stormbay Tasmania Australia age: 62	Elise I've met many people like you in the churches of the world, they are called the cannon fodder of life, very unevolved, highly superstitious and lacking a personal life. That's why they cling with desperation to illusional ideologies, people like Hitler come into those categories, god fearing egotistical elitists, whose only aim was to be right. history shows us how wring they are and you will note other zealots disagree with you. it's a fault with this debauched belief, you all have these weird interpretations which don't reflect anything which was written in the original biblical stories. My enlightenment to the truth came within the first months of my anthropological studies. When I finished at university, I spent 7 years travelling and studying,Until I had exhausted all avenues of finding some support or evidence supporting the veracity of the bible and the religions expression. Anthropology is the science in which we study human origins, development, distribution, social habits, culture and languages. When you look at that from how the abrahamic belief aspect and trace it around the world since it's inception, a real picture forms which show the real truth. My thesis was on monotheism culture and it's cultural effects since it's inception. The picture is one of ongoing genocide, debauched torture, invasions by force and stealth, enslavement, discrimination and suppression. Their is not one piece of evidence that can be brought forward that would support any benefiting outcomes for all the cultures touched by god. Every single one revolves around violence and lies. To go on getting paid and looked upon by parishioners and those I was counselling, as representing something I knew was totally false and evil, would only make me a bigger hypocrite and liar than I felt I already was at the time. So I left and continued the work I did inside the church from outside, as I still do voluntarily.

You can actually sense him with how people behaves, their attitudes in life base on their upbringing. Satan is like a roaring lion, seeking persons to devour (espcially Christians). You don't wanna spend your soul in hell, right? where maggots and worms won't die. And the devil rules over to people who decided to choose this path. I haven't see actually satan, but i felt his claws when I was sleeping 5 years ago, but now it's gone. The other day, I watched a show which was featuring pictures from the Hubble Telescope, what an awesome creation we are part of, the last picture they showed was of a solar system, I think it was Andromeda, not sure, but when they got a close up of the very center of the solar system, there was this great cross, design or coincidence? I guess we will all decide for ourselves. I agree with Storm, when he says there have been many atrocities done in God's name. These have been committed by mankind, using the Lords name in vain. By people and churches who profess to know God, but have failed in one great thing and that is walking through their life, in the way of Jesus Christ, who said, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." "Jesus is the way, truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, but by him." Jesus went to the cross willingly, not even defending himself, when mankind was humiliating, torturing and destroying his earthly body.

Many people do not share the Faith (which is blind), and needed to Believe that God is real. Many do not have the foresight to see that God works in and through the lives of many who do have the Faith to Believe. There is no feasible way to prove the existence of the Eternal Creator; our only means of evidence is through our blind Faith (JMHO) However, even a blind man (had he known me previously to who I am today), would know that a Divine Inspiration altered my beliefs which in turn altered my behavior and attitude towards my fellow sisters and brothers of every denomination and beliefs. This in turn should be enough evidence to confirm that a power greater than ourself is alive and active. Yet it is not enough. So your spirit is dead so that you cannot comprehend what the Word of God is saying. Even if you can read them, you cannot grasp its deepest meaning by heart. Unless Jesus Christ is in your heart and life, then you'll be able to understand Spiritual things. Now I can understand, why people reacted negatively on this topic. Just as the spirit is dead when the first man sinned, so is the mind of those who doesn't belong to God. Romans 8:5-9 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but for those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. I was so relaxed in my faith, without knowing that people are headed for eternal hell if we don't take action and share the Gospel. But really how can one understand the Scripture if we don't study and search our hearts beforehand. One thing I've learned that God will surely direct our paths in the right way. There are more important things to know about God and the Bible than studying cult, which is totally rubbish and satanic in nature. God opposes this kind of activities big time. In the old testament, during Joseph's time, the Pharoah had a dream and they bring wise man, magicians, and it turns out they can't interpret the Pharaoh's dreams. But when the cupbearer heard of the king's concern, he recommended Joseph who did interpret the cupbearer's dream successfully. Genesis 41 v. 8 - In the morning Pharoah, feeling disturbed, had all the magicians and wise man of Egypt summoned to him. Pharaoh told his dream , BUT THERE WAS NO ONE TO INTERPRET IT FOR PHARAOH. See, the Pharoah ended up consulting Joseph to interpet his dreams Notice what Joseph replied is: verse 16 - 'Not I, Joseph said to Pharoah, "God will give Pharoah a favourable answer". Jumped to verse 19 - So Pharoah said to Joseph. Since God has given you knowledge of all this, there can be no one as intelligent and wise as you. That means interpreting a dream is possible if God is with you. And not all have the gift. Joseph did not study or take courses, he was gifted by such knowledge and protected by God. So, personally, I don't want to pursue paranormal stuff. I just go with what the Bible is saying because it has been tied and there are evidences that prove its truth. elise7
