David Garrow. One thing nobody expected was a chapter about the former President experimenting with homosexuality. The author Garrow talked about Obama’s relationship with an openly gay assistant professor, Lawrence Goldyn, while Obama was still in college.
“Goldyn made a huge impact on Barry Obama. Almost a quarter century later, asked about his understanding of gay issues, Obama enthusiastically said, ‘my favorite professor my first year in college was one of the first openly gay people that I knew…He was a terrific guy, said Obama.
Obama went on to say that they developed a a “friendship beyond the classroom.” “Goldyn years later would remember that Obama ‘was not fearful of being associated with me’ in terms of ‘talking socially’ and ‘learning from me’ after as well as in class,” explained the author.
“Three years later, Obama wrote somewhat elusively to his first intimate girlfriend that he had thought about and considered gayness, but ultimately had decided that a same-sex relationship would be less challenging and demanding than developing one with the opposite sex,” Garrow wrote. That seems like a bizarre reason to choose women over men.
“But there is no doubting that Goldyn gave eighteen-year-old Barry a vastly more positive and uplifting image of gay identity and self-confidence than he had known in Honolulu,” said Garrow.

HARD TRUTH: How Gun Control Ends Up Every Single Time

And if you oppose them, you may get death threats. Robert Gehl recently reported that a professor at an Ohio college in under investigation for calling for the murder of NRA members.
On June 13, Professor James Pearce, who teaches at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro, wrote the following:
“Look, there’s only one solution. A bunch of us anti-gun types are going to have to arm ourselves, storm the NRA headquarters in Fairfax, VA, and make sure there are no survivors,” James Pearce wrote in a Facebook post on June 13. “This action might also require coordinated hits at remote sites, like Washington lobbyists. Then and only then will we see some legislative action on assault weapons. Have a nice day.”
A local newspaper reported that Professor Pearce’s comments were forwarded to law enforcement two days later.
A spokesman for the school said they wouldn’t comment on the case specifically, but provided some generalizations.
“In general, the college would alert local authorities about any threats that were made known to the college, especially any threats made to students, faculty or staff,” she explained. “We have a good working relationship with the police jurisdictions covering each of our four campuses, and trust they would follow their protocols for reporting to other agencies. As I understand it, a report does not necessarily mean an investigation.”
Cross said that “any criminal prosecution” of Professor Pearce would be grounds for dismissal.
The Highland County Press reports that on June 17, Gary Heaton, Southern State Community College Security and Emergency Response coordinator for Central Campus, said:
“Chief (Hillsboro Chief of Police Todd) Whited and (HPD Officer) Eric Daniels brought this to our attention early in the week, the Highland County Press reports. The Police Department received a complaint from a former SSCC student and then they informed SSCC.
“We discussed the proper avenue. I took the information to VP Dr. (Nicole) Roades, who would be his immediate supervisor,” Heaton said. “Chief Whited took the information to Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera, since the post was made in the county.
“Dr. Roades contacted the Ohio Attorney General. The sheriff sent the information to the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security. The Attorney General advised Dr. Roades to take no action until the Feds had completed an investigation.”
In addition to Boys and the SSCC Board of Trustees, The Highland County Press has asked Chief Whited, Sheriff Barrera and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office for comment.

Trump supporters fight back. Over the weekend, these free speech haters got a little taste of their own medicine when they tried to shut down a pro-Trump rally at Berkley. They literally got a beat down because the pro-Trump supporters didn’t merely shut up and cower in a corner.

TOWN’S PARADE CANCELED After Violent Antifa Radicals Threatened To Destroy And Attack

The irony in this entire cancellation of a tradition in Portland, Oregon is that now the Antifa (Anti Fascists) have pissed off the more moderate lefties. One group was going to speak at the parade event against white supremacy but now they won’t get the chance. It’s turning out that the Antifa group is more violent than any other radical group we’ve known. They’re even selling knives on their website!
A threatening email has derailed one of the Portland Rose Festival’s signature events, and spurred new debate about the ongoing political protests in Portland.
Organizers of the 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade announced Tuesday that the event will be canceled, for fear that the east Portland parade could be disrupted by “the type of riots which happen in downtown Portland.” (see video below)

Originally scheduled this Saturday, April 29, the parade is meant to highlight the local community and businesses along Southeast 82nd Avenue, aiming to turn around the negative perception many people have of the area. It started in 2007 and has since become a popular event on the Rose Festival calendar.
This year’s parade was once again set to feature the Multnomah County Republican Party as one of the many groups slated to march, but that inclusion drew ire from some of the city’s left-leaning protest groups.
At least two protests were planned for the day of the parade, one by Oregon Students Empowered and another by Direct Action Alliance. Both events were mentioned in an email sent to parade organizers on Saturday, threatening to shut down the event with hundreds of protesters in the street.
“You have seen how much power we have downtown and that the police cannot stop us from shutting down roads so please consider your decision wisely,” the anonymous email said, telling organizers they could cancel the Republican group’s registration or else face action from protesters. “This is non-negotiable.”
The parade is organized by the 82nd Avenue of Roses Business Association, a part of the neighborhood business organization Venture Portland. Representatives from neither organization returned calls for comment.
The cancelation isn’t necessarily a win for the protest groups. Jacob Bureros, an organizer with the Direct Action Alliance, said the organization – which intended to speak out against fascism and white supremacy during the parade – is sad to hear the news.
“We are disappointed that the parade was canceled,” he said. “We’re members of this community and this is an awesome parade.”
James Buchal, chairman of the Multnomah County Republican Party, said his group was ready to march despite the protesters. He said the party had no hand in cancelling the event, and was taken by surprise when they heard the news. After seeing the email last weekend, they had no plans to back out.
“We weren’t willing to just walk away quietly,” he said. “The next thing we knew the whole thing was canceled.”
The problem is the police said they couldn’t offer additional security for the parade so the organizers backed out. We know the Portland Police Department can move to stop this type of activity.

Yes, you read that title right. No, this is not a scam. Ted Cruz found a man to pay $14 billion dollars to build the wall that Donald Trump promised us.
Who is this man, you must be asking right about now?? His name is none other than the the drug lord himself, El Chapo. Think about it:
The fourteen billion dollars is ALREADY in the United States’ possession. We would no longer be forced to fight about who will pay for it, Mexico or US taxpayers….the solution is staring us in the face! Drug cartel money should rightly be used since they made so much of their money across the borders.
This would not only help eliminate the drug problems and illegal immigration, but it would also help fulfill one of President Trump’s biggest campaign promises.
Ted Cruz was right on the money with this one.

The Texas senator said that leveraging criminally forfeited assets from El Chapo and other Mexican cartel members and drug dealers can “offset the wall’s cost and make meaningful progress toward achieving President Trump’s stated border security objectives.”
Senator Cruz introduced the Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order (EL CHAPO) Act on Tuesday. “The U.S. Government is currently seeking the criminal forfeiture of more than $14 billion in drug proceeds and illicit profits from El Chapo, the former leader of the Sinaloa drug cartel who was recently extradited to the U.S. to face criminal prosecution for numerous alleged drug-related crimes, including conspiracy to commit murder and money laundering,” Cruz stated.
The Mexican government extradited the former Mexican drug kingpin in January, Breitbart Texas’ Ildefonso Ortiz reported. The move to an American prison cell followed months of court battles in Mexico and multiple escapes from prison by Guzman. As part of the agreement with Mexico, Guzman will not face the death penalty in the U.S. for his crimes. Prosecutors filed murder charges against the former drug lord in relation to the killings of a U.S. citizen and two relatives.

Trump One-Ups Press Corps, Makes Them Work on Night of Their Swanky Vainglorious Party

Every year, the White House press corps throws itself a party. Some 2,500 people pack into the Washington Hilton at Dupont Circle to eat overcooked steak and dry fish, pound alcohol by the gallon and hear some not-so-funny comedian spew a stream of liberal pablum.
I know. I've been to 20 of them. When I first started going, way back in the mid-1990s, I was a young reporter just agog that I'd been asked. In the ornate ballroom were a reporter's dream dining companions: A few Supreme Court justices, a gaggle of Cabinet members, even the president of the United States was there. Not exactly the Oscars, but incredible for a D.C. wonk.
But in those early years, there were also some Hollywood celebrities. Liberal Tinseltown loved Bill Clinton, perhaps even more after he had sex with a White House intern his daughter's age in the Oval Office. Still, it was an affair geared toward the working press dining with their sources, putting the knives away for just one night, and it was often a pleasant night.
Then, during the eight years of George W. Bush, the affair became far more muted. News organizations still invited celebrities (I met Tom Cruise once -- Tom Cruise!), but lots of them didn't want to be seen at what some considered a dinner honoring (if even tangentially) George W. It also got meaner. A lot meaner. Comedians took the opportunity to slam the president -- to his face. The evening began to get petty and partisan -- just the opposite of what it was supposed to be.
But the whole scene went crazy when rock star Barack Obama took office. Suddenly, a ticket to the night's event became as hot as one to the Academy Awards. Celebrities had their agents cold-calling news orgs, begging to get their clients invited. The pre- and post-parties multiplied until the entire week leading up to the Saturday night dinner was stacked with posh bashes.
Over Obama's two terms in office, the entertainment, usually comedians like Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers and Larry Wilmore, grew ever more skewed to the left. First, Obama would bash conservatives and Republicans, then the comedian would do the same thing (often, the jokester would quip that the president stole one of his jokes).
Inside the cavernous hall, the media would howl with delight at every barb directed at Republicans, but moan and groan when anyone made a joke about a liberal (which is a shame, because Nancy Pelosi is a joke writer's dream!). The disparity grew and grew over my years attending. By the end, 90 percent of the room would cheer at GOP-bashing joke. The whole affair went from a dressy evening with a few edgy jokes thrown in to an all-out smashfest against conservatives.
About this time it became downright embarrassing to be there. Sure, seeing all my idiot friends in the press corps dressed up in evening gowns or tuxedoes was amusing, but the night had this very odd feel to it -- especially as a conservative. Of course, we usually didn't get a table too close to the front (those all go to liberal mainstream "news" outlets), but a certain animosity bubbled up and pervaded the evening's festivities.
This year is all different. President Trump, who was skewered at a 2011 dinner -- just, you know, for the fun of it -- announced in February that he wasn't going to attend. Then, his whole staff said, ditto. And that parade of pretentious limousine liberals from Hollywood? A lot of them are staying home, too, lest it seem that they actually like Trump.
The White House Correspondents' Association couldn't even line up a decent entertainer. Usually the featured guests is announced months before the April dinner; this time, he was picked just two weeks ago, and it's a guy from the “Daily Show” named Hasan Minhaj, the Washington Post reports.

“I feel bad, because a lot of White House reporters are going to have to go and cover that and not come to our own dinner,” Julie Mason. a SiriusXM host and former WHCA board member, told The Hill.
“It’s one thing for him to stay home, and that was fine. And he can just tweet about us and be mean, and that would be kind of funny, and it would feel right. But for him to stage a competing event — we just can’t even have our dinner? We just can’t even do that?”
But one thing is for sure: THe WHCA dinner will never be the same. And that's a good thing.

“I can tell you that there is a payment plan in place with the IRS tax liens,” he said. “I can tell you we are working to settle all debt that I have.”
El-Shabazz would not say what, if any, payments he had made toward the debts.
He said the debts did not interfere with his work in the last seven months, when he served as District Attorney Seth Williams’ top deputy, before resigning from that $165,576-per-year post last week.
Williams this month dropped his bid for a third term, amid swirling controversy driven by an ongoing federal investigation into his personal and political finances, and his long-delayed reporting of accepting more than $175,000 in gifts from 2010 to 2015.

Just as he has done with practically everything else since Donald Trump was inaugurated Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is making his decisions based on politics rather than what’s good for the United States. In recent weeks he has insisted he was willing to shut down the government if funding for the border wall with Mexico was still in the continuing funding resolution. Yet in 2006– before he was the leader of the senate opposition, and before Donald Trump was president, Chuck Schumer voted in favor of the Secure Fence Act.
Eighty senators in total voted for the secure fence act, twenty-six out of the forty-four Democrats voted in favor of the bill (one, Ted Kennedy did not vote). Eleven years later some of those Democratic Senators are still serving in the upper body and one Democratic Party member of the house who voted in favor of the secure fence act is now in the senate. They include;
Other notable Democrats who supported the bill in the Senate included Senator Joe Biden, Senator Hillary Clinton, and Senator Barack Obama.
So what’s the difference between then and now? There are only two I could find.
The first is that the 2006 proposal was for a double layered fence with barbed-wire on top, and room for a security vehicle to patrol between the layers (see below) The 2017 proposal is for a wall; 30 feet tall, that will meet requirements for aesthetics, anti-climbing, and resistance to tampering or damage.
The only other difference is that Donald Trump is President. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has been doing whatever he could to throw roadblock in front of the new administration. He slow walked each and every cabinet pick so the new president wouldn’t have the benefit of cabinet secretaries to help him serve the public.
Schumer also sacrificed the filibuster on supreme court picks, as he led a filibuster on Neil Gorsuch, even though he knew that Mitch McConnell would go for the nuclear option and Gorsuch would be approved anyway.
Such is Chuck Schumer…the needs of America do not matter, the needs of New York State do not matter–in fact the only thing that matters to Chuck Schumer is sating the extreme left-wing of the Democratic Party by making the GOP look bad. He should be ashamed of himself.

I talked with a resident in the E R a few years back, when he was doing his residency up there at Hanaman Hospital, he got robbed and assaulted right outside on his way home. U.N. Tells Trump: Repealing Obamacare Illegal And We Won’t Allow It

Dana Milbank reports, with glee, that the United Nations “has contacted the Trump administration as part of an investigation into whether repealing [Obamacare] without an adequate substitute for the millions who would lose health coverage would be a violation of several international conventions that bind the United States.” The warning comes from the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner on Human Rights in Geneva.
The U.N. Human Rights Commission (now known as the Human Rights Council) purports to “uphold the highest standards in the promotion and protection of human rights,“ Its members include China, Cuba, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela.
The “High Commissioner’s” office warning that Obamacare repeal/replacement might be illegal comes in a letter to the Trump administration. The Commissioner asked that the letter be shared with majority and minority leadership in both chambers of Congress. It also proposed that “the wider public should be alerted to the potential implications of the above-mentioned allegations.” According to Milbank, the White House has not shared the letter with Congress, much less “alerted the wider public.”
The public should be alerted, and alarmed, that the U.N. is attempting to dictate our domestic policy. The “High Commissioner’s” letter shows that signing broadly worded international agreements allows foreign countries, including some of the world’s worst dictatorship, to accuse us of violating the law. We should sign no more of them.

The Unscientific Claims of the March for Science

The posters were wittier and there were fewer pink hats but last weekend’s March for Science was no less about partisan grandstanding and name calling than any other political rally. The message this time? We are pro-science and anyone who disagrees with us is anti-science. As if there are people out there burning copies of Scientific American and picketing the beaker factory. Down with the theory of relativity!
Marchers allege “an alarming trend toward discrediting scientific consensus and restricting scientific discovery.” They are fighting for “science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest.” For all its lofty rhetorical appeal, however, the argument suffers from glaring flaws in logic.
The Marcher for Science conflates scientific findings with public policy choices. Science informs but does not dictate public policy. To paraphrase Philosopher David Hume, what is does not determine what ought to be.
A few examples: Scientific research shows that the death penalty has a deterrent effect on criminal behavior. This finding, however, cannot speak to the complex moral and legal arguments over capital punishment.
Scientific research shows that vaccines safely prevent the spread of viruses. This fact informs but does not spell out vaccination requirements for public schools. Should there be health or religious exemptions? Science cannot weigh issues of common good and individual freedom. That’s for the public and its elected leaders to debate.
Scientific research shows children raised in families with a biological mother and father fare better on health and education outcomes than those raised in other family arrangements. Should the government subsidize marriage programs? Should it discourage adoption by individuals or gay couples? Should government do nothing and let community and faith-based organizations support marriage health? Science cannot answer these questions. Support for or opposition to these policies does not make one pro- or anti-science.
Scientific research shows that a new plant, animal, or human life begins when gametes meet and the new life begins to grow. Science, however, cannot determine whether the government should protect the lives of any human, plant, or animal. That is a matter of public policy. Scientific consensus does not equal public policy consensus.
Science cannot “uphold the common good.” It is morally neutral—or at least it should be. The same scientific process that produced the polio vaccine, CRISPR gene editing, and dwarf wheat produced Zyklon B, the atom bomb, and methamphetamine. Similarly, “evidence based policies in the public interest” are not for scientists to decide but for political leaders, think tanks, commentators, and the people themselves to determine based on scientific findings, budget constraints, economic impacts, ethical considerations, constitutionality, and other costs and benefits.
Because the earth has warmed 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit over the past century and carbon emissions have contributed to that warming does not automatically justify wind subsidies or participation in the Paris Agreement. Advocates of these policy prescriptions must persuade the public that they are needed and are preferable to other choices. Wrapping their policy preferences in the righteous quest to vindicate science from the ignorant masses isn’t going to do it. Scientific research shows that calling people stupid makes them less—not more—receptive to persuasion.

The Spy Behind 'Trump Dossier' Admits to Judge That It’s 'Raw' and Unverified Intel

The scandalous ‘dossier’ on Donald Trump that was leaked to reporters and published by BuzzFeed was unverified, “raw intelligence,” according to the former spy responsible for it.
Now, Christopher Steele is also blaming the news outlet that published the salacious, 35-page report and an alleged hacker for the whole sordid episode, which blew up right before the presidential inauguration.
The ‘dirty dossier,’ linked to a Democratic opposition research outfit called Fusion GPS, was widely believed to be flawed — especially when Trump’s attorney, one of the dossier's targets, was alleged to have had a secret meeting with Russians in Prague and was verifiably in the U.S. at the time.
Washington Times reporter Rowan Scarborough reports that since the former MI6 spymaster is being sued for defamation, court documents show he’s doing a lot of backpedaling:
Mr. Steele acknowledges that the part of the 35-page dossier that identified Mr. Gubarev as a rogue hacker came from “unsolicited intelligence” and “raw intelligence” that “needed to be analyzed and further investigated/verified.”
The Washington Times reports that Steele blamed BuzzFeed News and the man for whom he alleged hacked the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Aleksej Gubarev. The Daily Mail reports that Gubarev is suing both BuzzFeed and Steele for defamation.
The New York Times reports that the FBI was so alarmed by the supposed connections between Trump and the Russians that agents made a secret deal to pay $50,000 to Steele’s firm to try to verify the stories. The money reportedly was never paid.
The Daily Caller reports that the FBI involvement in the chain of events is key, because it used the tantalizing “not verified” and “raw” dossier to get a FISA warrant to spy on Trump’s campaign adviser:
The report raises questions about the degree of confidence that the FBI had in the dossier. And that level of confidence is important because the FBI reportedly relied on the dossier in a September application for a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
As The Guardian reported in January, even Senator John McCain (R-AZ) was brought in to receive the sordid document.
The Washington Times reports that the Democrats have used the dossier to argue for an independent prosecutor to investigate Trump in order to impeach him.

Here's Proof Obama Administration LIED To Us About Climate Change

On his radio program Thursday, constitutional lawyer and bestselling author Mark Levin slammed the Obama administration for manipulating data about climate change and "lying" to the American people in order to advance its socialist ideology.
Levin was responding to a report by The Daily Caller's Chris White, who highlighted an admission by a former Obama Energy Department official earlier in the week that the administration deliberately presented "misleading" and "sometimes just wrong" climate data. Here's an excerpt from the report (second hyperlink added):

“What you saw coming out of the press releases about climate data, climate analysis, was, I’d say, misleading, sometimes just wrong,” Koonin said, referring to elements within the Obama administration he said were responsible for manipulating climate data.
He pointed to a National Climate Assessment in 2014 showing hurricane activity has increased from 1980 as an illustration of how federal agencies fudged climate data. Koonin said the NCA’s assessment was technically incorrect.
“What they forgot to tell you, and you don’t know until you read all the way into the fine print is that it actually decreased in the decades before that,” he said.
Levin pointed to Koonin's statement as yet more evidence that the Obama administration had let ideology trump the truth and outright "lied" to the American people.
"We were lied to. We were lied to in order to advance an ideology," said the radio host.
The administration's actions, he argued, were all part of its larger goal of promoting the ideals of "the socialist Left, the Marxist Left," which seeks to tear down capitalism piece by piece and "nationalize economic decision making." The global warming "myth," said Levin, is one of the Left's key tools in promoting that destructive ideology.
As White highlights in his report, Koonin explained that press officers working with key scientific agencies like the National Oceanic Administration (NOAA) and NASA, repeatedly crafted misleading reports on climate data. Though the UN's Panel on Climate Change found that there "is limited evidence of changes in extremes associated with other climate variables since the mid-20th century" and that current data shows "no significant observed trends in global tropical cyclone frequency over the past century," the administration presented a far different picture.
Koonin, who served under Obama from 2009 to 2011, went on to lament the politicization of science suggested that the ethos should be to “tell it like it is. You’re a scientist and it is your responsibility to put the facts on the table.”
NASA and NOAA’s actions, he said, are problematic, because “public opinion is formed by the data that is formed from those organizations and appears in newspapers.”

Public School Principal Berates Christian Student; Calls the Bible a “Work of Fiction” and says “I Don’t Give a F*** what you Think Jesus Tells Me”

Wow. I have seen liberals suddenly snap when faced with opposing viewpoints, but i’m not sure i’ve ever seen someone go nuclear as quickly as a public school administrator in Pennsylvania did earlier this week.
Zach Ruff is an assistant principal in Downington, Pennsylvania and he really doesn’t like people who are pro-life, or Christian. Like, not at all.
On Wednesday, one of Ruff’s students, 16-year old Conner Haines, decided to express his opinion that abortion was wrong on the PUBLIC sidewalk that runs in front of his High School. Conner was joined by his 19-year old sister and the two held pro-life signs while telling passers-by that abortion was a murder but that they could find forgiveness in Jesus. Soon after they began their completely legal demonstration, Ruff appeared and the situation immediately grew ugly.
When Ruff arrives on the scene he tells them that they must leave or he will call the police. When young Conner replies that the sidewalk is public property and that he has every right to be there and then encourages Ruff to contact the police, Ruff turns to acting as a living wall and stands between the young protester and those passing by.
When Conner tells Ruff that the babies being aborted are “image bearers” of God, the principal tells the young man that he “can go to hell, where they are, too.” Think about that, a public school official just told one of his students that he can “go to hell” while also insinuating that the murdered children are also in hell. Does that sound like the kind of thing a man in his position should say? Does this sound like the kind of man that should be in authority over our children?
The two eventually debate the personhood of the unborn children with Ruff arguing that preborn babies aren’t children, they’re just “cells.” Ruff then adds that Conner is at a “science” based school, so he should believe in science. What is ironic about this is that Ruff has seemingly ignored all the science on abortion and doesn’t realize that children born as young as 20 weeks can survive outside of their mother’s womb (with medical attention)… which would seem to indicate that they are not simply a clump of “cells” but proves that they are indeed living, breathing human beings.
After getting the science wrong, Ruff attacks Conner’s Christian faith. When Conner tells the principal that Jesus could forgive him of his sins, Ruff explodes in anger and being berating the 16-year old.
“Listen here son, alright?” Ruff said with a chuckle. “I’m as gay as the day is long and twice as sunny. I don’t give a f*** what you think Jesus tells me and what I should and should not be doing.” Ruff also called the Bible a “book of fiction” and told Conner Haines that “you and Trump can go to hell.”
Then things got… weird. Ruff, apparently having reached his breaking point, grabbed Conner’s poster forcing the teenager to recoil in fear and prompting a nearby parent to get involved.
From the Blaze:
Haines sure needed it, as Ruff next appeared to grab his sign, compelling the teen to move backward.
“Stop harassing my children!” Ruff yelled.
That apparently set off one witness who got out of his car and got in Ruff’s face.
“You got a f***in’ problem?” the man yelled at Ruff. “He’s on public property.”
Ruff retorted, “He’s not allowed to yell at my students.”
“He can do whatever the f*** he wants,” the man told Ruff.
When Ruff told the man he’s holding up traffic, the man replied, “I don’t give a s**t.”
Ruff then threatened to call the police, and the man smirked before walking off and saying, “Another loony, wacko liberal.”
Seemingly proving the man’s point, Ruff next began singing “I Love a Parade” at top volume to drown out the Haines siblings — he even attempted some dance steps.
In the aftermath of the confrontation and the insanity displayed by the assistant principal, the school stepped in and has suspended Ruff pending an investigation.
On Wednesday evening we became aware of a confrontation that took place on a sidewalk outside the STEM Academy at the end of the school day on April 21, 2017 involving one of our staff members and two protesters. The argument was captured on film. We have begun a thorough investigation into this unfortunate situation and have placed the staff member on administrative leave. We do not condone or support the conduct expressed in the video and are deeply disappointed that this incident occurred. His conduct does not represent the values of the school district or the respect we expect our employees to show for the civil rights of others. This has now become a personnel matter and we must follow the policies and procedures that we have in place concerning staff issues. We truly apologize to all for the actions of this employee.
Some locals have expressed support for Ruff saying that he was just trying to protect his students. However, this argument is disingenuous as his students were never in any danger, or under any threat of danger. Instead, what Ruff did was place one of his students, Conner Haines, in danger by ostracizing and “otherizing” him and his beliefs. Conner will now be a pariah in his school, someone who stands outside the mainstream and is different, and it’s all Ruff’s fault.
Ruff should be fired from his position because he has displayed a clear lack of reasoning skills. He openly attacked one of his own students, yelling at him, mocking him, berating him, and belittling his most closely held beliefs. Ruff purposefully made the school an unsafe place for Conner Haines and that is something that no public school teacher or administrator can ever be allowed to do. Ruff does not deserve the opportunity to serve our students, or to lead our schools.
He MUST be FIRED.

Congressional Black Caucus Lists 100 Ways Donald Trump Is Racist

From the beginning of his campaign, the media, democrats, and lefty activists have accused Donald Trump of being a racist. Until now, the only proof they’ve offered for this narrative is that he said some illegal aliens are criminals and rapists, which as it turns out is 100% true. Thankfully a group of racially segregated members of Congress have stepped in and offered a list of 100 things Trump and his administration have done that are inherently racist. Is a pretty good list if you can temporarily suspend your attachment to reality. If you are hopelessly tethered to the real world however, you might find it insanely ridiculous.
The Congressional Black Caucus, not to be confused with the racist non-existent Congressional White Caucus, is celebrating President Trump’s first 100 days by issuing a list to help people “stay woke.” I’m not even kidding, this is the terminology the CBC is using to highlight the 100 things Trump has done to attack “our communities (e.g. children, women, people of color, LGBT, immigrants, poor, middle-class and others) and the country.”
As you can imagine, this list is pretty silly. It starts out by complaining that Trump, with a Republican controlled Senate, was able to get his cabinet nominees confirmed. In fact,the first 6 items on the list are dedicated to Trump nominees with no explanation as to how this is racist/sexist/homophobic or whatever.
By #7, the CBC takes issue that Trump rolled back an Obama gun control regulation that was denying people their rights without due process. Sure, defending the Constitution is part of Trump’s job, but at least I can see how the CBC would think it’s racist because it involves unf*cking something Obama did and we all know it’s racial heresy to forsake St. Barry.
Several more grievances involve Attorney General Jeff Sessions enforcing existing laws, which is apparently racist because black people commit a lot of crime.
There are many items related to statements Trump gave on Black History Month and Holocaust Remembrance Day that the CBC didn’t like but this bit of “racism” is downright hilarious:
On February 16, after veteran White House reporter April Ryan asked President Trump during a press conference if he would meet with the CBC, he said, “Who?”
Yeah, the CBC thinks Trump is racist because he didn’t know who they are.
Then:
On March 6, in his first speech to Department of Housing and Urban Development employees, Secretary Carson called slaves “immigrants” even though they came to America involuntarily.
Isn’t it kind of racist that the CBC won’t use black HUD Secretary Ben Carson’s name? Or mention that Obama had said the same thing on numerous occasions?
The CBC also considers it racist that Trump said he thought he was doing a good job as president. If bragging about doing a good job is racist, then Obama is the most racist person to ever occupy the White House. He patted himself on the back so much, he wore through a couple dozen suits in his 8-year reign of self-promotion.
The list goes on and on b*tching about things like Trump’s efforts to enforce immigration laws that are already on the books and his attempt to take federal funding away from abortion providers.
I defy you to read this list and not laugh. There isn’t one thing that is remotely racist in all of the examples given. Mostly, it’s a list of grievances leftist progressives have with a conservative President. In other words, if you think differently than a liberal you are a racist.
In rebuttal I went ahead and prepared a list of examples of how the CBC is racist:
1. Their name is the Congressional Black Caucus and their membership is restricted to people of a certain race.
It turns out I only needed 1 item to prove my point.

United Nations Sides With North Korea Over US…

After weeks of mass tension over North Korea’s nuclear program, US Secretary of State urges for international sanctions.
Rex Tillerson states that if they fail to act it will “lead to catastrophic consequences.”
“All options for responding to future provocation must remain on the table. Diplomatic and financial levers of power will be backed up by a willingness to counteract North Korean aggression with military action if necessary,” Mr Tillerson said. “We much prefer a negotiated solution to this problem but we are committed to defending ourselves and our allies against North Korean aggression.”

Obviously, North Korea has done its own share of “muscle flexing” over the years, from wild threats to real attacks. Not to mention the heinous way they treat their citizens.
How can the U.N. seriously consider unconditional negotiations as the North has shown no interest in abandoning its nuclear weapons and missile capacity while aggressively threatening neighboring countries and the US?
What went wrong with calls for increased sanctions?
The Wall Street Journal reports:
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson convened the session of the United Nation Security Council and called for member states to increase sanctions on Pyongyang and suspend or downgrade diplomatic relations with Kim Jong Un’s regime.
But in the contentious session, Chinese and Russian diplomats sought to shift the blame for the nuclear crisis to Washington. Moscow’s deputy foreign minister accused President Donald Trump of “reckless muscle flexing” by sending more military assets to the Korean Peninsula. “The whole world is seriously wondering if there is going to be a war,” the minister, Gennady Gatilov, told the council.
“Reckless muscle flexing?” North Korea is in possession of nuclear weapons which it tests in spite of sanctions and restrictions. It is currently seeking intercontinental ballistic capacities while threatening to attack the U.S., South Korea, Japan, and even Australia.
Yet responding with anything other than submissiveness is reckless?
Where do we go from here? Is it too late for diplomacy?
The Wall Street Journal continues:
Mr. Tillerson’s speech on Friday was seen by the White House as the start of a stepped-up campaign to isolate North Korea. He urged all countries to cut or suspend diplomatic and economic ties with Pyongyang—comments directed in part at China, North Korea’s key ally.
Mr. Tillerson also said the U.S. would be willing to negotiate with North Korea only if the Kim regime exhibited good faith by honoring U.N. resolutions meant to curb its ballistic missile and nuclear program, which it has consistently violated.
“We will not negotiate our way back to the negotiating table,” he said, adding the U.S. “would not reward” North Korea’s bad behavior with talks.
China sees things differently. Not only is diplomacy still the best option, but the U.S. and South Korea have increased tensions. According to China, when North Korea threatens to murder your people for years on end while demonstrating tests on nuclear weapons and missiles, you’re not really supposed to take it seriously.
The Wall Street Journal continues:
China called for unconditional diplomacy and accused the U.S. and South Korea of ratcheting up tensions by expanding military exercises and suggested that both sides had equal responsibility in defusing the situation.
“The use of force does not solve differences and will only lead to bigger disasters,” China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi told the council. He said there can’t be “double standards” and talks must resume without preconditions.
[…] The U.S. Treasury Department’s former point man on North Korea, Daniel Glaser, said Thursday that U.S. policy makers needed to understand that China views North Korea as an ally, regardless of its frustration with Kim Jong Un’s activities.

Baltimore warns prosecutors to “think twice” before charging illegal immigrants

It almost pains me to bring this up on the same day that I finally found some good news out of Baltimore, but this has far more to do with the municipal management team than the cops on the beat. We’re once again veering back to the ongoing saga of so-called sanctuary cities figuring out ways to not cooperate with immigration officials in matters of law enforcement. One of the key sticking points for these liberal municipal leaders is that ICE is already deporting some illegals who are only guilty of “minor crimes.” Never ones to be short of outside the box thinking when tackling problems, the city’s State’s Attorney Office has come up with a real brainstorm. ICE won’t be able to pick them up if we don’t charge them with the crimes in the first place. Nope.. this isn’t even a joke. (Baltimore Sun)
The Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office has instructed prosecutors to think twice before charging illegal immigrants with minor, non-violent crimes in response to stepped up immigration enforcement by the Trump administration.
Deputy State’s Attorney Michael Schatzow, in a memo sent to all staff Thursday and obtained by The Sun, wrote that the Justice Department’s deportation efforts “have increased the potential collateral consequences to certain immigrants of minor, non-violent criminal conduct.”
“In considering the appropriate disposition of a minor, non-violent criminal case, please be certain to consider those potential consequences to the victim, witnesses, and the defendant,” Schatzow wrote.
There’s a fairly clear line between “defiant resistance to Trump” and going completely around the bend. Baltimore is boldly striking out into uncharted territory in the latter category. It’s one thing to refuse to cooperate with ICE in matters of detainers, sharing information and all the rest. It’s an entirely different ball game to decide that you can avoid attracting the attention of federal immigration officers by deciding not to prosecute criminals, no matter how “serious” the crimes may be. And who thought this up? The article cites the Deputy State’s Attorney as having written the memo but you know this didn’t happen without the seal of approval of Marilyn Mosby. (The actual State’s Prosecutor of Freddie Gray fame.)
Let’s think about that for a moment. In other words, for some of these comparatively low level crimes, the city wants prosecutors to go after and punish actual citizens of the country who may have run afoul of the law, but those who compound the issue by knowingly being in the country illegally to begin with are given a pass. Are the actual citizens in Baltimore who pay the taxes which fund these officials listening to this?
And what sort of crimes are we talking about here? Obviously it’s not jaywalking or parking tickets because prosecutors at that level don’t wind up getting involved in such nuisance issues. For these purposes they want to focus on “minor, non-violent criminal cases.” One could imagine that might include petty theft or any burglary which doesn’t rise in value to the grand theft arena. Perhaps passing bad checks? These are the sorts of things most any of us would wind up in front of a judge for. We might not go to jail, but would probably at least be paying a fine and possibly some sort of probation. But if you happen to be an illegal alien residing in Baltimore, congratulations! You’ve pretty much got a free pass after this. Snatch all the purses you like because even if you get caught there won’t be any consequences.
We’re talking about officers of the court who are charged with upholding the law. And they are seriously cautioning the staff to consider not prosecuting people who are suspected of these crimes on the basis of the fact that they are already committing a crime by being here illegally. If you are a citizen or lawful immigrant living in Baltimore you should be outraged by this. But if you keep electing these same people who pull these sorts of stunts over and over again I have zero sympathy for you at this point.

Monster snowstorm in Colorado forces postponement of climate change & global warming rally
A late spring snowstorm forces a climate change rally in Colorado to be postponed.
A mid-spring snowstorm in Colorado over the weekend postponed a rally that sought to bring attention “climate change” and “global warming,” as well as protest President Donald Trump’s climate policies.
A march slated to take place in Colorado Springs on Saturday had to be cancelled after weather forecasters predicted heavy snowfall and blizzard-like conditions. Only a few inches of snow fell in the Colorado Springs area, but more than a foot of snow fell on other parts of the state.
“Sometimes Mother Nature throws you a curveball! We know we aren’t in the business of risking anyone’s safety. Dangerous conditions and wet heavy snow in the forecast for tomorrow,” a local climate change organization wrote on their Facebook page.
The rally and march was rescheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The freezing weather and snow, however, was unable to postpone a similar rally in Denver, where pictures of a snowman at the global warming rally made rounds on Twitter.
As well as an ironic sign:
In other parts of the country where similar marches and rallies took place, the weather was a little kinder to the liberal climate alarmist narrative. In Washington D.C., the temperature was in the upper 80’s to near 90 as people gathered to protest Trump’s climate policies.
The People’s Climate March, which was supported by hundreds of thousands across the country and tens of thousands in Washington, was sponsored by environmental groups, labor unions and social justice groups.
Video showed thousands marching in the streets of Washington, where former Vice President Al Gore, Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio and Virgin Atlantic owner Richard Branson showed up to protest as well.
This weekend’s protests come one week after last week’s “March for Science.”
