I think a decent person is one who treats you with respect, truly wants to get to know the real you, treats you with kindness. The dictionary also says proper or properly, the right way, in good order, nice.
When I started this thread all I want is someone to treat me and visa versa  with utmost respect, toss in all your honesty, and then mix in some quiet times to get to know one another at first and later well, you do what you want if you fall for each other (hummmm that would be a personal thing) 
I believe everything good is worth waiting for and you have to know each other and grow a relationship from friendship first. The lovin' will come later. I think that a portion of us want a good courtship, full of lots of fun times, kissing and hugging and well, everyone has their own time line. I just don't like to meet the ones that all they want is SEX IMMEDIATELY!! That's not someone wanting a lasting relationship....
So, what does everyone else think? Maybe I'm thinking inside my own box, but come on people, what about a true companionship first and see where that takes you? It isn't always down a fairy tale land into a dream world, but it's fun trying anyhow.

Yes I think there is some decent and honest men out there. I have found a few we just weren't meant for each other but they were great people. So there are some out there.
