his people. That won’t wash. In general, it is the FBI that conducts investigations that bear on American citizens suspected of committing crimes or of acting as agents of foreign powers. In the matter of alleged Russian meddling, the investigative camp also includes the CIA and the NSA. All three agencies conducted a probe and issued a joint report in January. That was after Obama, despite having previously acknowledged that the Russian activity was inconsequential, suddenly made a great show of ordering an inquiry and issuing sanctions.

Consequently, if unmasking was relevant to the Russia investigation, it would have been done by those three agencies. And if it had been critical to know the identities of Americans caught up in other foreign intelligence efforts, the agencies that collect the information and conduct investigations would have unmasked it. Because they are the agencies that collect and refine intelligence “products” for the rest of the “intelligence community,” they are responsible for any unmasking; and they do it under “minimization” standards that FBI Director James Comey, in recent congressional testimony, described as “obsessive” in their determination to protect the identities and privacy of Americans.

Understand: There would have been no intelligence need for Susan Rice to ask for identities to be unmasked. If there had been a real need to reveal the identities — an intelligence need based on American interests — the unmasking would have been done by the investigating agencies.

The national-security adviser is not an investigator. She is a White House staffer. The president’s staff is a consumer of intelligence, not a generator or collector of it. If Susan Rice was unmasking Americans, it was not to fulfill an intelligence need based on American interests; it was to fulfill a political desire based on Democratic-party interests.

The FBI, CIA, and NSA generate or collect the intelligence in, essentially, three ways: conducting surveillance on suspected agents of foreign powers under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), and carrying out more-sweeping collections under two other authorities — a different provision of FISA, and a Reagan-era executive order that has been amended several times over the ensuing decades, EO 12,333. As Director Comey explained, in answering questions posed by Representative Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.), those three agencies do collection, investigation, and analysis.

In general, they handle any necessary unmasking — which, due to the aforementioned privacy obsessiveness, is extremely rare. Unlike Democratic-party operatives whose obsession is vanquishing Republicans, the three agencies have to be concerned about the privacy rights of Americans. If they’re not, their legal authority to collect the intelligence — a vital national-security power — could be severely curtailed when it periodically comes up for review by Congress, as it will later this year.

Those three collecting agencies — FBI, CIA, and NSA — must be distinguished from other components of the government, such as the White House. Those other components, Comey elaborated, “are consumers of our products.” That is, they do not collect raw intelligence and refine it into useful reports — i.e., reports that balance informational value and required privacy protections. They read those reports and make policy recommendations based on them. White House staffers are not supposed to be in the business of controlling the content of the reports; they merely act on the reports. Thus, Comey added, these consumers “can ask the collectors to unmask.” But the unmasking authority “resides with those who collected the information.”

Of course, the consumer doing the asking in this case was not just any government official. We’re talking about Susan Rice. This was Obama’s right hand doing the asking. If she made an unmasking “request,” do you suppose anyone at the FBI, CIA, or NSA was going to say no? That brings us to three interesting points............................

...........................................................................

The first involves political intrusion into law enforcement — something that the White House is supposed to avoid. (You may remember that Democrats ran Bush attorney general Alberto Gonzales out of town over suspicions about it.) As I have noted repeatedly, in publishing the illegally leaked classified information about former national-security adviser Michael Flynn’s communications with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, the New York Times informs us that “Obama advisers” and “Obama officials” were up to their eyeballs in the investigation: Obama advisers heard separately from the F.B.I. about Mr. Flynn’s conversation with Mr. Kislyak, whose calls were routinely monitored by American intelligence agencies that track Russian diplomats.

The Obama advisers grew suspicious that perhaps there had been a secret deal between the incoming team and Moscow, which could violate the rarely enforced, two-century-old Logan Act barring private citizens from negotiating with foreign powers in disputes with the United States. The Obama officials asked the F.B.I. if a quid pro quo had been discussed on the call, and the answer came back no, according to one of the officials, who like others asked not to be named discussing delicate communications. [Translation: “asked not to be named committing felony unauthorized disclosure of classified information.”]

The topic of sanctions came up, they were told, but there was no deal. [Emphasis added.] It appears very likely that Susan Rice was involved in the unmasking of Michael Flynn. Was she also monitoring the FBI’s investigation? Was she involved in the administration’s consideration of (bogus) criminal charges against Flynn? With the subsequent decision to have the FBI interrogate Flynn (or “grill” him, as the Times put it)?

The second point is that, while not a pillar of rectitude, Ms. Rice is not an idiot. Besides being shrewd, she was a highly involved, highly informed consumer of intelligence, and a key Obama political collaborator. Unlike the casual reader, she would have known who the Trump-team players were without needing to have their identities unmasked. Do you really think her purpose in demanding that names be revealed was to enhance her understanding of intelligence about the activities and intentions of foreign targets? Seriously? I’m betting it was so that others down the dissemination chain could see the names of Trump associates — names the investigating agencies that originally collected the information had determined not to unmask.

Third, and finally, let’s consider the dissemination chain Rice had in mind. The most telling remark that former Obama deputy defense secretary Evelyn Farkas made in her now-infamous MSNBC interview was the throw-away line at the end: “That’s why you have all the leaking.” Put this in context: Farkas had left the Obama administration in 2015, subsequently joining the presidential campaign of, yes, Hillary Clinton — Trump’s opponent. She told MSNBC that she had been encouraging her former Obama-administration colleagues and members of Congress to seek “as much information as you can” from the intelligence community. “That’s why you have the leaking.”

To summarize: At a high level, officials like Susan Rice had names unmasked that would not ordinarily be unmasked. That information was then being pushed widely throughout the intelligence community in unmasked form . . . particularly after Obama, toward the end of his presidency, suddenly — and seemingly apropos of nothing — changed the rules so that all of the intelligence agencies (not just the collecting agencies) could have access to raw intelligence information.

As we know, the community of intelligence agencies leaks like a sieve, and the more access there is to juicy information, the more leaks there are. Meanwhile, former Obama officials and Clinton-campaign advisers, like Farkas, were pushing to get the information transferred from the intelligence community to members of Congress, geometrically increasing the likelihood of intelligence leaks.

By the way, have you noticed that there have been lots of intelligence leaks in the press? There’s an old saying in the criminal law: The best evidence of a conspiracy is success. The criminal law also has another good rule of thumb: Consciousness of guilt is best proved by false exculpatory statements. That’s a genre in which Susan Rice has rich experience. Two weeks ago, she was asked in an interview about allegations by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R., Calif.) that the Obama administration had unmasked Trump-team members. “I know nothing about this,” Rice replied. “I was surprised to see reports from Chairman Nunes on that count today.” Well, at least she didn’t blame it on a video. — Andrew C. McCarthy is a senior policy fellow at the National Review Institute and a contributing editor of National Review.

"The Russia-Trump story was hatched months before the 2016 election but not given serious consideration as EVERYONE was confident Crooked Hillary would be the next POTUS.

A few weeks before the election...the Democrats started getting scared. Panic set in. And the Trump-Russian fabrication was given new life.
The fact there was NO TRUTH to the story didn’t matter. Team Obama invented it. Politicians embraced it. The Media happily pushed it........It was all a lie.

Surprise: Susan Rice Changes Her Story on Unmasking of Trump Transition Officials, Denies Wrongdoing
Katie Pavlich
Posted: Apr 04, 2017 1:30 PM

Just two weeks ago, former White House National Security Advisor Susan Rice told PBS she "knew nothing" about the unmasking of Americans, specifically Trump campaign officials or transition team members.

"I know nothing about this. I was surprised to see reports from Chairman Nunes on that count today," Rice said.

Turns out, she knew all about it. After a bombshell report released Monday alleged Rice is the Obama official responsible for the unmasking of a number of Trump transition team members, her story has changed. She's gone from "knowing nothing," to unmasking being part of her job.

"We only do it to protect the American people and to do our jobs." Rice said, adding Obama officials never used intelligence to spy on Trump officials for political purposes. "I leaked nothing to nobody and never have and never would."

When asked whether she would be willing to testify under oath in front of Congress about her actions, Rice refused to give a direct answer.

Susan Rice: 'I Leaked Nothing To Nobody' About Intelligence (Exclusive) | Andrea Mitchell | MSNBC
Published on Apr 4, 2017
Former Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice is being accused of asking to "unmask" Trump aides in intelligence reports. She responds to the claim for the first time with NBC's Andrea Mitchell.

Over to you, Andrew McCarthy:

Elizabeth Warren’s Female Staffers Made 71% of Male Staffers’ Salaries in 2016
Equal Pay Day Special: Warren demonstrates hypocrisy on gender pay gap

Senator Elizabeth Warren

BY: Brent Scher
April 4, 2017 4:58 am

The gender pay gap in Sen. Elizabeth Warren's (D., Mass.) office is nearly 10 percent wider than the national average, meaning women in the Massachusetts Democrat's office will have to wait longer than most women across the country to recognize Equal Pay Day.

Equal Pay Day, created two decades ago by the National Committee on Pay Equity, is scheduled by using the Census Bureau annual unadjusted gender pay gap to determine how far into the next year women would have to work to match annual earnings of men. Last year's figures, showing that women earned 79.6 percent of what men earned, put Equal Pay Day on Tuesday April 4, more than three months into the calendar year.

However, women working for Warren were paid just 71 cents for every dollar paid to men during the 2016 fiscal year, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.

The median annual earnings for women staffers, $52,750, was more than $20,000 less than the median annual earnings for men, $73,750, according to the analysis of publicly available Senate data.

When calculated using average salaries rather than median, the pay gap expands to just over $26,051, or about 31 percent.

Consistent with previous Free Beacon analyses of Senate salary data, only full-time staffers who were employed for the entire period in question were included in the calculations.

For example, Warren's former chief of staff Mindy Myers and her male replacement Dan Geldon were not included because neither worked the full year.

Among employees employed the entire year, only one woman, Warren's director of scheduling, earned a six-figure salary, at $100,624.88.

Five men—Warren's director of oversight and investigations ($156,000), legislative director ($149,458), deputy chief of staff ($119,375), Massachusetts state director ($152,310), and deputy state director ($113,750)—earned more than Warren's highest paid woman staffer in 2016.

Many discount attributing gender pay differences to discrimination, arguing that these comparisons fail to take into account several contributing factors, but Warren is not one of them.
Warren said on last year's Equal Pay Day that the American workplace was "rigged against women" and called it a "national day of embarrassment" for the nation.

"Today is Equal Pay Day, and by the sound of it, you would think it's some sort of historic holiday commemorating the anniversary of a landmark day that our country guaranteed equal pay for women," Warren said. "But that's not what this is about. Not even close."

Bannon Loses National Security Council Role in Trump Shakeup
by Jennifer Jacobs

Intelligence director, Joint Chiefs chairman elevated
McMaster given greater authority over security matters

Steve Bannon's Weird, Winding Road to the White House

President Donald Trump reorganized his National Security Council on Wednesday, removing his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, and downgrading the role of his Homeland Security Adviser, Tom Bossert, according to a person familiar with the decision and a regulatory filing.

Steve Bannon

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster was given responsibility for setting the agenda for meetings of the NSC or the Homeland Security Council, and was authorized to delegate that authority to Bossert, at his discretion, according to the filing.

Under the move, the national intelligence director, Dan Coats, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, are again "regular attendees" of the NSC’s principals committee.

Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, was elevated to the National Security Council’s principals committee at the beginning of Trump’s presidency. The move drew criticism from some members of Congress and Washington’s foreign policy establishment.

A White House official said that Bannon was placed on the committee in part to monitor Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and never attended a meeting. He’s no longer needed with McMaster in charge of the council, the official said.

Trump fired Flynn on Feb. 13 for not disclosing to the president or to Vice President Mike Pence the extent of his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, before Trump’s inauguration.

Limbaugh: Obama ‘Weaponized’ America’s Spies Against Trump’s Team

"It’s becoming increasingly clear..."By Jack Davis
on April 3, 2017 at 4:43pm

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh on Monday boiled down the complex web of surveillance stories regarding the Trump team into one simple concept: the Obama administration declared a very secret war on President Donald Trump using America’s intelligence services as his weapon.

Trump first alerted America to the surveillance issue when he tweeted on March 4 that he was “wiretapped” by former President Barack Obama. Trump’s claims were initially met with denials. However, it was reported on Monday that Obama’s former national security adviser, Susan Rice, played a heretofore-unannounced role by “unmasking” the identities of Trump associates whose communications were incidental by-products of the surveillance.

Limbaugh said that this latest detail reveals a conspiracy of epic proportions.

“But the real scandal here — and it’s becoming increasingly clear — is that the Obama administration weaponized politically our intelligence services against the Republicans and against Trump. I, for one, am not surprised,” he said.

“We know that the Obama Regime surveilled Trump’s transition team. We know now that the Obama White House unmasked people who were not targets of legitimate surveillance and investigation. We know now that the Obama White House illegal leaked protected information,” he said.

Limbaugh said that mainstream media outlets were used as well to share the few choice tidbits from leakers burrowed in the Obama and Trump administrations.

“The Drive-By Media reported all of this. We know that there had to be unmasking. We know that there had to be leaking. The media proudly told us that sources who could not be identified […] fed them data. We know now that the media was complicit,” he said.

Limbaugh said that because rules forbid direct surveillance without proof that did not exist, the Obama administration found a novel way to indirectly eavesdrop on the Trump team.

” … the Obama administration chose surveillance targets knowing that they would be talking to specific Americans, wanting to see what those specific Americans were talking about. So while they couldn’t get a FISA warrant to target Americans, they purposely targeted for surveillance foreign actors that they knew Trump transition people would be talking to and learned what they were saying that way. And that’s why Rice was requesting that these people be unmasked so that she and Obama and whoever else in this operation would understand who was being talked about and who was saying what,” Limbaugh said.

” … we now know that Trump has been surveilled for a year. We now know that the Obama administration was responsible for the unmasking. We now know that it was Susan Rice, who lied on five Sunday shows about Benghazi, we know that it was Susan Rice who requested the unmasking of all of these Trump officials,” he said.

Limbaugh was emphatic that the scandal to focus upon has nothing to do with Russia.

“This story is not Trump and the Russians. I’m sorry to be so repetitive. The story is the surveillance that the Obama administration was engaging in of Trump and who knows who else. Now, you say, ‘Rush, this is awfully hard to believe.’ No, it isn’t. This is my point about liberals and who they are. They weaponized the IRS against conservatives, didn’t they? They most certainly did,” he said.

He also noted that because Obama loyalists had tapes of call former national security adviser Michael Flynn made to Russian officials, they know what was said.

“If Flynn had indeed promised anything about lifting sanctions once Trump was inaugurated, they (would) have reported that by now. It is clear that Flynn did not do anything actionable because all they’ve been able to do is leak supposition and create mystery about it. But they’ve known all along that nothing happened! They’ve known all along that Flynn didn’t do anything illegal in his conversation with the Russian ambassador. So the leaks have been intended to create suspicion rather than allay it,” he said.

the Muslim Movement is Moving......

Barack Hussein Obama is proving to be the hemorrhoid on the backside of America that simply refuses to leave. Ever since Trump got into office, old Barry has been incessant in his efforts to bring Trump down, as we continue to find more about Obama’s shadow government and illegal spying. But things unfortunately for us just got a whole lot worse. The Democratic Party is already grooming their next Obama and the man’s disturbing background will make you want to absolutely hurl.

Meet Dr. Abdul el-Sayed. A 32-year-old Muslim medical doctor who has recently thrown his hat in the race for governor of Michigan. Just like Obama, he speaks without an accent and is charismatic; attributes that divert everyone’s attention away from the fact that he’s a Muslim with the full backing of the Muslim Brotherhood terror organization. If you think this sounds like Obama 2.0 you’d be 100% correct. He too hates Trump with a passion, saying that the president’s decisions “are at odds with deeply held American values.”
Abdul el-Sayed with his wife “Sara”

With Michigan already transforming into a Muslim cesspool in recent years, the state nominating Sayed would just put the final touches on the state whose citizens are already being threatened by the takeover of Sharia Law. D*ck Manasseri, who heads a group called Secure Michigan that educates Michiganders about the threat of Shariah law, predicts that Sayed will win the Democratic nomination for governor.

“It is the exact same thing as Barack Obama in Chicago in the early 2000s,” said Manasseri. “He’s young, attractive, he does not give out a lot of information, he speaks in platitudes about celebrating inclusiveness and diversity.”

“He’s very well packaged,” Manasseri said. “He’s far more accomplished than Barack Obama. Obama was not this accomplished, they connected him to certain foundations and his candidacy took off.”

Manasseri said that Democrats are already rallying around their little Obama 2.0, with Elizabeth Warren planning to campaign for him.

“Elizabeth Warren will be coming to campaign for him, the Democrats in other states will be raising money for him. The DNC number-two man [Keith Ellison] will be raising money for him. Of course this guy is going to be on the Sunday morning talk shows. He’ll be everywhere. A candidate for governor who is Muslim Brotherhood …if that doesn’t tell you there’s a Shariah swamp in Michigan I don’t know what does.”

Detroit health director set to make bid for governor
Christine Ferretti , The Detroit News Published 10:54 a.m. ET Feb. 9, 2017

Detroit — He’s made a name for himself in Detroit as a leader in the fight for environmental justice, but the city’s health chief has resigned to tackle his next challenge: a bid for governor.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed told The Detroit News he gave notice on Monday in favor of pursuing the state’s highest office on a platform that will be deeply rooted in his values of equity and inclusion.

The 32-year-old Rhodes scholar was appointed executive director of the Detroit Department of Health & Wellness Promotion in 2015.

In his tenure, El-Sayed overhauled the city’s troubled animal control office and emerged as an outspoken advocate for residents most impacted by higher rates of lead exposure and asthma. He opposed Marathon Petroleum’s controversial request to increase emissions in southwest Detroit and demanded a safer learning environment for city schoolchildren. His final day is Feb. 17.

The Detroit Democrat, who holds a doctorate in public health, said the bid for public office would be his first. His decision, he said, is fueled by concerns over state leadership in the wake of the lead-tainted water crisis in Flint as well as policies already unfolding in Washington, D.C., under Republican President Donald Trump.

Last month, Trump ordered a controversial ban on travel for immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries wracked by terrorism including Iran, Iraq and Syria.

“I pursued this career path because I believe in the dignity of humanity and we should give our lives to protecting and promoting that,” said El-Sayed, the son of Egyptian immigrants who said he understands the challenges of growing up in America as a minority.

“We need to rethink government rather than a business that cuts costs at the expense of people, but as an entity that we are all a part of, and that we all contribute to, that provides for us all. That responsibility has never been more acute to me. I felt like I should leave my role in Detroit to very honestly and seriously consider that.”

El-Sayed is poised to join a field of Democrats that includes former Michigan Senate minority leader Gretchen Whitmer of East Lansing. U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee, D-Flint Township, also is eyeing a run.

Democratic political consultant Joe DiSano said Thursday both Whitmer and Kildee would be strong candidates in a general election. But he doesn’t think any candidate has the nomination locked down.

“I do think there’s an opening for other candidates to join the field,” said DiSano of Lansing-based DiSano Strategies. “The Democratic Party is in desperate need of new blood, so I would encourage him to test the waters, see if people respond to what he’s saying and then move on with the campaign if he gets the answers that he wants.”

Susan Demas, editor of Inside Michigan Politics, added El-Sayed isn’t widely known, but the last election proved “old rules don’t necessarily apply,” and there’s room for nontraditional candidates. Trump’s November victory in Michigan shows people are willing to take a gamble, she said.

“People are willing to press their luck with somebody who will bring real change,” she said. “That could create an opening for any number of candidates, and it’s something for establishment candidates to keep in mind.”

El-Sayed joined the city in September 2015. He took the reins of health care services about a year after they returned to Detroit’s health department after being dismantled a couple years prior amid complaints it was bogged down in bureaucracy.

He led reorganization of the office that went from a staff of five city employees and 85 contractors to an operation now staffed with 220 city workers.

Mayor Mike Duggan on Thursday said he’s pleased with the job El-Sayed has done to rebuild Detroit’s health department and wished him well in his next endeavor.

“There are a lot of talented people here who are driven to careers in public service, and Abdul is pursuing his dream and I wish him the best,” Duggan told The News.

El-Sayed is credited with initiating a management shakeup within Detroit’s formerly troubled Detroit Animal Control office and demanding new protocols. The changes came amid scrutiny over the office’s kill rate and claims of unsanitary conditions and exorbitant fees. Today, dog bite cases are down, adoptions are up and staff has settled in at a new facility.

He launched programs to train women as peer mentors to reduce infant mortality and address unintended teen pregnancies. He also implemented stringent lead testing procedures for all city schools.................................................

Guy Williams, president and CEO of Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice, said El-Sayed’s work on environmental policy has been the most meaningful he’s seen from the administration in more than two decades.

“He’s been a great champion for issues that I hold dear,” Williams said.

El-Sayed has made strides in shaping environmental policy, elevating programs and coming up with solutions to long-standing problems in Detroit, he said.

“I anticipate a super-strong environmental agenda,” he said. “At a minimum, just having him as a candidate will afford an opportunity for these ideas to be seen and understood.”

El-Sayed earned degrees in political science and biology from the University of Michigan and delivered the senior commencement address alongside President Bill Clinton.

Later, he was selected to study as a Rhodes scholar at England’s Oxford University, where he earned a doctorate. He then earned a medical degree at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and a doctorate in public health.

Before returning to Detroit, he served as a professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Columbia University.

“I am a doctor, educator and a public servant,” he said. “... and it’s who I will be as an elected official if I am so chosen by the people of this great state.”

Connie Kelly, who taught El-Sayed’s eighth grade math class at Bloomfield Hills Middle School, said he remains as driven now as he was then.

“He has, without question, the dedication and the intelligence to do absolutely anything he wants to do. But the most important thing in my mind is that he cares very deeply about people,” said Kelly of West Bloomfield.

El-Sayed said his parents came to the United States because they believed in the American ideals. So does he.

“I am focused on building a strong campaign that unites rather than divides, inspires rather than scares, and I think we can do that,” he said.

State records show several other other major-party but low-profile candidates have filed for the race since 2015, when Snyder began his second term. They are Republicans Jim Hines, a Saginaw-area obstetrician, Mark McFarlin of Pinconning, and Evan Sebastian Space of Grand Rapids as well as Democrats William Cobbs of Farmington Hills and Kentiel White of Southgate.

Michigan Lt. Gov. Brian Calley and Attorney General Bill Schuette are considered likely front-runners for the Republican gubernatorial nomination, should they enter the 2018 race.

Meet 'next Obama' groomed to make political history

At the Thanksgiving dinner table, “which is a very diverse dinner table,” hosted by he and his wife Sarah, he said his family includes a Presbyterian deacon from Flint, an imam from Egypt and an atheist-Polish uncle who is a professor at Michigan.

“And they share hard conversations about life in American and they don’t always agree, but they respect and love each other…they share a common future that brings them together. And as Michiganders, so do we.”

Manaserri says the Muslim Brotherhood would never support a candidate that didn’t have tons of money behind him and that they did not believe “has a real chance of winning.”

“Any Republican would be afraid to confront him on his Muslim Brotherhood connections or his views on Shariah,” Manasseri said. “He is a devout Shariah-compliant guy, and I would predict that he will be endorsed by the Catholic Church, which is very powerful in Michigan.”

Manasseri points out that a bill supporting American Law for American Courts, widely regarded as an anti-Shariah law, was defeated in the Michigan Legislature when two powerful lobbies – the Michigan Catholic Conference and the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR – teamed up to kill it. He expects the same coalition to form behind a candidate who would make history as America’s first Muslim governor.

“So if this guy rises in the polls, I would predict the Catholic Church will support his candidacy,” he said. “Just like with Obama, because we gotta make history.”

“It’s Obama II,” Manasseri said.

Funny how no 'unmasking' was done for the Hillary campaign
By Jack Hellner
Why hasn't anyone asked James Clapper, James Comey or Susan Rice why no calls were inadvertently picked up on Hillary Clinton or any of her campaign team? If the government was worried about collusion, wouldn't they listen in on both sides?

Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice went to that probing investigative reporter Andrea Mitchell for her only interview. Mitchell asked Rice if the leaking or unmasking was done for political reasons. Rice was offended and she said no one from the Obama Administration would dream of doing that for political reasons. Then Mitchell said did you leak anything and the brilliant Rice said I didn't leak nothing on nobody. Andrea then must have thought, I did my job and we know Susan has never lied before.

CNN and a lot of the media aren't covering the Rice story at all but when the Associated Press, the New York Times and others report it, many say that the Trump administration is trying to divert attention from the Trump-Russia collusion story. The media presents the Trump-Russia collusion story as true even though there is absolutely nothing yet to show that. They present the claim that Trump was spied on as a false story even though we have 100% proof that Trump people were listened to and that the information was leaked to the press.

Anyone who believes that Trump wasn't specifically targeted for political reasons probably still believes the Benghazi killings were caused by a video, that Obama had no idea that IRS was targeting political opponents, that Obama had no idea that Hillary was violating the law by using a non secure server until three years after she left, that Obama had no idea that his administration was gun running to Mexico and that Hillary and her aides had no intent to break the law.

The media and Democrats should be absolutely ashamed that they haven't had any concern about facts for a long time. If there is any collusion it is between the media and Democrats to destroy Trump no matter what the facts are.

Rick Perry added to National Security Council’s core decision-makers
Philip Jankowski American-Statesman Staff

1:23 p.m Wednesday, April 5, 2017

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry has been added to a core group within the National Security Council in a shakeup of members announced on Wednesday.

Perry, the secretary of energy, was one of several officials added to the principals committee, the primary group of policy-makers for national security.

Steve Bannon, President Donald Trump’s chief strategist, was removed from the principals committee.

Perry, who served as Texas governor from 2000 to 2015, was confirmed as energy secretary in March.

The change emerged in a memo made public on the federal register on Wednesday.

Adding Perry to the NSC’s principals committee now brings the cabinet official in charge of the nation’s nuclear stockpile into the fold. The lion’s share of the Energy Department’s budget goes toward the National Nuclear Security Administration, which deals with the military application of nuclear science.

Perry unsuccessfully ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016 and in 2012. During his 2012 run, he included the Energy Department among three government agencies he wanted to abolish.

Perry also becomes the first former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant with a high-level seat at the table to decide national security matters for the United States.

at first look, i kinda like this change. ill be looking into it further as time goes.
but im sure the looneyleftys will be having another hayday with this...better buckle up!

Legendary Investigative Journalist Claims Hillary Approved Sale of Sarin Nerve Gas to Syria

The great investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, has written extensively about the U.S. governments involvement in Syria and has sought to expose the corruption perpetrated by the Obama administration.

Hersh alleges that the U.S. government, including Hillary Clinton, helped approve and get Sarin nerve gas from Libya to the Syrian “rebels.”

Zero Hedge reported:

“By the terms of the agreement, funding came from Turkey, as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar; the CIA, with the support of MI6, was responsible for getting arms from Gaddafi’s arsenals into Syria.”

However, now, for the first time, Hersh has implicated Hillary Clinton directly in this ‘rat line’. In an interview with Alternet.org, Hersh was asked about the then-US-Secretary-of-State’s role in the Benghazi Libya US consulate’s operation to collect weapons from Libyan stockpiles and send them through Turkey into Syria for a set-up sarin-gas attack, to be blamed on Assad in order to ‘justify’ the US invading Syria, as the US had invaded Libya to eliminate Gaddafi. Hersh said:

“That ambassador who was killed, he was known as a guy, from what I understand, as somebody, who would not get in the way of the CIA. As I wrote, on the day of the mission he was meeting with the CIA base chief and the shipping company. He was certainly involved, aware and witting of everything that was going on. And there’s no way somebody in that sensitive of a position is not talking to the boss, by some channel”.

Whether or not this is true has yet to be proven, but when a story like this comes from someone like Hersh, it should at least at the very minimum command the attention of the American public who should demand a thorough investigation.

‘You are to be destroyed. Pure and simple. There is no compromise’

(WND) – “The way the left behaves today – in virtually everything that they do – do you realize how close it is to radical Islam?” asked talk-radio star Rush Limbaugh on his Wednesday show.

Of course, Limbaugh graciously made one exception: “You know, minus the terrorism.”

He then presented a laundry list of similarities shared by both to make his point:

For the kind of Islamists we’re talking about, the Shariah Islamists, there is no authority but Islam.

To the left, there is no authority but themselves. They respect and recognize no other authority.

They don’t recognize the authority of elections.

They don’t recognize the authority of public opinion.

They don’t recognize the authority of the Constitution, even though they all swear an oath.

What the Media Isn’t Telling You About Yesterday’s Chemical Attack in Syria
Darius Shahtahmasebi, ALTERNATIVE OPINION

by Darius Shahtahmasebi, The Anti-Media --

On Tuesday, yet another chemical weapons attack occurred in Syria. This particular attack took place in the Idlib province, and dozens have reportedly died as a result.

Syria is no stranger to chemical weapons attacks. In 2013, there were two notably devastating attacks, both of which the Obama administration used to try to justify a direct strike on the Assad government.

The U.N. thoroughly investigated the first 2013 attack. The U.N Commission of Inquiry’s Carla Del Ponte ultimately said the evidence indicated the attack was carried out by the Syrian rebels — not the Syrian government. Despite this, support for the Syrian rebels from the U.S. and its allies only increased, raising serious questions about Obama’s sincerity when condemning chemical attacks.

Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh found the second major attack was committed in a similar manner. Hersh found that the U.S. quite deliberately attempted to frame the evidence to justify a strike on Assad without even considering al-Nusra, a terror group with access to nerve agents that should have been a prime suspect.

In 2016, the U.N. concluded that the Syrian government had, indeed, used chemical weapons during the years-long conflict, but that ISIS had, too. This is in light of the fact that in 2013, the U.N. also declared that the regime no longer possessed chemical weapons.

These facts are largely missing from any serious commentary on the most recent attack in Syria. Despite these reports being accessible and available, the world has instead decided to blatantly ignore them and rush to blame Assad once again. It is also worth noting that one of the sources blaming Syria and/or Russia for this attack is the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), an organization run by a single anti-Assad dissident in Coventry, England. Having these claims bolstered by the White Helmets does nothing to aid its credibility given the group’s leadership is reportedly driven by a “pro-interventionist agenda conceived by the Western governments and public relations groups that back them,” according to Alternet.

Yet without directly confirming any of the intelligence, the media and politicians are out in full force condemning the Assad government. As of this article’s publication, the Guardian has three top headlines: one reporting on the attack and the next two condemning Assad directly (see here and here).

Even a New Zealand newspaper, the New Zealand Herald, ran an ambitious article entitled “Donald Trump is the only leader who can stop Syrian atrocities.” No – it is not The Onion.

In the article, the writer ignores all of the aforementioned reports regarding attacks in 2013, claiming that in that year, “the Syrian regime used sarin.” She also claims “Obama did nothing” in response.

The claim that Obama “did nothing” makes no sense. In 2016 alone, Obama dropped over 26,000 bombs — almost half of which landed in Syria. These bombs also rained on Syrian troops in direct violation of international law. As president, Obama also oversaw the CIA’s expenditures of about $1 billion a year training Syrian rebels.

As fears of “fake news” perpetuated by both the mainstream media and the president threaten our democratic institutions, how else can we describe these biased reports on Syria, if not “fake news?” News should be based on evidence, not molded around a foreign policy agenda of regime change.

Perhaps the Syrian government did use chemical weapons in a stupid move that would immediately attract international condemnation and calls for war just days after the U.S. openly acknowledged they would consider leaving Assad alone. But what if the Syrian government wasn’t responsible, and the attack was, once again, committed by the Syrian rebels? Will the world unite and join Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard in her calls to stop arming terror groups in Syria?

Or is it that we only care about chemical weapons attacks if there is an indication that the Syrian government was behind it?

One should bear in mind that if the rebels did commit the attack, the U.S. could actually do something about it considering America and its allies actively support them. Withdrawing support for groups that resort to these tactics would contribute to Syria’s safety and security. This is not a concern, however, because it appears the media’s ultimate focus on this story is to garner support for further war and bloodshed in the Middle East — not less of it.

They don't discuss either of two things.

1) the truth

2) anything negative about the dems.

We need at least one unbiased, non partisan MSM outlet that will put out the truth. Good luck getting that to happen. Don't understand why not. Enough $$$$$$$$ people around that could start one. if not for their being petrified of CIA threats, who owns media along with the DNC.

FSB traitor with fake ID took CIA money to frame Russia

April 06, 2017
Claim: FSB traitor with fake ID took CIA money to frame Russia

According to the Daily Mail a senior Russian FSB agent recently charged with treason was using a fake identity and may have been working for the CIA

(VERO BEACH, FLA) Colonel Sergei Mikhailov was arrested in December on the charge that he leaked information to the US allegedly showing that the FSB hacked and meddled in the American presidential election.

A new report from TV channel REN claims Sergei Mikhailov was originally recruited by the CIA during a vacation in a Mediterranean country. They added, citing security services sources, that he was considered a high level cyber asset by American intelligence heads.

In addition, investigative newspaper Novaya Gazeta reported that Sergei Mikhailov used a fake identity for up to seven years, strengthening the claim he was operating as a CIA double agent.

'It was suspected that perhaps Mikhailov is not really called Mikhailov,' Novaya Gazeta reported. “Two sources pointed to him being 'a foreign intelligence mole inside the FSB’.”

The report by Novaya Gazeta stated that Sergei Mikhailov’s resume showed he was born in the ex-Soviet republic of Belarus and later came to Russia in the mid-1990’s, claiming citizenship, joining the FSB, and subsequently rising quickly through the ranks to the high position of department head in the FSB’s Center for Information Security.

“But an investigation carried out by respected veterans of the SVR foreign intelligence service, the FSB, and the Interior Ministry 'failed to find any evidence that Mikhailov was born and raised in Belarus’”, Novaya Gazeta reported.

“The startling conclusion of a 'man with no past' at the heart of the FSB's cyber operation was handed in a memorandum to the agency's leadership, along with suspicions that from 2010 he had been handing data to the Americans,” Novaya Gazeta continued.

“The dossier on Mikhailov was commissioned by an IT company with whom he had come into conflict,” Novaya Gazeta wrote. “Having realized that they had gone too far, the ex-officers...made a report about their "findings" and sent it to the FSB.”

Daily Mail Moscow correspondent Will Stewart was told by an unnamed Russian intelligence analyst that all these factors made Sergei Mikhailov a “spectacular asset” for the US.

“This dramatic scenario if confirmed poses significant questions on where he came from, who he is, a plant? How long he has been feeding the Americans,” the analyst told Stewart.

Russian news site Life.ru, which according to Stewart has close links to the FSB, reported separately that $12 million was seized from Sergei Mikhailov’s Moscow apartment and his country home — named a ‘dacha’ by the outlet.

To date, the Russian government has not provided the public with details regarding their case against Sergei Mikhailov, and his subordinate Dmitri Dokuchahaev, 33 — alias: Dokuchaev — a known former hacker who went by the nickname 'Forb' before being reportedly recruited into the FSB under the threat of prosecution for previous crimes. The secrecy is likely being employed , Stewart noted, because the investigation will ultimately lead to a close-door trail in military court.

A source told Stewart that both Sergei Mikhailov and Dmitri Dokuchahaev are being accused of having “violated their oath by cooperating with the CIA.”

In addition to the facing charges of treason in Russia, TRUNEWS reported in February thar Dmitri Dokuchahaev was indicted by Department of Justice (DOJ) under his alias name, Dmitry Aleksandrovich Dokuchaev, for his alleged involvement in the theft of information from 500 million Yahoo accounts in 2014, including those used by the U.S. military and major banks.

According to the warrant issued by the FBI, Dmitri Dokuchahaev is wanted for conspiring to commit computer fraud and abuse; accessing a computer without authorization for the purpose of commercial advantage and private financial gain; damaging a computer through the transmission of code and commands; economic espionage; theft of trade secrets; access device fraud; aggravated identity theft; and wire fraud.

Tsargrad TV levied the charge that Sergei Mikhailov is directly responsible for passing information to the CIA that was ultimately used by the Obama administration to make the conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.

They claimed that Mikhailov and his deputy Dmitri Dokuchahaev received regular cash payments from the CIA the passage of the data to Ruslan Stoyanov, a manager from the cybersecurity and anti-virus company Kaspersky Lab, who was also charged with treason by the Russian government in December.

Lastly, according to Stewart, Mikhailov is suspected of giving the US information on Vladimir Fomenko, 26, who is the owner of an internet company in the Altai region of Siberia called King Servers.

According to US cybersecurity company Threat-Connect, King Servers was allegedly used by unknown hackers to breach election system databases in Illinois and Arizona in 2016.

Rosbalt news agency reported that data provided by Mikhailov and his associates was transferred to “acquaintances abroad” who worked closely with foreign special services believed to be American.

'This is not a one-off story, this activity was carried out for a minimum of seven years and caused substantial harm to the interests of the Russian Federation,' Rosbalt source said.

Top Russian Cybercrimes Agent Arrested on Charges of Treason

By ANDREW E. KRAMERJAN. 25, 2017

A senior official in the Russian cyberintelligence department that American officials say oversaw last year’s election hacking has been arrested in Moscow on charges of treason, a Russian newspaper reported Wednesday.

The arrest of Sergei Mikhailov, a senior officer of the Federal Security Service, or F.S.B., the main successor agency to the K.G.B., is a rare instance of turmoil in the country’s usually shadowy cybersecurity apparatus slipping into public view.

Mr. Mikhailov served in the F.S.B.’s Center for Information Security, the agency’s cyberintelligence branch, which has been implicated in the American election hacking. But it is not clear whether the arrest was related to those intrusions.

He was detained along with one of Russia’s leading private-sector cybersecurity experts, Ruslan Stoyanov, the head of computer incident response investigations at the Kaspersky Lab, which makes antivirus programs.

The company confirmed in a statement that Mr. Stoyanov had been arrested, but said his arrest “has nothing to do with Kaspersky Lab and its operations.”

Still, the arrests of the men, who had cooperated in Russia to prosecute cybercriminals, shed light on the intersection of cybercrime, private antivirus companies and the Russian security services.

Western cybersecurity analysts have said there are indications that the security services recruited among criminal hackers to carry out politicized computer intrusions ahead of last summer’s hacking of the Democratic National Committee in the United States, giving the hackers impunity to commit financially motivated attacks in exchange for their expertise.

The arrest raised the possibility that Mr. Mikhailov and Mr. Stoyanov had interfered in this cooperation. The newspaper article, in Kommersant, which cited unidentified sources in Moscow’s technology industry and the F.S.B., said the treason charges related to work on criminal hacking investigations.

Alternatively, the detention of an official who would have been in a position to engage in the election hacking in America could indicate a good-will gesture to the United States, which has penalized Russia for the electoral meddling.

American intelligence agencies accused the F.S.B. and another Russian agency, the military’s Main Intelligence Directorate, or G.R.U., of hacking the Democratic National Committee and other electoral targets.

The sanctions targeted the two Russian intelligence agencies. But private American cybersecurity investigators say the F.S.B., where Mr. Mikhailov was the second-most senior figure in the Center for Information Security, operated a group nicknamed Cozy Bear that stole data but never released it. The G.R.U., the American cybersleuths say, operated a group called Fancy Bear that stole electronic data and released it in an effort to help Donald J. Trump win the presidential election.

If confirmed, the arrest would be one of the highest-profile detentions for treason within the F.S.B. since the breakup of the Soviet Union.

In another indication of high-level turmoil over cyberintelligence issues within the security agency, Kommersant reported on Jan. 13 that the director of the Center for Information Security, Andrei Gerasimov, would be fired. His termination was related to the investigation into the agency’s cooperation with Kaspersky on criminal hacking cases.

Mr. Gerasimov, who has led the Center for Information Security since 2009, was described as building close ties with companies like the Kaspersky Lab as an element in Russia’s cybersecurity policy. He is also the deputy director for counterintelligence at the F.S.B.

The F.S.B. did not respond to an email query about the arrests.

Hacker Is a Villain to Russia and the United States, for Different Reasons
By ANDREW E. KRAMERMARCH 16, 2017
https://static01.nyt.com/images/2017/03/17/world/17fsbagent2/17fsbagent2-master180.jpg' />
The Justice Department announcing on Wednesday indictments of four defendants, including Dmitry A. Dokuchaev, on charges of hacking into Yahoo’s network system.

MOSCOW — Before United States prosecutors accused him of having orchestrated one of the largest computer thefts, Dmitry A. Dokuchaev’s legal problems were deepening in Russia, where he was once known by the hacker alias Forb and specialized in purloining credit card numbers.

Mr. Dokuchaev, a stocky 33-year-old who appears on an F.B.I. “wanted” poster wearing a blue suit and with a mop of sandy hair, is emerging as a central figure in fraught relations between the United States and Russia on cybersecurity issues.

Those relations went into a deep chill in December, when the Obama administration accused Russian intelligence agencies of having meddled in the 2016 election by hacking computers of the Democratic National Committee to help Donald J. Trump win.

Mr. Dokuchaev, a hacker-turned-security-officer in Russia, is a villain in the narratives of both countries about this conflict, for different reasons.

The Russians have accused him of becoming a double agent for the United States. The American authorities say he doubled as a cybercriminal while working for Russia’s Federal Security Service, or F.S.B., the main security and intelligence agency in the country.

Mr. Dokuchaev, who was arrested four months ago in Russia, is accused of treason, punishable by 20 years imprisonment, on suspicion of having passed information to the United States.

While the precise nature of that information is unclear, signs have emerged that it may be related, at least indirectly, to the American accusations of electoral hacking.

On Wednesday, federal prosecutors in Washington and San Francisco announced an indictment identifying Mr. Dokuchaev as one of the defendants in the theft of half a billion Yahoo accounts.

“He’s a guy without many options,” said Pavel Vrublevsky, a computer entrepreneur and owner of an online payment processing company in Russia who was investigated in 2011 by Mr. Dokuchaev when he worked as an F.S.B. officer.

The Kremlin on Thursday denied ties to criminal hacking. “We have repeatedly stated that there can be absolutely no question of any official agency, including the F.S.B., in any unlawful actions in cyberspace,” said Dmitri S. Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman.

Mr. Dokuchaev was arrested in December along with another officer in the Center for Information Security, the cyberintelligence wing of the F.S.B. The Russian authorities have offered no details of the charges, but Novaya Gazeta, a Russian newspaper, reported they had been arrested in an investigation into leaks that had led the F.B.I. to Russian servers linked to electoral hacking.

Regardless of the details, the Russian and American cases portend a bleak future for Mr. Dokuchaev, whose career encapsulates ties between criminal hackers and the security services in post-Soviet Russia.

By his own account, he once went by the hacker nickname Forb. According to a 2004 interview he gave to Vedomosti, a Russian newspaper, Mr. Dokuchaev, then 20, worked from home in the provincial city of Yekaterinburg, taking orders from anonymous clients to crash websites and steal passwords.

“I always believed that information should be free,” he told the newspaper. He also said carding, the online theft of credit card numbers, was the most profitable activity for Russian hackers, up to $30,000 a month, but was “the most dangerous cybercrime, punished mercilessly.”

Vitali Kremez, director of research at Flashpoint, a cybersecurity company in New York that monitors underground hacking forums, said that until a few years ago, Mr. Dokuchaev had been actively involved in the world of stolen credit cards.

On those forums, Mr. Dokuchaev inquired about buying skimmers, devices that allow thieves to steal credit card numbers as the cards are swiped. He also sought to buy encoders, used to transfer stolen card numbers onto new plastic cards.

In January, RBC, a Russian newspaper, reported that Mr. Dokuchaev’s prosecution for credit card fraud had been averted when he agreed to work for the F.S.B.

The evolution of a hacker into an F.S.B. officer was all but an open secret in Moscow. Until at least 2011, Mr. Dokuchaev was an editor of a Russian magazine titled Hacker, and he edited a section known as “Breaking In” under the byline Dmitry “Forb” Dokuchaev.

By 2010, Mr. Dokuchaev was already working for the F.S.B.’s Center for Information Security and aiding the prosecution of hackers accused of crashing the online payment system of Aeroflot airlines, according to Mr. Vrublevsky, who was a defendant in that case.

At the time, Russia was under diplomatic pressure from the United States and Canada to prosecute Mr. Vrublevsky on an unrelated charge of selling counterfeit Viagra pills to Americans through websites. Mr. Vrublevsky has denied ties to that scheme.

In the indictment unsealed on Wednesday, the United States authorities indicated that Mr. Dokuchaev’s group also had dabbled in spam marketing for erectile dysfunction drugs.

The American indictment contains no indication Mr. Dokuchaev played any role in Russian electoral hacking. But it identified him as having overseen the work of one of three others named in the indictment, a suspected cybercriminal, Aleksei Belan, whom the Obama administration had sanctioned in December after the United States intelligence agencies concluded Russia had tried to meddle in the election.

Mr. Vrublevsky said he believed the treason arrests that halted Mr. Dokuchaev’s career had been related to the Aeroflot case and other events predating the presidential election.

Amid diplomatic pressure from the United States and Canada to shut down the Viagra scheme, Mr. Vrublevsky said, Mr. Dokuchaev and a colleague had passed information about Russian hackers to the United States, later deemed treasonous.

The information included data on payments through WebMoney, a Russian version of PayPal, used later by American law enforcement investigators to follow the trail to Russian hackers, Mr. Vrublevsky said.

That data, he said, sharpened the Americans’ understanding of Russian hacking, which later aided the investigation of electoral hacking during the campaign.

“America calling him a cybercriminal doesn’t rule out his being a spy as well,” Mr. Vrublevsky said.

Cernovich Explains How He Learned About Susan Rice
by Tyler Durden
Apr 4, 2017 6:20 AM

Ever since Mike Cernovich dropped the bombshell report over the weekend outing Obama's National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, as the person behind the unmasking of the identity of various members of Trump's team who were 'incidentally' surveilled during the 2016 campaign (see "Confirmed: Susan Rice "Unmasked" Trump Team"), a report which was subsequently confirmed by Eli Lake of Bloomberg earlier this morning, everyone has been wondering who within the Trump White House or the intelligence community supplied him with such a massive scoop.

But, as it turns out, Cernovich didn't need a 'deep throat' within the NSA or CIA for his blockbuster scoop, all he needed was some well-placed sources inside of a couple of America's corrupt mainstream media outlets. As Cernovich explains below, his sources for the Susan Rice story were actually folks working at Bloomberg and the New York Times who revealed that both Eli Lake (Bloomberg) and Maggie Haberman (NYT) were sitting on the Susan Rice story in order to protect the Obama administration.
ADVERTISING

"Maggie Haberman had it. She will not run any articles that are critical of the Obama administration."

"Eli Lake had it. He didn't want to run it and Bloomberg didn't want to run it because it vindicates Trump's claim that he had been spied upon. And Eli Lake is a 'never Trumper.' Bloomberg was a 'never Trump' publication."

"I'm showing you the politics of 'real journalism'. 'Real journalism' is that Bloomberg had it and the New York Times had it but they wouldn't run it because they don't want to run any stories that would make Obama look bad or that will vindicate Trump. They only want to run stories that make Trump look bad so that's why they sat on it."

"So where did I get the story? I didn't get it from the intelligence community. Everybody's trying to figure out where I got it from. I got it from somebody who works in one of those media companies. I have spies in every media organization. I got people in news rooms. I got it from a source within the news room who said 'Cernovich, they're sitting on this story, they're not going to run it, so you can run it'."

"If you're at Bloomberg, I have people in there. If you're at the New York Times, I have people in there. LA Times, Washington Post, you name it, I have my people in there. I got IT people in every major news room in this country. The IT people see every email so that's how I knew it."

And while this could certainly be interpreted as a clever ploy to protect his real sources, Cernovich's video comments seem to be validated by both his tweet from yesterday afternoon...

...and the fact that Eli Lake of Bloomberg was able to conveniently confirm Cernovich's story with his own article this morning.

All of which just begs the question of what other stories the mainstream media is sitting on in an effort to protect their chosen candidates.

Graphic Photos: Islamic State Throws Iraqi Man Accused of Homosexuality from Rooftop
Islamic State Telegram
by Ali Waked1 Apr 2017

The Islamic State organization recently published pictures of the “sentencing” of a man suspected of homosexuality.

The organization’s headquarters in Iraq’s Nineveh district said in a statement that it carried out the provisions of Shariah Islamic law against men who are guilty of “the transgression of homosexuality.”

In the pictures (see above and below), an IS gunman is seen reading out the “indictment” to a crowd of bystanders and IS activists, after which a “defendant” was thrown to his death from a nearby rooftop.

Nineveh is the district in which the battle of Mosul is taking place, pitting IS forces against the Iraqi army and troops of the US-led international coalition.

The man’s “crime” was likely committed in the city where IS is fighting to keep its foothold in the wake of six months of bloody fighting.

However, IS’ propaganda organ insists on showing that it is unfazed by the offensive, and remains committed to spreading Sharia and Islamic rule.

Simultaneously, IS disseminated pictures of the organization’s mosques and charity unit in action in the southern Syrian town of Sahmam Aliawlan, showing the activists handing out religious material, giving lessons in local mosques and renovating houses of worship.

From the city of Raqqa, where IS also struggles to fend off a US- and Russian-backed Kurdish offensive, the organization published pictures of day-to-day commercial activity. However, unlike similar campaigns in the past, the pictures did not include a plethora of patrons.

At the direction of the president, U.S. forces conducted a cruise missile strike against a Syrian Air Force airfield today at about 8:40 p.m. EDT (4:40 a.m., April 7, in Syria). The strike targeted Shayrat Airfield in Homs governorate, and were in response to the Syrian government’s chemical weapons attack April 4 in Khan Sheikhoun, which killed and injured hundreds of innocent Syrian people, including women and children.

The strike was conducted using Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) launched from the destroyers USS Porter and USS Ross in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. A total of 59 TLAMs targeted aircraft, hardened aircraft shelters, petroleum and logistical storage, ammunition supply bunkers, air defense systems, and radars. As always, the U.S. took extraordinary measures to avoid civilian casualties and to comply with the Law of Armed Conflict. Every precaution was taken to execute this strike with minimal risk to personnel at the airfield.

The strike was a proportional response to Assad’s heinous act. Shayrat Airfield was used to store chemical weapons and Syrian air forces. The U.S. intelligence community assesses that aircraft from Shayrat conducted the chemical weapons attack on April 4. The strike was intended to deter the regime from using chemical weapons again.

Russian forces were notified in advance of the strike using the established deconfliction line. U.S. military planners took precautions to minimize risk to Russian or Syrian personnel located at the airfield.

We are assessing the results of the strike. Initial indications are that this strike has severely damaged or destroyed Syrian aircraft and support infrastructure and equipment at Shayrat Airfield, reducing the Syrian Government’s ability to deliver chemical weapons. The use of chemical weapons against innocent people will not be tolerated.

Wife Of Muslim Immigrant Yells “F**K AMERICA!” At Spouse’s Deportation Hearing For Welfare Fraud
Posted by Melissa Davis

Americans are repeatedly told they have to welcome poor, persecuted Muslim immigrants – legal or not – to come to our country for a better life, and failing to do so makes them cruel, Islamaphobic haters.

They may be growing tired of the lecture, especially when they are literally “flipped off” by a Muslim family after a district attorney was brave enough to file charges against the father for running a fraud operation out of his deli.

It may be an accepted business practice in the Muslim world to steal, cheat and defraud the government, but Ahmed Alshami, 37, is learning that we do things differently here in America – and he’s learning it the hard way.

Apparently, his wife and daughter are not happy about it.

Outside a Buffalo, New York courtroom where Alshami was arraigned on various charges, his burqua-clad wife looked into a television camera and asked defiantly, “Are you happy now? F&*& you. F&*& America,” while the couple’s daughter signaled her displeasure with the American legal system by extending the middle finger of each hand.

Alshami, the owner of an IGA Express Mart is held on $2 million bail after being charged with engaging in a criminal scheme to misuse food stamp cards for the purpose of defrauding the government.

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Alshami bought food stamp cards from welfare recipients at half-price, then used the cards to purchase inventory for his deli at low-price, “big box” stores like Walmart, selling the lower-priced goods at a large profit.

The scheme was in place for at least 18-months.

Alshami was also charged with burglary for stealing kitchen cabinets, a baseboard heating system and a hot water tank from a vacant home for use in his store.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The female members of the illegal family are not the only ones who like to “flip the bird” at Americans.

Alshami posted a picture of himself in that pose last year with a Facebook post directed to local residents who had complained about illegal activities taking place at his corner deli.

“We will stay open regardless of what you want… Long stay the Arab stores… We are gonna stay here and make this money! So try to shut us down,” he dared.

Alshami has also been charged in the past with possession of crack cocaine.

Just a simple, hardworking family we should be happy to welcome into our neighborhoods.

Might be why Trump attacked Syria ... so he could count on McCains and Graham's votes.

Final count was 54-45.

McCain's and Graham's votes were not relevant.

Stockholm terror attack: Manhunt underway after truck plows into shopping center killing 3
Published April 07, 2017 FoxNews.com

Homeland Security monitoring truck crash in Sweden crowd

A manhunt is underway for the driver of a large beer truck that plowed into a department store in central Stockholm on Friday, killing at least three and injuring many.

Stockholm police denied previous reports that a man had been arrested at the scene, saying that the driver had not been found.

"We have no contact with the person or persons who drove the truck," Sweden's top police chief, Dan Eliasson, told a news conference.

Sky News reported that police believed the man had run away towards the subway station. All subway traffic has been halted.

Police would not confirm how many people had been killed or injured. Local media reports varied from two people up to five.

"Sweden has been attacked. Everything points to the fact that this is a terrorist attack," Prime Minister Stefan Lofven told reporters during a visit in western Sweden.

In a statement Friday, they said that they cannot exclude this is an act of terror based on other events in Europe.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Friday's attack, but vehicles have been common weapons in recent extremist attacks.

SWEDEN TRUCK ATTACK FOLLOWS STRING OF SIMILAR VEHICLE ASSAULTS

Police said a truck ran over a crowd at Ahlens department store around 9 a.m. EST, injuring a large number of people.

People in the downtown area fled in panic, and Stockholm's Central Station for trains and the subway, which is a few hundred yards from the scene, was evacuated.

Spokeswoman Towe Hagg would not confirm reports of shots fired in other parts of the city.

A government source told Reuters all Swedish government offices had been closed. All ministers were safe, the source said.

Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf said in a brief statement that the Swedish royal family had noted the attack "with dismay" and sent condolences to the families of the victims and injured.

"We follow developments but as of now our thoughts go to the victims and their families," he said.

Homeland security officials say they are monitoring the situation.

Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman said the German government's "thoughts are with the people in Stockholm, the injured, the relatives, first responders and police."

Steffen Seibert said Friday on Twitter following the apparent attack in Sweden: "We stand together against terror."

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a telegram of condolence to Sweden's monarch saying "Russians mourn together with the people of Sweden."

A photo circulated on social media of a man being arrested at the scene. It is unclear who the was man.

Friday's crash is near the site of a December 2010 attack in which Taimour Abdulwahab, a Swedish citizen who lived in Britain, detonated a suicide bomb, killing himself and injuring two others.

Abdulwahab rigged a car with explosives in the hope that the blast would drive people to Drottninggatan — the street hit Friday — where he would set off devices strapped to his chest and back. The car bomb never went off, and Abdulwahab died when one of his devices exploded among panicked Christmas shoppers.

President Trump has now done an about face and is now kicking his conservative advisers out and putting in Liberal globalists, and is now betraying his Conservative voters. He promised during his campaign that he would not engage in regime change, and he is doing it on the basis of a CIA sponsored ISIS false flag operation. The rebels Trump is supposed to be fighting did it. Instead of fighting them, he attacks Assad. Assad did not gas his own people. Hillary Clinton, while in the State Department had shipped poison gas from Libya to the rebels in Syria for use against Assad and his people. And it was not nerve gas, it was chlorine gas, and the rebels announced that it would happen one day before the event.Trump has not betrayed his conservative base and is now continuing Obama's war against Assad. President Trump has lost my support.See the links:

In a post on Facebook, Rusian prime minister Mr Medvedev said the air strike had "completely ruined relations" between the two superpowers. "That’s it. The last remaining election fog has lifted. Instead of an overworked statement about a joint fight against the biggest enemy, Isis (the Islamic State), the Trump administration proved that it will fiercely fight the legitimate Syrian government, in a tough contradiction with international law and without UN approval, in violation of its own procedures stipulating that the Congress must first be notified of any military operation unrelated to aggression against the US. On the verge of a military clash with Russia…One more thing. This military action is a clear indication of the US President’s extreme dependency on the opinion of the Washington establishment, the one that the new president strongly criticised in his inauguration speech. "Soon after his victory, I noted that everything would depend on how soon Trump’s election promises would be broken by the existing power machine. It took only two and a half months."
