According to insiders in the CIA, that would be 1 day to the planned CIA assassination of Trump, they plan to assassinate him during the inauguration. Pray that their plans do not pan out. And the Major News Media, which is the Federal Governments ministry of propaganda, is setting it up by claiming that if Trump is assassinated before taking the oath, then it will not be Trump’s appointees that succeed him, but Obama's appointees. But, actually, the plan is for Obama to declare a national emergency and martial law, blame Russia for the assassination, and go to war against Russia while continuing as president, he has already sent tanks and troops over to Germany and Poland to be in position when the assassination occurs, and Russia, which is aware of all of this, has told her troops to prepare for war.
Trump has said that if he is assassinated during the inauguration, it would mean civil war. And yes, that is exactly right, and the civil war would begin in Washington DC, and military men would be involved in it, most of them on the side of the Trump. Pray that it does not happen. Earlier last year, God was foretelling through a Christian man in South Africa (now deceased)that Trump would run and win and that Trump would become a trumpet for him. And a Jewish orthodox rabbi in Israel, who is having visions which include Trump, is being told by God that he will help trump. (These reports can be found in YouTube videos). Pray that God protects Trump and that the CIA's plan to assassinate him on inauguration day fails.

During the 16 weeks between Lincoln's victory in the 1860 presidential election and Inauguration Day, seven slave states had declared their secession from the Union and formed the Confederate States of America. Specifically Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas. Nearly all of the members of Congress from each of these states at this time (35th Congress) were Democrats. So yes, you can say democrats boycotted Lincoln's inauguration in a major way.

There’s a lot of outrage surrounding the Betsy DeVos confirmation hearing. Donald Trump’s nominee for education secretary was asked about everything from climate change to conversion therapy to keeping guns in schools. When challenged to help Bernie Sanders with his plan to make college tuition free, DeVos reminded him that nothing in life is truly free, (which Sanders conceded).
But it’s what happened at the end of the hearing that’s causing a bit of an uproar on social media. As Devos made her way around a crowd and proceeded to shake hands with the senators who questioned her, she extended her hand to Senator Elizabeth Warren, but the progressive icon and 2020 Democratic frontrunner promptly “waved her off” and left the room.
Warren’s apparent snub was widely criticized on social media by pundits on the political right, who called the move classless and another example of the erosion of proper decorum in Washington, which has created a toxic, partisan atmosphere that voters can’t stand. On the political left, Warren was cheered for “pwning” DeVos.
What really happened? A closer look at the video of the altercation suggests it was neither a “snubbing” nor a “pwning.”
At the 1:41 mark of the video, Warren clearly does raise her hand to wave at DeVos before walking away. But what is being denounced as a vicious snub on Warren’s part is perhaps better understood as an example of cultural misunderstanding, or, at worst, racist insensitivity on the part of Warren’s critics, including DeVos.
Upon closer examination, Warren appears to be signaling to DeVos in her native Cherokee. The open hand gesture, first developed in 1823, is universally recognized among Native American Indian sign-language studies, according to manataka.org.
DeVos may have perceived it as a refusal to shake hands, but it was actually an attempt at a friendly gesture. Like a typical Trump supporter, DeVos failed to recognize and embrace the diverse tapestry of America. This is problematic on several levels.
The respected Senator from Massachusetts is clearly acknowledging DeVos with her native people’s “Hau” hand gesture, indicating “Greeting” or, more specifically, “I have spoken.”
Actually, that’s not even correct, though it’s a typical misreading by cisgendered white imperialists. In fact, “Hau” is the greeting used by Native Dakota Sioux tribes. The proper greeting used by Warren’s native Cherokee is “Osiyo.” Conflating the two would be problematic as confusing French and German.

Social/Independent media has actually restored Democracy by bringing back the open sharing of ideas and diverse viewpoints.

CNN reportedly asks for access to Inauguration event, gets curt note on why they won’t get it instead

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
CNN got an epic smackdown when it requested press passes to cover the highly anticipated DeploraBall, a pro-Trump inauguration party being held tonight at the National Press Club.
MAGA 3X, the group that organized the DeploraBall, posted a blistering response to CNN, saying its press application was rejected because of the network’s history of biased news coverage.
MAGA 3X said it had issued press passes to other liberal media outlets like the New Yorker and New York magazine, but CNN didn’t deserve to cover the event.
DeploraBall co-organizer Jack Posobiec tweeted that BuzzFeed was also denied a press pass.
Trump loyalists and DeploraBall fans loved seeing “fake news” king CNN being put in its place.
The DeploraBall recently made headlines after undercover videos by Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe showed a network of anti-Trump protesters planning to disrupt the black-tie event with acid attacks.
In one video, a man named Scott Green blithely discusses with fellow conspirators Colin Dunn and Luke Kuhn how they plan to release stink bombs in the HVAC system of the National Press Club, where the DeploraBall is being held.
The trio brags that the stink bombs would ruin partygoers’ clothing with their stench. The obnoxious smell would infect the entire building and eventually cause the DeploraBall to shut down.
“This stuff is very efficient. It’s very, very smelly,” Scott Green said. “It lasts a long time and a little bit of it goes a long way.”
Colin Dunn agreed: “If you get it into the HVAC system, it will get into the whole building.”
Luke Kuhn chimed in: “If you had a pint of butyric acid, I don’t care how big the building is, it’s closing.”
The DeploraBall has since alerted the FBI, and the matter is now under investigation.

Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people.

I don't think it matters too much who had more attendees at their Inauguration, we all know Obama's was historical, he can have that. Plus a lot of his support came from that NE area, New York etc, people who could get there easily.
Too bad he failed to live up to all that excitement, but it was there at the time.

i kept changing back and forth between cnn and fox. there was a 30-45 sec delay on cnn
which was very noticable...i knew something was up because their pics of the crowd looked
different. did anyone else notice?
