elise7 Calgary, AB age: 38	skunk, when i say i believe in God and satan - what i mean is believing in their existence on earth and experiencing that they do exists. I can say that I believe in God who loves me and at the same time believing that satan will always hinder the work of God in my life by setting up hindrances to not share God's salvation to people who hasn't hear the Gospel or the Good News. Another thing that satan works in a Christians lives is by doubting God's promises or just being laxed in God's work. And also, by not taking God seriously when it comes to living a Christian life. As much as i believe in God, i also believe that satan's works must be exposed, so that people will be warned and decide their eternal destination. elise7

People who hope in this rotten world is foolish because here on earth is chaos, trouble, war, conflict and most of all we are always dealing with our shortcomings and sins. The Bible says, pity those who put their trust in this world, why, because people have "expiration" . bl8ant Amsterdam Netherlands age: 53	i don't put my trust in this world...i trust nothing and no one. but that's not the point.... what i have...what i own...is this moment...it is clean...and perfect (for now) sometimes my moments are not clean and perfect in terms of harmony and peace... for me that is like the nightime of my day, the darker moments the confusing realities...the shadows...they offer me a wealth of possibilities in discerning what is what. i make a judgement about what works for me and what doesn't and i choose. i am a good kid...because it feels great, not because i will be rewarded by any god or future promise of karmic bounty. i do what i do because i love to. my religion is my life..my work the steps i take the actual walk i walk.... and the music i dance to i don't ask anyone to sing along and i dont ask anyone to walk next to me if they like what they see they will stick around i'm lucky like that... =o) ps..... i am not worried about dying...have been declared dead 3 times ... i'm kinda stubborn as well [Edited 1/7/2008 1:02:10 AM]

We people, do not actually show respect to God by relying on ourselves, without realizing that everything will pass away even our life here on earth as it is very temporary. It's so sad that we rely on our self so much just to prove to the world that we owe no one even God himself, in which He alone knows who we actually are. Being a good person is a sure sign of a civil person, but if we don't acknowledge who is the source of our being as a person, we are only deceiving ourselves. Even if we are successful in life, there will always be that nagging feeling to always compete and ended up unsatisfied in life. Because only God can fill that missing puzzle in our lives. Deny that, then we are not treating our lives truthfully. Bear in mind that we are limited and God is not. He is eternal and would like to be with us if we acknowledge Him in our lives. The existence of God and hell which is stated in the Bible means that we have our own limitations. He is Sovereign, we are continously enjoying His creation and yet we show no respect to even thank Him and for His existence. Talking about ungratefulness. Good works is a very reasonable thing to do. It shows what kind of person we are. But it will not satisfy the emptiness that we feel inside. Even if we try to buy our time with good works, money, success, good family etc., it will always boils down to one big problem - EMPTINESS. We can put our mask before people how good and respectable we are but it will naturally show how our discontent we people are. The answer to all this dilemna is God and Him alone. Even our very breath comes from Him. We are connected to Him, that is why we cannot live in this world apart from God. That emptiness will only be filled by God himself. No one else can and will. We will try different things to relieve that emptiness but God is the only solution to these. I respect your opinion and no one can persuade you to believe in any of these. But for your soul's sake, give God a chance to prove His power, love and peace in your life before it's too late. Just as medicine has expiration date, we too have to die one day. Nobody knows when or how, but are we ready to meet your Creator even now? elise7

elise7 Calgary, AB age: 38	skunk, yeah, even demons believe in God. Why, because they are subjected to God who has all the power to destroy satan, his angels and dominion. God doesn't want us to spend our eternity in hell, that's the whole reason He made the first move to make a way by sending His Son Jesus Christ on the cross for our salvation. Satan has limitations like us human beings, unlike God, He is all powerful, all present and all knowing God. That's why there is a story in the Bible about the demon possesed and Jesus freed that person by stating the name of Jesus and the demons flee. That means, if you are a Christian and accept Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, God is giving us the power to cast out demons in ourselves and to others as well in the name of Jesus Christ. You can heal sick people by laying of hands and they will be healed and be set free. These are all the promises of God to those who will acknowledge God in their lives. How great is that. And yet people are resorting to mediums, clairvoyance, cult just to prove that their power is lesser than God. i hope this would clear some of your confusion elise7

I am not actually sure if God is blaming us for our imperfections, He actually made a way to reconcile us to Him by sending His son thru the death on the cross to prove His unconditional love towards us. He knows how weak we people are. That's why He made the first move. HE will continously pursue his love towards us even if we don't like it. Just how loving you are to your grandchildren, even if they did wrong and you still accept and believe in them, it's the same with God, with open arms, He will accept us no matter how filty our sins and our lives are. He will forgive and forget our evildoings and make us a new person. That is His nature and we cannot argue with that. elise7

bl8ant Amsterdam Netherlands age: 53	this was a perfect way for me to deliver the example of people and their movies....a kiss a simple kiss but if you could ask the people close to me...we kiss 3 times each cheek every time we meet or part....kisses everywhere lol you may most certainly have a kiss and there is no sin where there is no crime committed... but either you have a personal pilot and a flight plan for Nigerian river delta (hahahahahaaaaa) or you can make a wallpaper of it with my best wishes that with that kiss will find you in good health and prosperity as to something that caught my eye above,..... i am happily empty at times...then able to drink and receive until my cup is full...why spill it? i drink what i need and i give what i have, we are not separate...and so if you believe, i do not need to...hahahahaha it doesn't matter whether i believe or not and it makes no sense to me anyway so i am fine where i am with all of it....

He shows miracles in my family that no one can understand. For you if a person is depending their faith, you're accusing them of self-righteous. Why not see yourself in the mirror. You are actually challenging God not me and His authority over you. If you respect the authority here on earth who are human being like you capable of mistakes, why can't you respect God in your life who is holy and Sovereign above all else. You are not afraid that He can take your life even at this very second. Your tounge is so sharp to belittle even God himself. You don't have that right. NONE WHATSOEVER IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. As the Bible says, the battle is won already. I may not win this argument, but God will always fight for His people just as in the Old Testament. Enough is enough of your useless points. "You really are scary." do not fear man...especially one who is on first name basis with your god. neither he nor i will harm you....we only try to push you up, not down...your god wants people of courage, asking questions, demanding answers that make sense, and having a sense of humor is okay too...confusion, clothed as logic and reason is still confusion... my life?... does your god still kill people who stand up to the confusion of ignorance and fear?..did he ever do such a thing?...fear not!...has been repeated for eons... where there is fear there is that much less love....indoctrination using fear is teaching without love. my god would not want anyone who comes to him out of fear...i suspect any god that would lead one into that realm of fear as being cowardly and weak....
