Years ago when I was active in the mating game, most of the women I found in the pool were rather shallow. I devised a formula for them regarding what they were after: looks + money = ideal mate, extra money + no looks = acceptable mate, looks + no money = a temporary fling, no looks + no money = no need to apply.
What does decent and honest mean in this context?

looks and money have nothing to do with being a decent and honest person.
Decent is someone who treats you with respect, caring, compassinate, tender, nice, etc
and honest is just that...sincere, true, real, genuine...honest

Decent and Honest. Nice to have, but I developed a more cynical view. Money = good provider, good looks = potentially good genes. A decent troll is still a troll; poor but honest is still poor. When there are many men to choose from, what woman doesn't want to pick from the cream of the crop? The answer to the question is, yes, there are lots of decent and honest men. If they aren't rich or handsome, then that is not their problem.
