There is a better place to see what hell is, just read the bible it describes the hell imposed by yahweh on his followers and those who resisted him. The NT also describes the hell yahweh will impose upon non believers and when you see how the followers of yahweh are currently acting world wide, you can't get more hellish than that. skunkbreath Saint James, MO age: 88	elise, I do speak only for myself!..and i know of others that feel the same way when it comes to not caring for your slimy love!...i do not speak for them, but i do repeat what they have said in this respect... your deceptive and slimy love approach is what i do not care for... i realize that you like to think of yourself as a loving, "saved", child of god... i am only pointing out that your tactics and words are an impediment to what you say you want to do... i do not like it...others, who i know about, do not like it... If this is the only way that you know, then you must do what you know. unless you accidently discover a better way! If you are so perfect that you can not accept criticism, then that is another of your problems, not mine... If your god can only recuit with "fear", then you do not know your bible! And, i question which god you are truely, unknowingly following. You posted a thread here with proclamations of love inorder to snare people using fear. If you see no contradiction in that , then you are in deep delusion. In love there is no fear!...ever hear about that?

skunkbreath Saint James, MO age: 88	storm, "sounds like an exciting trip, can I come next time" i don't think you would enjoy it. it is as much of a feeling as visual..it is a suffocating, oppressive hopelessness. you can ask to go there in dream, but if you do i doubt if you ask for a return trip....and even with an intellectual analysis of the experience, the emotional memory remains for a time.

Much more pleasant and delightful and Skunk is right. Those voids are places that consume your emotions and your body. Me thinks in those places, it is survival mode thinking only.

stormbay Tasmania Australia age: 62	I'm always up for a challenge Kel, and remember the old saying," going where angels fear to tread". Fear is only of fear itself and our ability to handle the circumstances we find ourselves in. But I like the gold bit, currently I'm broke and could do with bit of the folding stuff to fuel my boat and get a couple new sails, more crew, better weather, a life, the list goes on. Life is what you make of it and things like heaven and hell are just words, peace comes with acceptance of life and contentment comes when you can cope with it, without resorting looking for someone or something to be responsible for your actions other than you. Nether do i...we were only telling about our experiences...i do not do guided dreaming, but if someone says that they can, who am i to disbelieve them...i have no idea what is going on with many phenomenon in the world. i can only guess using my limited knowledge and mental ability....consciousness is one of the most interesting and difficult fields of study. the brain is an electro-chemical machine, but are there other functions other than organizing the body's functions?..,,maybe, i don't know.

It seems that you like to be god and you just want to hear your own ideas and opinion without any basis at all. Books will come and goes, but the only book that will last and will take care of your eternal destiny is what is written in the Bible. If you don't want to believe it, fine. I noticed that you keep on justifying yourself which is a sure sign of a person who is seeking for truth in life. As far as I know you already made a judgment for yourself. Don't invite other people to go along with you, because you will be accountable on every insults that you made to God. Truth hurts, whether we like or not, the Bible and God will stand. He is giving us all the chances to repent before it's too late and you no longer have control of your life.

stormbay Tasmania Australia age: 62	Skunk, I know you and Kelly don't have fears of those things, I was just trying to add a little humour. I agree with what you say and the subject fascinates me no end. I can't control all my dreams, but I've learnt to control most of the nightmares of my life. I couldn't think the way I do if I thought our brains were just electrical and chemical machines, I happen to think they may have limited access into other dimensions and act at times as receivers for other dimensions. Jewelz brings up a very interesting concept of the brain having an area which is locked to the conscious and probably unconscious mind. I agree fully, within that inner nano size space, lies the true us, the energy force which makes our bodies alive. No mater what you do with a physical body, no amount of repairing can restore life to it. Otherwise we could have a horrific accident and die, then they could take their time fixing up our bodies and re start them. However you can have body which has little function and support it whilst our consciousness remains and recovers. That's why the religious believe in their mumbo jumbo like heaven and hell, they don't know how to be anything more than a robot and anything which falls outside their programming, they have to class as evil, as their programmed to believe. I believe we have 3 sections of what consists of us which allows us to either break the programming, or abort some aspects of it, When we get a glimpse of the inner most being that we are, those unable to see it as awakenings and discoveries of our inner selves, are programmed to revert to their base state, which was designed for humans when they had a need to have fear and suspicion of their surroundings and any thing new or different. Sadly we still have many who refuse or just can't see beyond those sociological genetic traits, so we get heaven and hell and them going backwards and forwards between the two, never really getting anywhere in their lives, but repeats of repeats. No wonder they are so desperate to tell everyone what they fear, they feel that if they can get everyone to think and believe as they do, it will come true. In the last 3500 years they've tried every form of conversion and are losing ground rapidly via reality and the growing evolution of peoples minds. I believe we are at the cross roads, where humans will have control over live or death. I can see a time, when we will be able to choose how long we want to live and when we have had enough. Then again the closer it gets, the more the followers of the Abrahamic mythology strive to take control before it's to late for them and they are swamped by reason and reality. Nothing like a bit of dreaming is there.
